Abstract

A device is used to produce a three dimensional image of an object under a microscope. It uses diffraction of the light beam. The microscope has a light source (1), three convergent lenses (2), a convergent lens (3), a mirror (4), an iris diaphragm (5), an objective lens (6), and an eye-piece (9). There is a stage (7) on the top of the microscope supporting the object to be studied (8), rests upon it. The device (10) has a transparent disc with an opaque smaller disc positioned off-centre on the first disc. It provide incident light rays at an angle so as to produce a three dimensional image.
