CONSISTE EN EXPONER EL CORTE HISTOLOGICO A UN ANTISUERO QUE ES MONOESPECIFICO DEL ANTIGENO A, O B, O H(O), O AB; MARCAR EL ANTICUERPO OBTENIDO EN ESTE ANTISUERO CON UNA SUSTANCIA FLUORESCENTE, DIRECTA O INDIRECTAMENTE, TAL COMO FLUORESCEINA O RODAMINA; LAVAR EL CORTE HISTOLOGICO Y DESCUBRIR OPTICAMENTE LA PRESENCIA EVENTUAL DEL AGENTE MARCADOR, MEDIANTE LUZ ULTRAVIOLETA. ESTE PROCEDIMIENTO DE DETECCION TIENE APLICACIONES PARA LA EVALUACION PRONOSTICA DE TUMORES MALIGNOS.
