Abstract

An external rear-view mirror for a vehicle having a front portion (5) and a rear portion (12), the front portion (5) having a mirror body (3) supported thereon and also having means for supporting adjustment levers and pivotal axes for tilting the mirror body (3) from a lever (4) within the vehicle. The adjustment levers and pivotal axles are housed within the rear portion (12) to which the front portion (5) is secured by push-button-type fastenings (14, 15).
