Definitions
- the invention relates to a climbing aid for assembly work on poles or posts, for example, for the installation of traffic signs on poles or posts.
- Road signs must be mounted on poles or posts usually at a height that exceeds the reach of a man. Therefore, a ladder is required for the assembly, which, if it is based on a stand-alone mast, has only a low stability, so that additional security measures are required.
- a climbing aid for the assembly of traffic signs on poles in which a pair of arms with different pitch emanate from one step, one of which carries a claw, which is shaped so that it can wrap the pole on an arc of at least 180 °, and the other carries a U-shaped bracket for grasping the mast.
- the claw jams on the mast, so that the climbing aid is held self-locking on the mast.
- the object of the invention is to provide a novel climbing aid that makes installation work on poles or posts safer.
- a climbing aid with a kick and with a holding device for at least partially encompassing a mast or post wherein the holding device has a guide mechanism for kicking in the manner of a parallelogram with two arranged at different heights links, and wherein the guide mechanism with a clamping cam of the holding device is coupled for clamping the mast or post.
- the climbing aid can be easily attached to the desired height on the mast or post by being applied at the desired height on the mast, that the holding device engages around the mast. If then the tread is loaded, it can be applied on the clamping cam a large clamping force with which the climbing aid safely on the mast is held.
- a horizontal orientation of the foot can be maintained by the guide mechanism in the manner of a parallelogram.
- the guide mechanism can thus not only avoid an undesirable change in inclination of the footstep under load, but it can also implement by a lever action a downward load of the footstep in a contact force of the clamping cam. The user can therefore step on the stairs and then has a secure footing, so that he can easily mount a road sign.
- At least one of the links on a clamping cam of the holding device is directly causes a rotation of the clamping cam about the respective pivot axis of the handlebar.
- a section of a mast 10 is shown, on which in a not shown, higher-lying section a road sign is to be mounted. So that the fitter is easily reached the mounting position on the mast, a climbing aid 12 is releasably attached further down the mast, for example, at a height of about 20 to 80 cm above the ground.
- the climbing aid has a step 14, which is formed by two parallel, interconnected by a web 16 skirting 18.
- the distance between the two baseboards 18 is for example of the order of 20 cm, so that a user with his feet can safely stand on the step 14.
- From one end of the step 14 extends in extension of the web 16, an arm 20 whose free end is guided via a guide mechanism 22 in the form of a parallelogram on a retaining clip 24.
- the guide mechanism comprises two different height arranged parallel links 26, which in the position of use are oriented approximately horizontally, and a first, fixedly connected to the free end of the arm 20 connector 28 and a second connector 30, which extends through a vertically extending portion the retaining clip 24 is formed.
- the first and second connectors 28, 30 are each pivotally connected to the links 26 and parallel to each other. When pivoting the links 26 relative to the connectors 28, 30, the connectors 28, 30 remain parallel to each other.
- the retaining clip 24 on the side facing the tread 14 forms the second connector 30 connecting the links 26, it has a clamping jaw 32 on the side facing away from the tread 14.
- the retaining clip 24 is formed integrally with the connector 30 and the jaw 32 by an angled sheet metal.
- the links 26 are via spacers 34 ( Fig. 2 ) are mounted laterally spaced from a base 36 of the retaining clip 24, so that they face the jaw center. Between the tread 14 remote from the ends of the handlebar 26 and the jaw 32, a nip for grasping the mast 10 is formed. The nip is limited laterally from the base 36, for example.
- the clamping jaw 32 forms a recess adapted to the circumference of the mast by an inwardly bent end of the clamping jaw 32 in the direction of the clamping gap or bent.
- the handlebars 26 each form at their free, the jaw 32 opposite end of a clamping cam 38.
- the clamping cam 38 is directed below the connecting axis of the handlebar 26 with the second connector 30 downwards, so that a downward movement of the first connector 28 causes the Clamp cam 38 are pivoted in the direction of the jaws 32 and the nip for the mast 10 is narrowed.
- mounted position of the climbing aid 12 causes the downward directed weight of a person standing on the kick 14 user an increase in the pressing force of the clamping cam 38 against the pinched on the retaining clip 24 mast 10.
- the entire climbing aid 12 is held self-locking on the mast 10, so that the user in the position in which he mount the shield, have a secure footing and no ladder needs to lean on the mast.
- the retaining clip 24 thus forms, together with the clamping cams 38 of the handlebars 26, a holding device for clamping the mast 10.
- the clamping gap for the mast 10 is limited directly by the clamping cams 38 and the opposing clamping jaw 32.
- the clamping cam 38 are integrally formed with the respective links 26, a particularly robust construction results.
- the baseboards 28 are designed to improve slip resistance, for example, as Riffelbleche or perforated plates.
- the step 14 is connected to the first connector 28 via a second arm 40 for increased stability.
- a handle 42 is also attached for easier handling.
- a suitably constructed climbing aid can also be used for other assembly work on poles or posts, for example, for assembly work on signal systems, also referred to as traffic lights, or on street lighting.
- the diameter of the clamping gap is preferably adapted to the diameter of the mast or post, such as by adjusting the retaining clip 24 and / or the spacers 34th

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a climbing aid for assembly work on poles or posts, for example, for the installation of traffic signs on poles or posts.
Road signs must be mounted on poles or posts usually at a height that exceeds the reach of a man. Therefore, a ladder is required for the assembly, which, if it is based on a stand-alone mast, has only a low stability, so that additional security measures are required.
The object of the invention is to provide a novel climbing aid that makes installation work on poles or posts safer.
This object is achieved by a climbing aid with a kick and with a holding device for at least partially encompassing a mast or post, wherein the holding device has a guide mechanism for kicking in the manner of a parallelogram with two arranged at different heights links, and wherein the guide mechanism with a clamping cam of the holding device is coupled for clamping the mast or post.
The climbing aid can be easily attached to the desired height on the mast or post by being applied at the desired height on the mast, that the holding device engages around the mast. If then the tread is loaded, it can be applied on the clamping cam a large clamping force with which the climbing aid safely on the mast is held. At the same time, for example, a horizontal orientation of the foot can be maintained by the guide mechanism in the manner of a parallelogram. The guide mechanism can thus not only avoid an undesirable change in inclination of the footstep under load, but it can also implement by a lever action a downward load of the footstep in a contact force of the clamping cam. The user can therefore step on the stairs and then has a secure footing, so that he can easily mount a road sign.
Advantageous embodiments of the invention are specified in the subclaims.
Preferably, at least one of the links on a clamping cam of the holding device. A pivoting movement of the link thus directly causes a rotation of the clamping cam about the respective pivot axis of the handlebar.
In the following an embodiment will be explained in more detail with reference to the drawing.

The climbing aid has a
The guide mechanism comprises two different height arranged
While the retaining

The retaining
