characterised in that,A) for the deactivation of an individual strapping (for example Dv1),- the loop (S) for this strapping, said loop consisting of two strands (200a, b) that are joined together by a front connection (201), is automatically severed, in particular in its front region, at least once at at least one severing position (TP) that is positioned at the press channel (1) in such a way- that the two individual strands (200a, b) produced as a result of the severing each have an excess length (Üa, b) in a forward direction beyond the binding plane (A") which is sufficient to achieve that, when one strand (200a) is later transferred to the other strand (200b) along the binding plane (A"), the two strands (200a, b) reach one another again and can be automatically joined together,and,B) for the activation of an individual strapping (for example Uv1),- one strand (200a) is transferred to the other strand (200b) for this strapping along the binding plane (A") over a transfer distance (VS), and the two strands (200a, b) are automatically joined together again. - Method according to claim 1,
characterised in that
the excess lengths (Üa, b) are selected to be as short as possible. - Method according to any of the preceding claims,
characterised in that- the loop (S) is automatically severed twice, specifically at severing points (TS) which are situated opposite one another in relation to the knot (K),- and the severing is performed in particular at in each case one of two different severing positions (TP). - Method according to any of the preceding claims,wherein the knot (K) is generally situated at or in the vicinity of the front upper transverse edge of the bale (B),characterised in that,for the deactivation of an individual vertical strapping (for example Uv1),- the upper strand (200b) is severed at a first severing point (TS 1) in the longitudinal portion of said strand (200b).
- Method according to any of the preceding claims,
characterised in that,
for the deactivation of an individual vertical strapping (for example Uv1), the lower strand (200a) is severed at a second severing point (TS2) in the longitudinal portion of said strand (200a). - Method according to any of the preceding claims,
characterised in that- the at least one severing position (TP) is provided downstream, in particular directly downstream, of the end of the press channel (1) in a pushing-through direction (10),
and/or- all individual strappings of one strapping type, that is to say vertical or horizontal strapping, is performed simultaneously and/or at a severing position (TP) that is situated in the same severing plane for the particular strand (for example 200a, b). - Method according to any of the preceding claims,wherein the deactivation of one or more strappings is performed in response to a change in fraction of the material for pressing (P),characterised in thatthe severing of the strands of the at least one individual strapping (U) that is to be deactivated is performed on the loop (S) that leads around the front end of the first bale (B 1) of the new fraction.
- Method according to any of the preceding claims,
characterised in that- the excess length (Üa) of the strand (200a) that is to be transferred to the other strand (200b) prior to the knotting operation must be selected to correspond to at least twice the transfer distance (VS), that is to say including the connection allowance,
and/or- the excess length (Üb) of the strand (200b) that is not to be transferred across prior to the knotting operation must be selected to correspond to at least the connection allowance. - Baling press, in particular baling channel press, for producing a pressed and strapped bale (B) of loose material for pressing, wherein the baling press comprises:- a base frame (20),- a press chamber (21),- a press channel (1) adjoining the press chamber (21) in a flush manner in a pressing direction (10) and formed by channel walls (1a, b, c, d) which peripherally delimit the press channel (1) and which extend in the pressing direction (10),- a pressing plate (2) which is movable back and forth in and counter to the pressing direction (10) in the press chamber (21), in particular as far as into the start (1.1) of the press channel (1),- at least one feed unit (3a - d) for at least in each case one, in particular virtually endless, strand (100a, 200a) of a strapping medium (100, 200) for strapping the pressed bale (B) in at least a horizontal and/or a vertical strapping plane (Uv''),- at least one transverse transfer means (8.100, 8.200), in particular a drawing needle (305), for transferring one strand (100a, 200a) of the strapping medium (100, 200) in the horizontal (11) or vertical transverse direction (12) with respect to the pressing direction (10) through the cross section (1") of the press channel (1) to the other strand (100b, 200b),- at least one binding unit (7.1, 7.2) for connecting the free ends of two strands (100a, b, or 200a, b) or strand portions (100a1, 100b1 or 200a1, 200b1), including a severing unit for the simultaneous or prior severing of the two strands (100a, b, or 200a, b) or strand portions,- a controller (C) that controls all moving parts of the baling press,characterised in that
the baling press is designed to automatically activate and deactivate individual strappings, and in that the baling press has at least one severing device (TV1) for strapping medium at each activatable and deactivatable strapping plane (U"). - The baling press according to claim 9,
characterised in that
the baling press has two severing devices (TV1, TV2) for strapping medium (100, 200) at each activatable and deactivatable strapping plane (U"). - The baling press according to any of the preceding device claims,
characterised in that,- in the case of vertical strapping planes (Uv"), the severing position (TP) at which the first severing device is situated is situated in the longitudinal portion of said strand (200b), in particular of the upper strand (200b),- in particular is offset rearward, in particular is offset rearward to the least possible extent, from the front connection (201) counter to the pressing direction (10). - The baling press according to any of the preceding device claims,
characterised in that,
in the case of vertical strapping planes (Uv"), the severing position (TP) at which the second severing device is situated- is situated either in the longitudinal portion of said strand (200a), in particular of the lower strand (200a),- or directly behind the front connection (201) in the direction of the supply reel of said strand (200a). - The baling press according to any of the preceding device claims,
characterised in that- the first and/or the second severing device (TV1, TV2) is arranged in front of or in the end of the press channel (1) in the pressing direction (10),
and/or- the first severing devices (TV1) for one strapping type, on the one hand, and/or the second severing devices (TV2) for said strapping type, on the other hand, have only one common severing drive in each case. - The baling press according to any of the preceding device claims,
characterised in that- each individual severing device (TV) for each strand (100a, 100b, 200a, 200b) in a strapping plane (U") has a dedicated controllable severing drive,- and in particular, in the case of severing devices positioned in the same strapping plane (U") at the same severing position (TP) for the two strands in said strapping plane, said two severing devices have a common severing drive. - The baling press according to any of the preceding device claims,
characterised in that- the excess length (Üa) from the severing device (TV) for the strand (200a), which is to be transferred to the other strand (200b) prior to a connecting operation, to the binding plane (A") corresponds to at least twice the transfer distance (VS), that is to say including the connection allowance (VB),
and/or- the excess length (Üb) from the severing device for the strand (200b), which is not to be transferred across prior to a connecting operation, to the binding plane (A") corresponds at least to the connection allowance (VB).
