Abstract

A modular element which may be used to construct a variety of objects such as illuminated display structures. The element is cubic in form, the roof being slightly recessed within the walls and the floor being extended downwards as a short cylinder which may plug into the recess in the roof of the module beneath. Cruciform slots cut in the projecting cylinder allow the blocks to be staggered relative to each other while still maintaining a stable structure. Provision is made for internal illumination and objects mounted on plaques may be inserted for display through holes cut in the module walls.
