Die Tür 1 ist mittels eines Scharniers 2 schwenkbar an dem Wäschetrockner gelagert. Sie besitzt einen Schließkloben 3, der in ein am Trockner angeordnetes Türschloss (nicht dargestellt) eingreift und über den die Tür 1 in der Verschlussposition gehalten wird. Scharnier 2 und Schließkloben 3 sind an einem Türträgerring 4 befestigt. An dem Türträgerring 4 sind außerdem Türblendringe, nämlich an der nach außen gerichteten Vorderseite eine Türaußenblende 5 und an der zum Trommelinneren gerichteten Rückseite eine Türinnenblende 6 angeordnet. Die Türinnenblende 6 trägt, wie in der Figur 1 erkennbar ist, ein topfförmiges Türschauglas 61. Zumindest die Türaußenblende 5 ist mittels radial angeordneten Verrastungen an dem Türträgerring 4 festgelegt. Die Figuren 2 und 3 zeigen die Herstellung der Verrastungen, Figur 4 eine Verrastung im Rastzustand. Die Verrastungen werden nach Art eines Bajonettverschlusses erzeugt, der zwischen dem ringartigen Türträgerring 4 und der Türaußenblende 5 angeordnet ist. Zur Sicherung des Bajonettverschlusses weist der Federsteg 41 eine Vertiefung 42 auf, die mit einem am Klemmsteg10 angeordneten Nocken 52 zusammenwirkt. Dies ist beispielsweise aus den Figuren 2 und 3 zu erkennen, wo der Nocken 52 sich unterhalb des Klemmstegs 51 erstreckt, und der Federsteg 41 sich mit seiner Vertiefung 42 unterhalb des Klemmstegs 51 mit seinem Nocken 52 schiebt, so dass sich dadurch die Verrasterung, wie dies in der Figur 4 gezeigt ist, ergibt. Dadurch ergibt sich ein Selbsthalteeffekt bei der erfindungsgemäßen Verrastung des Bajonettverschlusses. Dabei sind der Federsteg 41 und der Federsteg 51 bei einer 3°-Drehung der Türaußenblende 5 am Türträgerring 4 in eine parallele verrastende Verschlusslage bringbar. Wie insbesondere aus den Figuren 3 und 4 erkennbar ist, ist an dem Federsteg 51 ein Sperrsteg 53 zur Begrenzung der Verschlussdrehung vorgesehen.
