Abstract

The cleaner (10) has a distribution nozzle (15) for water and detergent and an orifice (14) for conventional vacuum cleaning which may take place simultaneously with or after the application of liquid. Water and detergent are stored in separate compartments (19a,19b) of a reservoir (19). After mixing, the water and detergent are driven by a pump (28) through a heater (29) which may heat or vaporise the mixture. Liquid may be evacuated to a recuperation tank (11) by a valve (36) if necessary and a decalcifier (32a,32b) is added upstream or downstream of the pump (28). Varying modes of operation may be chosen through a selector switch (30).
