Abstract

Title cpd. of formula (I) has similar activity to the cpds. disclosed in FR 5422M, i.e. for treatemnt of protidic disorders, hypo-androgenic symptoms and hyperfolliculinia. (I) is, however longer acting. (I) is prepared by reaction of the 17 beta-hydroxy cpds. with an undecanoyl halide. In an example 5g 2-oxaL-oxo-17beta-hydroxyl esta-4,9,11-triene was treated with 10 ml undecanoyl chloride in THF and pyridine to give 4.6 g (I).
