Abstract

L'invention concerne des compositions de polyoléfine stabilisées vis-à-vis de la dégradation par la lumière. La stabilisation des compositions selon l'invention est obtenue en y incorporant une quantité stabilisatrice d'un mélange a d'une hydroxy-2 alcoxy-4 benzophénone ou d'un (hydroxy-2' alkylphenyl-5')-2 benzotriazole, et b d'un ester obtenu, par exemple, en faisant réagir un acide dialkyl-3,5 hydroxy-4 benzoïque et un alcool approprié en présence d'un catalyseur (acide sulfurique). L'incorporation de ces composés stabilisants permet une bonne protection des polymères qui sont habituellement dégradés par la lumière, en particulier des polyoléfines.
