Abstract

The valve body (1) has a cap (6) which carries the central screw (12) and the adjusting spring (11). The spring acts against the back of the piston (10), and the valve is fitted with bellows on the pressure side. The bellows are fixed at the lower end to the casing by means of a seal (4) and press up against the under side of the piston with the joint (9). When the fluid pressure increases, the piston rises and the bellows follow until stopped by the washer (8). Further travel of the piston will allow the valve to open and discharge through the opening (7).
