Claims (10)

  1. Applicator (1) for applying cosmetic material, with a wedge-shaped support body (2) provided with a covering (3), wherein:
    - the support body (2) has a front face (5), a rear face (6) and two side faces (7);
    - the front face (5) and the rear face (6) each have a plane surface part (8);
    - the plane surface parts (8) are configured with mirror symmetry to each other; and
    - the two surface parts (8) each have an outer edge in the form of a figure-of-eight curve,
    characterized in that the covering is composed of flock fibres and a depression (12) is formed inside the plane surface part.
  2. Applicator according to Claim 1, wherein the figure- of-eight curve has a first arch-shaped end region (9) facing towards the pointed end of the support body, a narrowed middle region (10), and a second arch-shaped end region (11) facing towards the broad end of the support body.
  3. Applicator according to Claim 2, wherein the first end region (9) of the figure-of-eight curve is shaped as a circular arch and the second end region (11) of the figure-of-eight curve is shaped as an oval arch.

  6. Applicator according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the depression (12) has a plane base surface running parallel to the plane surface part (8).
  7. Applicator according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the depression (12) is formed in the region of the plane surface part (8) facing towards the pointed end of the support body (2).
  8. Applicator according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the depression (12) has the shape of a circle.
  9. Applicator according to one of the preceding claims, wherein a connection element (4) for connecting the support body (2) to a holder or stem is formed at the broad end of the support body (2).
  10. Applicator according to one of the preceding claims, wherein at least one subregion with pressed-down flock fibres and at least one subregion with raised flock fibres are present on the plane surface part (8).
