Un conjunto de bomba de combustible de alta presión (1) para un motor de combustión interna, el conjunto de bomba (1) que comprende: un alojamiento de bomba (5), un rodillo seguidor (39) que se puede enganchar con una leva (41) proporcionado en un eje de transmisión giratorio (43); una zapata (19, 19', 19'') para movimiento alternativo de un émbolo de bomba de combustible (3); y una guía de zapata (21, 21', 21'') formada por un inserto cilíndrico (23) proporcionado en el alojamiento de la bomba (5) y que tiene una cara de guía (55a-f, 55'a-d) para guiar la zapata (19, 19', 19''); la zapata (19, 19', 19'') que tiene un lado superior (25) y un lado inferior (27), un rebaje de parte cilíndrica (37) que se forma en el lado inferior (27) de la zapata (19, 19', 19'') para cooperar con el rodillo seguidor (39); en donde al menos una abertura (57, 59, 59', 59'', 61, 63) se proporciona en la guía de zapata (21, 21', 21'') y/o la zapata (19, 19', 19'') para formar al menos un paso de fluido para mantener una comunicación fluida entre los lados superior (25) e inferior (27) de la zapata (19, 19', 19'') y donde la al menos una abertura (57, 59, 59', 59', 61, 63') comprende una sección cóncava formada en una pared lateral (29, 31, 33, 35, 29', 31', 33', 35', 29'', 31'', 33'', 35'') de la zapata (19, 19', 19'') y/o una pared interna (53, 53', 53'') de la guía de zapata (21, 21', 21'').
