Abstract
Un procedimiento que comprende polimerizar en un reactor de bucle un monómero olefínico, opcionalmente, junto con un comonómero olefínico en presencia de un catalizador de polimerización en un diluyente para producir una suspensión que comprende polímero olefínico en partículas sólidas y el diluyente, en el que el número de Froude se mantiene en o por debajo de 20, la caída de presión total en el reactor de bucle es de menos de 130 KPa (1,3 bar), la velocidad de producción de polímero es de más de 25 toneladas por hora y la concentración de sólidos de la suspensión en el reactor de bucle es de más del 20 % en volumen.
