Abstract

The interior of the autobus is heated and ventilated by means of a mixture of fresh and recycled air. This is supplied through a heater and an air conditioning evaporator fitted into the roof of the vehicle. The casing has an inlet with a supply of conditioned air and/or a quantity of fresh air. This is connected to ducting fitted with fans and having openings which can be closed to regulate the flow. Flaps into these ducts operate in accordance with the difference in pressure between inlets and outlets. A main inlet flap is operated by a pneumatic cylinder.
