Definitions
- the invention relates to an insect screen door, comprising a rectangular sash frame made of several frame profiles, wherein a horizontally running rung profile extends between two vertical frame profiles, wherein the rung profile has a longitudinal groove undercut on at least one side.
- Such an insect screen door is usually installed as a front door in front of a door that is permanently installed in the building, for example a patio or balcony door. It usually comprises a rectangular sash frame that is made up of four frame profiles, usually mitred, usually extruded aluminum profiles, with the frame profiles being pressed together using appropriate connecting elements. Due to the height of the sash frame, a horizontal sash profile is usually provided between the two vertical frame profiles. Above and below the sash profile, insect screen fabrics are arranged in the remaining frame openings, which are usually fixed via a piping in a circumferential groove that is formed by corresponding, complementary grooves on the individual frame profiles and the sash profile.
- the sash frame itself is, for example, arranged in a mounting frame that is fixed to the building.
- the sash frame is pivotably mounted on this mounting frame.
- this can be a door that can only be pivoted to one side, meaning that it runs against a stop in the closed position.
- it can be a swing door, which means that the sash frame can swing to both sides through the mounting frame.
- the sash frame can also be attached to a frame of the door and pivotably mounted.
- the lattice profile which is located approximately halfway up the sash frame, has a longitudinal groove with an undercut on at least one side of the groove, whereby if such grooves are provided on both sides, they are arranged at an offset height to one another, and can therefore be recessed into the profile, which usually has a width of around 8 mm.
- the respective undercut also serves as a handle section that the operator can grasp in order to move the sash frame manually if necessary.
- such a frame In the closed position, such a frame can be easily secured using magnetic elements, for example, which are provided on the sash and the mounting or cover frame and which interact with each other in the closed position.
- magnetic elements for example, which are provided on the sash and the mounting or cover frame and which interact with each other in the closed position.
- the sash frame if the sash frame is slightly knocked or there is a strong draft of wind or something similar, the sash frame can open unintentionally.
- Insect screens for example, are made of DE 20 2005 020194 U1 , DE 297 15 699 U1 or UA20 162 637 A1
- An insect screen door according to the preamble of claim 1 is also known from "MHZ, insect protection 04/2017, pivoting frame for doors” as an insect screen door DT3 in the variant with sliding lock.
- the invention is therefore based on the problem of providing an improved insect screen door.
- the invention provides for an insect screen door of the type mentioned at the outset to accommodate a manually longitudinally displaceable slide with a locking element arranged thereon in the groove, which is designed as a handle groove and enables manual intervention to move the sash frame, and to be displaceable between a release position in which the locking element is disengaged from an element receptacle provided on an assembly or cover frame on which the sash frame is pivotally mounted in the assembly position, and a locking position in which the locking element engages in the element receptacle.
- the insect screen door is equipped with a locking device which enables the sash frame to be firmly locked to the assembly or cover frame in the closed position, so that the sash frame cannot can open unintentionally.
- a longitudinally displaceable slide is provided, which according to the invention is accommodated in the longitudinal groove, thus is positioned countersunk in the groove and is guided longitudinally displaceably in it.
- a locking element is connected to the slide, which the slide can also be moved linearly.
- the locking element on the sash frame side is assigned a corresponding element holder on the assembly or cover frame side, into which the locking element is inserted when it is moved from the release position to the locking position. This engagement ensures that the sash frame is securely locked in the assembly or cover frame.
- a groove is only provided on one side, it is expediently undercut on both sides so that the slide accommodated in it is fixed against falling out of the groove. If grooves are provided on both sides of the rung, then, as will be discussed later, a correspondingly geometrically designed slide is expediently used, which is inserted into both grooves, each of which is undercut on one side, whereby the slide is then fixed against falling out via the two respective undercuts.
- the slide Due to the fact that the slide is housed in the groove and is freely accessible from the rung side, the slide is very easy for the operator to move manually between the two positions, for which purpose a recess or something similar can be formed on the slide, for example, into which the operator can reach with his finger to move it. Operation is therefore extremely simple.
- Another particular advantage is that, due to the arrangement of the slide in the groove, the slide does not protrude, or only protrudes slightly, beyond the top of the sash bar. It is possible to accommodate the slide completely countersunk in the groove, or in such a way that it is essentially flush with the surface of the sash bar or protrudes only minimally by a few millimeters. In any case, this makes it possible to have an extremely narrow structure without the locking device protruding from the sash bar profile at all, or if it does, then not to any significant extent. This means that the sash frame does not increase in width, or only marginally, despite the integration of the locking device.
- the insect screen door can only be operated manually from one side via the handle groove, as can the locking device.
- a second groove running lengthways, undercut on at least one side is also provided on the other side of the rung in a further development of the invention, which runs at a height offset to the first groove, with the slide being accommodated with a first slide section in the first groove and with a second slide section in the second groove.
- the slide therefore has two slide sections, also arranged at a height offset, each of which engages in one of the grooves.
- the two grooves are expediently connected to one another via an elongated rung recess, which is almost like a slot, which recess extends from a front side adjoining the vertical frame profile into the rung profile, with the slide passing through the recess with a narrow connecting section connecting the two slide sections, to which, viewed in the sliding direction, a slide recess extending to the slide end opposite the front side adjoins.
- the grooves are therefore connected to one another via an elongated slot recess, which enables the slide with the two slide sections, which also has a corresponding recess, to be inserted and the two slide sections to be inserted into the respective grooves.
- the connecting section passes through the rung recess, so it is accommodated in this slot and runs in the slot when the carriage is moved.
- This insertion takes place, just as with only one groove on one side of the rung, from the front side of the rung profile, where one or both grooves are axially open so that the respective slide can be pushed in.
- the fixing to prevent it from falling out sideways is carried out by an undercut on both sides of the groove; in the case of two grooves and slide sections engaging in them, an undercut on just one side in the respective groove is sufficient to secure the slide with the two slide sections.
- the stop limit for the release position can be implemented via the two opposing ends of the rung and slide recesses, whereby the stop limit for the locking position can be a side surface of the vertical frame profile against which the slide runs in the locking position, or a stop element inserted in one or both grooves.
- This stop element which is fixed in position, can be, for example, a locking element which, as will be discussed below, serves to lock the slide in a corresponding position and with which the slide interacts with corresponding locking sections.
- a stop element can be provided on the slide body itself, with which it runs directly against the side surface of the vertical frame profile.
- the stop limit can be implemented, for example, by Groove is opened a short distance via a slot running in the longitudinal direction, wherein a projection on the slide engages in this slot, which in the release position strikes against the end of the slot, and which in the locking position runs against the side surface of the adjacent vertical frame profile, whereby alternatively the slide itself can of course also run against this side surface to limit the stop.
- locking means can be provided for locking the slide in the release and/or locking position.
- These locking means make it possible to easily fix the slide in the respective position so that it does not accidentally move slightly axially in the direction of the locking position due to centrifugal forces, for example when the sash frame is swung open when it is in the release position. This would result in the locking element also being moved axially and being pushed out of the sash frame slightly. When the sash frame is closed again, the locking element which has been pushed out slightly would then run against the mounting or cover frame, which could cause damage. Unintentional release of the locking position, i.e. when the sash frame is deliberately locked in the cover frame, is also undesirable. This could lead to unwanted opening and, for example, insects or other creatures getting through the insect screen door. All this is remedied if the locking means according to the invention are provided, which lock either the release position or the locking position or, preferably, both.
- the locking means comprise a first locking element which is fixed in position and is received in the one or both grooves, as well as at least one second locking element which is provided on the slide and which laterally overlaps the first locking element.
- a separate locking element is therefore provided which is inserted into the one or both grooves, also from the open rung face, and is fixed there.
- This first locking element interacts with at least one a second locking element provided on the slide side, which laterally overlaps the first locking element, i.e., viewed from the open groove side, it overlaps the first locking element.
- the second locking element is pushed over the first locking element, with the interaction of the two locking elements defining one or both locking positions.
- This lateral overlap allows for easy locking on the one hand, and on the other hand it also results in a visually appealing arrangement, since the slide, which preferably fills the entire groove, is only moved relative to and across the first locking element, which preferably also fills the groove, so that ultimately a visually appealing, compact unit is always produced.
- a second locking element that laterally overlaps the first locking element is provided on either one or, expediently, on both slide sections.
- the slide is locked at least via one interaction level between the two locking elements, but preferably via two, if a second locking element that overlaps the first locking element is provided on each of the two slide sections.
- a locking receptacle is expediently provided on the first locking element and a locking projection on the second locking element, or vice versa. After the second locking element laterally overlaps the first, the locking projection and the locking receptacle are provided on the side surfaces that are adjacent to one another, so that a simple locking connection can be achieved.
- the first locking element is preferably designed such that it engages in both grooves, i.e. that it has corresponding element sections that can be positioned in the grooves, wherein these element sections are connected to one another via a connecting section.
- the first locking element can expediently reach through the rung recess in a recess extension with the connecting section and be supported on the one hand on a shoulder of the recess extension and on the other hand on the side surface of the vertical frame profile.
- the slot-like recess through which the connecting section of the slide reaches is slightly widened in a short, front-side area so that a shoulder is formed.
- the first locking element rests on this shoulder with its connecting section, is therefore axially supported here and cannot move axially with the slide.
- the locking element ultimately rests on the side surface of the adjacent vertical frame profile so that it is securely fixed in the assembly position.
- the first locking element can also be glued into the groove(s).
- a first locking element i.e. a component separate from the slide, is used to lock the position.
- the locking means comprise at least one locking recess associated with the release position and/or at least one locking position, for example an embossing or the like, in the or each groove and a locking projection provided on the slide or one or each slide section, which engages in the respective locking recess in the release and/or locking position.
- the groove base is therefore provided with one or two locking recesses, for example by embossing or pressing in.
- a locking projection is formed on the slide, which can easily snap into the respective locking recess in the corresponding position.
- the slide is laterally fixed in the groove, which is undercut on one or both sides, and can therefore only move insignificantly relative to the groove base. This allows for a corresponding, easy locking fixation in the corresponding positions, while at the same time ensuring that the carriage, when it is moved from the respective locked position, is still movable on the undercut grooves despite the lateral guidance, and thus still sufficiently can slide, even if it is slightly tensioned against the bottom of the groove. In this case, no separate locking element is required.
- a locking element is provided on the slide, which is moved with it and can be moved from the sash frame towards the mounting or cover frame and back.
- the slide expediently has a corresponding holder in which the locking element is attached, whereby the locking element passes through a recess in the adjacent vertical frame profile.
- the locking element is pressed into the holder, alternatively it can also be glued in. It extends linearly away from the slide and passes through a corresponding recess in the vertical frame profile and of course, if provided and necessary, in the first locking element. In the release position it does not protrude or protrudes slightly from the frame profile, but only to the extent that it does not rest against the mounting or cover frame or engage in the element holder there. This only happens when the slide and thus the locking element are moved linearly.
- the locking element is expediently a bolt or a rod which passes through a corresponding bore in the vertical frame profile and, if applicable, a bore or opening in the first locking element.
- the movable carriage or each carriage section fills the groove almost positively.
- the carriage or each carriage section lies almost completely in the groove, i.e. the groove is almost completely filled by the carriage and consequently no significant slot or the like remains visible.
- the visually appealing impression can be further improved by the carriage or each carriage section having a flat visible surface. This means that the groove is then closed with a flat surface.
- the slide or each slide section can be accommodated in the groove deeper than the surface adjacent to the groove.
- the surface of the slide or the slide itself runs flush with the adjacent rung surface, which is particularly appealing when the slide or each slide section has a flat visible surface, as this results in a flush overall surface formed from the rung surface and the slide surface.
- this overhang should be a maximum of 4 mm, preferably less.
- a finger recess is preferably provided on the carriage or each carriage section, into which the operator can reach with his finger and over which the carriage can be moved.
- the slide and possibly the first locking element itself are preferably plastic components, preferably simple injection-molded components. On the one hand, this offers a simple and cost-effective manufacturing option, but on the other hand it also offers the possibility of producing the slide or the first locking element in any color, so that a visual contrast to the color of the sash frame can be created.
- a marking is provided in the or each groove, which is covered by the slide in the release position and exposed in the locking position.
- This marking for example a color-conspicuous dot, such as a red dot, can be used to make the corresponding locking position visually visible, so that the user can always find out about the respective locking state.
- the sash frame itself can only be swung out of the mounting or cover frame on one side or both sides. It is therefore either a simple insect screen door or a swing door.
- Fig.1 shows an insect screen door 1 according to the invention, comprising in the example shown a mounting frame 2 and a sash frame 4 pivotably mounted therein via corresponding hinge connections 3, which in the example shown can be pivoted out to both sides, thus representing a swing door.
- the mounting frame 2 consists of four mitred frame profiles 5, 6, 7, 8, which are fixed or pressed together in the area of the edges using corresponding connecting elements. In the assembly position, the mounting frame is fixed in position on the building side.
- the sash frame 4 also consists of four frame profiles 9, 10, 11, 12, which are mitred and connected to one another in the corner area via corresponding connecting elements, preferably pressed together.
- a horizontally running stiffening rung 13 and a sheet 14 filling in the lower area.
- a rung profile 15 which extends from one vertical frame profile 10 to the other vertical frame profile 12 and is in turn fixed to these via corresponding connecting elements.
- the open frame areas above and below the rung profile 15 are filled with corresponding insect protection fabrics 16, 17, each of which is fixed in a conventional manner via a piping which is provided in a corresponding circumferential groove on the frame profiles 9, 10, 12 as well as the connecting strut 13 and the rung profile 15.
- All frame and rung profiles etc. are usually metal extruded profiles, usually made of aluminum.
- the rung profile 15 has a longitudinal groove 18 on one side, which is undercut at one end 19, here the upper end.
- a groove 20 is also provided, which is however arranged at a different height to the first groove 18 and which is also undercut, here too at the upper end 21. Both grooves 18, 20 allow access by the operator, the operator can reach with his fingers under the undercut ends 19, 21 and actively move the sash. These are therefore grip grooves.
- a locking device 22 is provided, which is clearly accessible from both sides of the casement 4.
- the locking device 22 has a carriage 23, which has two carriage sections 24, 25, which are connected to one another, as will be discussed below, but one carriage section 24 is inserted into the groove 18, while the other carriage section 25 is inserted into the groove 20.
- a locking element 26, here in the form of a bolt or a rod which is firmly fixed in a corresponding receptacle on the carriage 23 and which engages through a corresponding recess 27 or hole in the vertical frame profile 10.
- the locking position is shown, in which the locking element 26 is pushed out of the frame profile 10 and the slide 23 is in the locking position. This is only for illustration purposes, since normally, when the sash frame 4 is swung open, the locking arrangement 22 is of course in the release position.
- a marking 58, 59 which indicates that the slide 23 is in the locking position.
- This marking 58, 59 can be, for example, a colored dot which is glued or painted on or the like. In the release position, the respective marking 58, 59 is covered by the slide 23.
- the Fig. 3 and 4 show a section of the insect screen door 1 according to the Fig.1 and 2 , whereby the mounting frame 2 is not shown in detail, but only a component 28 that is intended to symbolize the vertical frame profile 6 of the mounting frame 2, or that is arranged on it. In any case, an element holder 29 is shown here, into which the locking element 26 can engage in the locking position. Such or a similar component 28 would be attached to the sash frame 4 when it is stored on a frame.
- Fig.3 shows the release position in which the locking device 22 is located.
- the slide 23 is, in relation to the vertical frame profile 10 and compared with Fig.4 , into a release position to the right.
- the user can easily accomplish this movement by inserting a finger into a finger recess 30 formed on the slide 23.
- the slide 23 is locked to a first locking element 31, for which purpose a second locking element 32 is provided on it, which will be discussed in detail below. Both locking elements 31, 32 work together via a slight locking connection.
- the slide 23 is pushed to the left by engaging in the finger recess 30, which leads to the locking element 26 being extended and pushed through the locking receptacle 29. Since this is fixed in position on the mounting frame 2, the casement 4 is therefore firmly fixed in the mounting frame 2. If it is to be released again in order to swing it open, the slide 23 is pushed back to the right into the Fig.3 shown release position and the fixation is released. In the locking position, the slide 23 is also locked via the two locking elements 31, 32, again via a slight detent.
- the carriage 23 has, as stated, the two carriage sections 24, 25, which are accommodated on the two opposite sides of the rung profile 15 in the respective grooves 18 and 20. Viewed from the outside, the Fig. 3 and 4
- the only difference is that the corresponding height offset of the slide sections 24, 25 is present.
- Fig.5 shows a view according to Fig.3 , whereby the vertical frame profile 10 is not shown here. Shown is the carriage 23 with the carriage section 24, which in turn is Fig.3 in the release position.
- the first locking element 31 is accommodated in both the first groove 18 and the second groove 20. It therefore has corresponding sections 33, 34, which are connected to one another via a connecting web 35.
- the first locking element 31 is a separate component and is inserted separately from the slide 23. It is inserted by removing the slide 23 from the Fig.5 shown open front side 36 of the rung profile 15, after which the first locking element 31 is inserted. This has a recess 37 through which the locking element 26 engages.
- the first locking element 31 is, as already shown in the Fig. 3 and 4 show, is fixed in position, i.e. is not moved with the carriage 23.
- the first locking element 31 is preferably a simple plastic injection-molded part.
- Fig.6 now shows the locking device 22 or the slide 23 from the other side, i.e. looking at the second slide section 25. Shown is the finger recess 38 also provided on this side as well as a second locking element 39 also provided on this side, which interacts with the first locking element 31. This means that on both sides there is a corresponding, light locking fixation of the slide 23 in the release and locking positions.
- Fig.7 shows a top view of the front face 36 of the rung profile 15.
- first locking element 31 with the two sections 33, 34 and the recess 37 through which the locking element 26 engages. It can be seen that the two sections 33, 34 are connected to one another in one piece via the connecting web 35.
- the two sections 33, 34 are laterally overlapped by the second locking elements 32, 39, which are provided on the slide 23 and on the slide sections 24, 25 respectively.
- This overlap enables the formation of a simple, easy locking fixation by forming corresponding locking grooves and locking projections on the first locking element 31 and the second locking elements 32, 39, which snap into one another in the respective end positions and thus enable the fixation.
- the overlap ensures, see the Fig. 3 and 4 that, on both sides of the sash frame 4, an attractive exterior with a virtually closed surface is obtained, since the slide 23 passes almost directly onto the first locking element 31.
- the surface 41 of the first slide section 24 and the surface 42 of the second slide section 25 are flush with the respective surface 43, 44 of the rung profile 15.
- Fig.8 shows a partial view of the rung profile 15. Shown are the two grooves 18, 20 with the two undercut ends 19, 21.
- a slot-like rung recess 45 which extends axially from the front surface 36 and forms a stop 46 at its rear end, against which the slide 23 strikes to limit the stop, as will be discussed below.
- a recess extension 47 is provided in the front area, which is limited by a shoulder 48. This shoulder 48 serves as an insertion limit for the first locking part 31, which runs with its connecting section 35 against this shoulder 48 and is fixed in position in this direction. In the other direction, the fixing takes place via the vertical frame profile 10.
- the Figs. 9 and 10 show on the one hand the carriage 23 ( Fig.9 ) and on the other hand the first locking element 31 ( Fig.10 ).
- a side view of the carriage 23 is shown, showing the carriage section 24, whose surface 41 lies in the plane of the drawing.
- the second carriage section 25 is connected via a connecting section 49.
- the finger recess 30 is shown on the first slide section 24 and is formed in the direction of one end of the slide. At the opposite end there is a second locking element 32, on the underside of which a locking projection 50 is formed. This flat second locking element 32 overlaps the first locking element 31, as already described.
- a second locking element 39 is also formed on the second slide section 25, on which a locking projection 50 is also formed, which is visible here.
- This locking projection 50 also interacts with corresponding locking receptacles on the locking element 31 over which it engages, which will be discussed below.
- the slide 23 has a slide recess 51 which is positioned in such a way that it is inserted into the recess 45 of the rung profile 15. In the release position, the end 52 of the connecting section 49 runs against the stop 46 of the recess 45. The slide 23 is guided in the recess 45 by the connecting section 49.
- a slot-like recess 53 is also provided between the locking elements 32 and 39, which enables the two locking elements 32, 39 to be separated from one another to such an extent that they can accommodate the first locking element 31 between them.
- FIG.10 This is in Fig.10 shown. It is evident that it has visible locking receptacles 54 on one side in this illustration; on the opposite side, these locking receptacles 54 are not visible and are therefore only shown in dashed lines.
- the front locking receptacles 54 interact with the locking projection 50 of the locking element 32 on the slide section 24, the rear locking receptacles 54 interact with the locking projection 50 provided on the slide section 25.
- the position of the respective locking receptacles 54 viewed axially, is such that the locking receptacles 54 shown on the right in the figure define the release position and the locking receptacles 54 shown on the left define the locking position. In each position, a locking projection 50 snaps into one of the locking receptacles 54.
- the locking position is in turn defined or limited by the connecting section 49 after the connecting section 49 runs with the other end 55 against the fixed position first locking element 31.
- the slide 23 is shown on the one hand, and the first locking element 31 on the other. From the slide 23, the slide section 24 with its flat surface 41 and the grip recess 30 is shown towards the front, the second sliding section 25 is shown from the inside.
- the first locking element 31 has at the respective The visible sides of the sections 33 and 34 also have flat surfaces 56, 57, which accordingly correspond to the surfaces 41, 42 of the slide sections 24, 25.
- Fig. 11 shows the release position in which the slide 23 is displaced to the right by the fixed locking element 31.
- the two locking projections 50 of the second locking elements 32, 39 engage in the corresponding locking receptacle 54, the position is fixed by this.
- the slide 23 If the slide 23 is to be moved into the locking position, the user either reaches into the finger recess 30 or 38 and pushes the slide 23 from Fig. 11 to the left.
- the locking engagement of the locking projections 50 in the locking receptacles 54 is thereby released, the slide 23 is moved to the left until it is in the locking position according to Fig. 12 where the locking projections 50 snap back into the locking receptacles 54 and the slide 23 has run against the first locking element 31.
- the locking element 26 is pushed into the corresponding locking receptacle 29.
- the slide 23 can be pushed in the opposite direction in a simple manner.
- the embodiment described above shows a slide 23 consisting of two slide sections 24, 25, which means that this locking device 22 can be operated from both sides of the sash frame 4. If the locking device 22 is to be arranged on only one side, for example because the sash profile 15 only has a longitudinal groove on one side, this longitudinal groove is expediently designed to be undercut on both sides. The basic principle, however, remains the same. In this case too, the slide 23 is pushed into this longitudinal groove and is fixed via the two groove shoulders. The axial displacement limitation can again be achieved by a suitably placed slot into which a slide projection engages. A first locking element can also be used here, which locks the door in the corresponding positions.

Description
The invention relates to an insect screen door, comprising a rectangular sash frame made of several frame profiles, wherein a horizontally running rung profile extends between two vertical frame profiles, wherein the rung profile has a longitudinal groove undercut on at least one side.
Such an insect screen door is usually installed as a front door in front of a door that is permanently installed in the building, for example a patio or balcony door.
The sash frame itself is, for example, arranged in a mounting frame that is fixed to the building. The sash frame is pivotably mounted on this mounting frame. In the case of an insect screen door, this can be a door that can only be pivoted to one side, meaning that it runs against a stop in the closed position. Alternatively, it can be a swing door, which means that the sash frame can swing to both sides through the mounting frame. Alternatively, the sash frame can also be attached to a frame of the door and pivotably mounted.
The lattice profile, which is located approximately halfway up the sash frame, has a longitudinal groove with an undercut on at least one side of the groove, whereby if such grooves are provided on both sides, they are arranged at an offset height to one another, and can therefore be recessed into the profile, which usually has a width of around 8 mm. The respective undercut also serves as a handle section that the operator can grasp in order to move the sash frame manually if necessary.
In the closed position, such a frame can be easily secured using magnetic elements, for example, which are provided on the sash and the mounting or cover frame and which interact with each other in the closed position. However, if the sash frame is slightly knocked or there is a strong draft of wind or something similar, the sash frame can open unintentionally.

The invention is therefore based on the problem of providing an improved insect screen door.
The invention is defined by an insect screen door according to
To solve this problem, the invention provides for an insect screen door of the type mentioned at the outset to accommodate a manually longitudinally displaceable slide with a locking element arranged thereon in the groove, which is designed as a handle groove and enables manual intervention to move the sash frame, and to be displaceable between a release position in which the locking element is disengaged from an element receptacle provided on an assembly or cover frame on which the sash frame is pivotally mounted in the assembly position, and a locking position in which the locking element engages in the element receptacle. According to the invention, the insect screen door is equipped with a locking device which enables the sash frame to be firmly locked to the assembly or cover frame in the closed position, so that the sash frame cannot can open unintentionally. For this purpose, a longitudinally displaceable slide is provided, which according to the invention is accommodated in the longitudinal groove, thus is positioned countersunk in the groove and is guided longitudinally displaceably in it. A locking element is connected to the slide, which the slide can also be moved linearly. The locking element on the sash frame side is assigned a corresponding element holder on the assembly or cover frame side, into which the locking element is inserted when it is moved from the release position to the locking position. This engagement ensures that the sash frame is securely locked in the assembly or cover frame.
If such a groove is only provided on one side, it is expediently undercut on both sides so that the slide accommodated in it is fixed against falling out of the groove. If grooves are provided on both sides of the rung, then, as will be discussed later, a correspondingly geometrically designed slide is expediently used, which is inserted into both grooves, each of which is undercut on one side, whereby the slide is then fixed against falling out via the two respective undercuts.
Due to the fact that the slide is housed in the groove and is freely accessible from the rung side, the slide is very easy for the operator to move manually between the two positions, for which purpose a recess or something similar can be formed on the slide, for example, into which the operator can reach with his finger to move it. Operation is therefore extremely simple.
Another particular advantage is that, due to the arrangement of the slide in the groove, the slide does not protrude, or only protrudes slightly, beyond the top of the sash bar. This means that the sash frame does not increase in width, or only marginally, despite the integration of the locking device. is therefore still extremely narrow and, if the slide is fully integrated or flush, only has the depth of the rungs in this area. This in turn offers the particular advantage of being able to mount the sash frame on doors where a roller blind that can be moved vertically in front of the closed insect screen door moves very close to the insect screen door. This distance is often only a few millimeters, so that the integration of a locking device with, for example, buttons that protrude from the side of the rung profile and which have to be manually operated is not possible. The insect screen door according to the invention with the slide integrated in the groove now provides a solution here.
As described, it is conceivable to provide a groove on only one side of the rung and to integrate the slide there. In this case, the insect screen door can only be operated manually from one side via the handle groove, as can the locking device. If operation is to be possible from both sides, a second groove running lengthways, undercut on at least one side, is also provided on the other side of the rung in a further development of the invention, which runs at a height offset to the first groove, with the slide being accommodated with a first slide section in the first groove and with a second slide section in the second groove. The slide therefore has two slide sections, also arranged at a height offset, each of which engages in one of the grooves. The two grooves are expediently connected to one another via an elongated rung recess, which is almost like a slot, which recess extends from a front side adjoining the vertical frame profile into the rung profile, with the slide passing through the recess with a narrow connecting section connecting the two slide sections, to which, viewed in the sliding direction, a slide recess extending to the slide end opposite the front side adjoins. The grooves are therefore connected to one another via an elongated slot recess, which enables the slide with the two slide sections, which also has a corresponding recess, to be inserted and the two slide sections to be inserted into the respective grooves. The connecting section passes through the rung recess, so it is accommodated in this slot and runs in the slot when the carriage is moved.
This insertion takes place, just as with only one groove on one side of the rung, from the front side of the rung profile, where one or both grooves are axially open so that the respective slide can be pushed in. In the case of only one groove, the fixing to prevent it from falling out sideways is carried out by an undercut on both sides of the groove; in the case of two grooves and slide sections engaging in them, an undercut on just one side in the respective groove is sufficient to secure the slide with the two slide sections.
It is expedient to provide a stop limit for the sliding movement into both the release and locking positions, which ensures that the slide, regardless of whether it is provided on one side or both sides, can only be moved between these two positions.
If a quasi double-sided slide with the two slide sections is provided, the stop limit for the release position can be implemented via the two opposing ends of the rung and slide recesses, whereby the stop limit for the locking position can be a side surface of the vertical frame profile against which the slide runs in the locking position, or a stop element inserted in one or both grooves. This stop element, which is fixed in position, can be, for example, a locking element which, as will be discussed below, serves to lock the slide in a corresponding position and with which the slide interacts with corresponding locking sections. Alternatively, a stop element can be provided on the slide body itself, with which it runs directly against the side surface of the vertical frame profile.
If only a one-sided groove and therefore only a single slide is provided, the stop limit can be implemented, for example, by Groove is opened a short distance via a slot running in the longitudinal direction, wherein a projection on the slide engages in this slot, which in the release position strikes against the end of the slot, and which in the locking position runs against the side surface of the adjacent vertical frame profile, whereby alternatively the slide itself can of course also run against this side surface to limit the stop.
In an expedient development of the invention, locking means can be provided for locking the slide in the release and/or locking position. These locking means make it possible to easily fix the slide in the respective position so that it does not accidentally move slightly axially in the direction of the locking position due to centrifugal forces, for example when the sash frame is swung open when it is in the release position.
In a further development of this variant of the invention, it can be provided that the locking means comprise a first locking element which is fixed in position and is received in the one or both grooves, as well as at least one second locking element which is provided on the slide and which laterally overlaps the first locking element. A separate locking element is therefore provided which is inserted into the one or both grooves, also from the open rung face, and is fixed there. This first locking element interacts with at least one a second locking element provided on the slide side, which laterally overlaps the first locking element, i.e., viewed from the open groove side, it overlaps the first locking element. When the slide is moved, the second locking element is pushed over the first locking element, with the interaction of the two locking elements defining one or both locking positions. This lateral overlap allows for easy locking on the one hand, and on the other hand it also results in a visually appealing arrangement, since the slide, which preferably fills the entire groove, is only moved relative to and across the first locking element, which preferably also fills the groove, so that ultimately a visually appealing, compact unit is always produced.
In the event that two slide sections are provided on the slide, a second locking element that laterally overlaps the first locking element is provided on either one or, expediently, on both slide sections. This means that in this case the slide is locked at least via one interaction level between the two locking elements, but preferably via two, if a second locking element that overlaps the first locking element is provided on each of the two slide sections.
For simple locking, a locking receptacle is expediently provided on the first locking element and a locking projection on the second locking element, or vice versa. After the second locking element laterally overlaps the first, the locking projection and the locking receptacle are provided on the side surfaces that are adjacent to one another, so that a simple locking connection can be achieved.
If two grooves are provided, the first locking element is preferably designed such that it engages in both grooves, i.e. that it has corresponding element sections that can be positioned in the grooves, wherein these element sections are connected to one another via a connecting section. In order to fix the first locking element axially so that it does not interfere with the If the slide is moved from the locking position to the release position, the first locking element can expediently reach through the rung recess in a recess extension with the connecting section and be supported on the one hand on a shoulder of the recess extension and on the other hand on the side surface of the vertical frame profile. The slot-like recess through which the connecting section of the slide reaches is slightly widened in a short, front-side area so that a shoulder is formed. The first locking element rests on this shoulder with its connecting section, is therefore axially supported here and cannot move axially with the slide. On the opposite side, the locking element ultimately rests on the side surface of the adjacent vertical frame profile so that it is securely fixed in the assembly position. Alternatively or additionally, the first locking element can also be glued into the groove(s).
In diesem Fall ist also kein separates Arretierelement vorzusehen. In the embodiment described above, a first locking element, i.e. a component separate from the slide, is used to lock the position. Alternatively, it is conceivable that the locking means comprise at least one locking recess associated with the release position and/or at least one locking position, for example an embossing or the like, in the or each groove and a locking projection provided on the slide or one or each slide section, which engages in the respective locking recess in the release and/or locking position. In this very simple embodiment of the invention, the groove base is therefore provided with one or two locking recesses, for example by embossing or pressing in. A locking projection is formed on the slide, which can easily snap into the respective locking recess in the corresponding position. The slide is laterally fixed in the groove, which is undercut on one or both sides, and can therefore only move insignificantly relative to the groove base.
As described, a locking element is provided on the slide, which is moved with it and can be moved from the sash frame towards the mounting or cover frame and back. In order to fix the locking element to the slide, the slide expediently has a corresponding holder in which the locking element is attached, whereby the locking element passes through a recess in the adjacent vertical frame profile. The locking element is pressed into the holder, alternatively it can also be glued in.
The locking element is expediently a bolt or a rod which passes through a corresponding bore in the vertical frame profile and, if applicable, a bore or opening in the first locking element.
According to an expedient development of the invention, it can be provided that the movable carriage or each carriage section fills the groove almost positively. This means that the carriage or each carriage section lies almost completely in the groove, i.e. the groove is almost completely filled by the carriage and consequently no significant slot or the like remains visible. The visually appealing impression can be further improved by the carriage or each carriage section having a flat visible surface. This means that the groove is then closed with a flat surface.
As described, the slide or each slide section can be accommodated in the groove deeper than the surface adjacent to the groove. However, it is particularly preferred that the surface of the slide or the slide itself runs flush with the adjacent rung surface, which is particularly appealing when the slide or each slide section has a flat visible surface, as this results in a flush overall surface formed from the rung surface and the slide surface. In the event that the slide protrudes slightly from the surface when using an extremely narrow rung profile, this overhang should be a maximum of 4 mm, preferably less.
To make it easy to move the carriage between the two positions, a finger recess is preferably provided on the carriage or each carriage section, into which the operator can reach with his finger and over which the carriage can be moved.
The slide and possibly the first locking element itself are preferably plastic components, preferably simple injection-molded components. On the one hand, this offers a simple and cost-effective manufacturing option, but on the other hand it also offers the possibility of producing the slide or the first locking element in any color, so that a visual contrast to the color of the sash frame can be created.
Finally, it is conceivable that a marking is provided in the or each groove, which is covered by the slide in the release position and exposed in the locking position. This marking, for example a color-conspicuous dot, such as a red dot, can be used to make the corresponding locking position visually visible, so that the user can always find out about the respective locking state.
The sash frame itself can only be swung out of the mounting or cover frame on one side or both sides. It is therefore either a simple insect screen door or a swing door.

The mounting
The
