Abstract

The plug assembly consists of a flexible inflatable bag (9) which is fitted with a central pipe (8). This pipe is perforated along the portion in the bag and extends through a right angle bend to a hose connector (13). The pipe is sealed at the insertion of the bag by means of a screwed joint consisting of a collar (2) seal nut (27) and locknut (30). The outside pipe is fitted with a taper plug (16). A pressure gauge (14) is fitted to the air line. The deflated bag may be inserted into the pipe through the opening (17).
