Abstract
Procedimiento para la obtención continua de fases de metales pesados, en especial de estaño metálico bruto pobre en hierro, a partir de concentrados de minerales sulfúricos y/u oxídicos, caracterizado porque el concentrado se funde en una atmósfera neutra hasta débilmente reductora; porque la fusión contenadora de una mezcla de silicatos de metales, en especial de silicatos de estaño y de hierro, se reduce en una etapa con agentes reductores gaseosos, y porque la reducción se lleva a cabo a una temperatura tal de reducción y con un potencial tal de reducción del gas reductor, que se evita por vía termodinámica que el silicato de hierro sea reducido al mismo tiempo a hierro.
