Dabei ist die Steuerung mit einer Brandmeldezentrale oder einem Rauchmelder 7 verbunden, wobei die Steuerung das Signal der Meldeeinrichtung über einen Hauptrechner 3 und/oder einen Kontrollrechner 4 ausgewertet werden, der/die unabhängig vom eingestellten und programmierten Zustand der/die Automatiktür/en über die Steuerung unmittelbar die Schließbewegung der oder des Türflügels bewirken, um auf diese Weise die Automatiktür als Brandschutztür oder als Brandschott zu nutzen.

Claims (8)
- An automatic door, in particular a sliding door, a revolving door, or the like, comprising:- at least one door leaf,- a control system,- a drive unit, and- presence-detecting sensors (8), which are provided on an interior portion and/or an exterior portion of the automatic door,wherein the drive unit is controllable via the control system, such that the door leaf is operable via the drive unit, wherein a passage area of the automatic door can be monitored via the presence-detecting sensors (8), and wherein the control system can be connected to a signal unit, such as a central fire alarm system or a smoke detector (7), characterized in that the control system includes a main computer (3) and a control computer (4), that the drive unit includes a first motor (1) and a second motor (2), and that the control system comprises a motor output stage (5) and a backup stage (6), wherein the backup stage (6) provides redundancy for the motor output stage (5), and wherein a signal from the signal unit can be evaluated via the control system using the main computer (3) or the control computer (4), such that the control system can directly initiate a closing movement of the door leaf, for example in case of fire, independently of a preset and programmed status of the automatic door.
- A method for operating the automatic door according to Claim 1, characterized in that the closing movement is executed when a signal from the signal unit is present while considering the presence-detecting sensors, wherein the closing movement is executed at normal speed when the presence-detecting sensors are not triggered and the closing movement is executed at low speed when the presence-detecting sensors are triggered, such that any hazard to persons is precluded.
- A method for operating an automatic door according to Claim 1, characterized in that the presence-detecting sensor are ignored when a signal from the signal unit is present and that the closing movement is executed at low speed and that power is cut off based on motor current detection, such that any hazard to persons is precluded.
- The method according to Claim 2 or 3, characterized in that, following a closing movement to a closed state of the door leaf, the automatic door automatically locks said door leaf, either mechanically or electrically, such that the automatic door cannot be pushed open.

- The method according to Claims 2 to 6, characterized in that the closing movement of the automatic door is executed via an emergency power circuit (12) in case of failure of the power supply to the automatic door, said emergency power circuit (12) being fed by an electrical energy storage device (11), for example.
