Abstract

Procédé pour incinérer des boues d'égout. La boue d'égout déshydratée (c'est-à-dire ne contenant plus que 75 % d'eau) est incinérée après l'avoir mélangée avec des fines de charbon provenant d'un processus d'enrichissement du charbon par voie humide et qui sont sous forme soit de tourteau de charbon soit de boue de lagune. En ajoutant les fines de charbon à la boue d'égout avant ou pendant la déshydratation de cette dernière par filtration, le charbon agit comme auxiliaire de filtration. On peut obtenir une autocombustion du mélange, c'est-à-dire que la combustion ne nécessite pas de combustible supplémentaire pour être entretenue. Utilisation de ces boues dans des fours de centrales thermiques.
