Abstract

Procedimiento para el uso de un documento activable (1) con un número de documento (2) que ha de ser leíble por lo menos por una máquina, una marca óptica (3) con una identificación (7) leíble por una máquina y con un campo de memoria (4) dispuesto sobre el sustrato (6) para la recepción de un número de control (9) leíble por lo menos por una máquina, caracterizado porque para completar el documento (1) para formar un certificado de autenticidad (23), el número de control (9), como resultado de una operación criptográfica con por lo menos dos parámetros, el número del documento (2) y la identificación (7), y una primera clave secreta (10), se genera y se escribe en el campo de memoria (4) por primera vez en la puesta en circulación, y porque después de la puesta en circulación, la autenticidad del certificado de autenticidad (23) se comprueba por medio del número de control (9)leído del campo de memoria (4) y, por lo menos, de los parámetros de la operación criptográfica leídos del certificado de autenticidad (23) con la ayuda de una segunda clave (34) diferente de la primera.
