Abstract
Procédé de fabrication de ferromolybdènes par réaction de fusion thermoréductrice. Le procédé de la présente invention comporte la fusion thermoréductrice d'un mélange de réaction composé d'un concentré d'oxyde de molybdène, d'un matériau comprenant du fer, d'un réducteur et d'un agent de flux en proportions contrôlées. Le mélange de réaction est progressivement chargé dans un creuset réfractaire et une réaction exothermique produit une masse fondue de ferromolybdène sur laquelle flotte une couche fondue de laitier. Le chargement est interrompu pendant des intervalles de temps déterminés, de façon à permettre la solidification de la masse d'alliage et, éventuellement, le retrait de la plus grande partie de la couche de laitier fondu, d'où il résulte la production d'un lingot 10 à couches multiples comprenant des couches de ferromolyhdène métallique 42, 44, 46 séparées par des couches intermediaires de laitier résiduel 43, 45, 48. Application à la réduction des coûts de production de ferromolybdène par la diminution de la main-d'oeuvre et de l'énergie nécessaires.
