Abstract

Layers of insulating material (5) are attached to metal supports (1) by means of rods (2) perpendicular to and welded onto the metal supports. The rods pass through the thickness of the insulating layers and a disc (6) is placed on the end of the rod, over the insulating material to hold it firmly in place. The disc is flat and has, on one side, a tapped sleeve (7) perpendicular to the plane of the disc. This enables the disc to be screwed onto the end of the rod which is also threaded. When in place the end of the rod does not protrude beyond the surface of the disc.
