- A high-adherence reinforcing bar (2) for reinforced concrete, comprising:- an extension portion (3) including, on its outer surface, catching protrusions (6, 7) intended to promote the adherence between the reinforcing bar and the concrete,- an upset end portion (4) provided with a threading (8) intended to cooperate with a tapping (12) arranged in a connection sleeve (11), the root-diameter of the threading (8) being greater than or equal to the nominal diameter of the reinforcing bar, and the upset end portion (4) includes a first part (41) substantially cylindrical, and at least one second part (42) disposed between the first part and the extension portion, the second part (42) having a general section decreasing towards the extension portion, characterized in that the second part (42) has a length greater than or equal to the length of the first part (41).
- The reinforcing bar according to claim 1, wherein the second part (42) of the upset end portion (4) has a length greater than or equal to the nominal diameter of the reinforcing bar.
- The reinforcing bar according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the second part (42) of the upset end portion (4) includes at least a first substantially frustoconical portion having its largest base facing the first part (41) of the upset end portion (4), and a second substantially frustoconical portion disposed between the first substantially frustoconical portion and the extension portion, the second substantially frustoconical portion having its largest base facing the first substantially frustoconical portion.
- The reinforcing bar according to claim 3, wherein the second substantially frustoconical portion has a length greater than or equal to the length of the first substantially frustoconical portion.
- An assembly for reinforcement for reinforced concrete, comprising a reinforcing bar (2) according to any of claims 1 to 4, and a connection sleeve (11) including a tapping (12) arranged to cooperate with the threading (8) provided on the upset end portion (4).
- The assembly according to claim 5, wherein the upset end portion (4) has a length greater than or substantially equal to the longitudinal length of the tapping (12) provided on the connection sleeve (11).
- The assembly according to claim 5 or 6, which further comprises a stop nut (15) intended to cooperate, on the one hand, with the threading (8) provided on the upset end portion (4) and, on the other hand, with the connection sleeve (11).
- The assembly according to claim 7, wherein the upset end portion (4) has a length greater than or substantially equal to the sum of the longitudinal length of the tapping (12) provided on the connection sleeve (11) and of the height of the stop nut (15).
- A method for assembling a reinforcement for reinforced concrete, comprising the following steps:- providing a first and a second reinforcing bars (2, 2') according to any of claims 1 to 4, the first and the second reinforcing bars (2, 2') each comprising an upset end portion (4) and an opposite end portion (10) located opposite to the upset end portion (4) and provided with a threading (11),- providing a connection sleeve (12) including a tapping (13) arranged to cooperate with the threadings (8, 11) provided on the end portions (4, 10) of the first and second reinforcing bars,- screwing the connection sleeve (12) on the upset end portion (4) of the second reinforcing bar (2'),- abutting the upset end portion (4) of the second reinforcing bar (2') against the opposite end portion (10) of the first reinforcing bar (2),- driving in rotation the connection sleeve (12) relative to the second reinforcing bar (2') so that the tapping (13) of the connection sleeve (12) cooperates with the opposite end portion (10) of the first reinforcing bar (2').
- The assembling method according to claim 9, which further comprises:- a step carried out prior to the screwing of the connection sleeve (12) on the upset end portion (4) of the second reinforcing bar (2') and consisting of screwing a stop nut (16) on the upset end portion (4) of the second reinforcing bar (2'), and- a step carried out after the step of driving in rotation the connection sleeve (12) and consisting of driving in rotation the stop nut (16) relative to the second reinforcing bar (2') until the stop nut abuts against the connection sleeve (12).
- A method of manufacturing a high-adherence reinforcing bar for reinforced concrete according to any of claims 1 to 4, comprising the following steps:- providing a reinforcing element (2) comprising an extension portion (3) provided, on its outer surface, with catching protrusions (6, 7), and an end portion,- cold-upsetting the end portion so as to form a first part (41') substantially cylindrical, and at least one second part (42') disposed between the first part and the extension portion, the second part (42') having a general section decreasing towards the extension portion, the second part (42') having a length greater than or equal to the length of the first part (41'),- arranging on the end portion a threading having a root-diameter greater than or equal to the nominal diameter of the reinforcing element.
- The manufacturing method according to claim 11, wherein the upsetting step is carried out at variable speed.
