Durch die unterschiedliche Einstellung der Dampfbremswirkung der einen und der anderen Schmalseite ist eine eindeutige Diffusionsrichtung angegeben, nämlich von der Seite höherer Dampfbremswirkung zur Seite demgegenüber geringerer Dampfbremswirkung. Ein derart eingestellter Dichtstreifen kann bei entsprechender Anordnung sowohl die Funktion eines rauminnenseitigen als auch die eines raumaußenseitig angeordneten Streifens übernehmen. Die definierte Diffusionsrichtung ermöglicht dies. Der Dichtstreifen erstreckt sich hierbei bevorzugt über annähernd die gesamte Stärke des Fensterrahmens, wobei weiter der Dichtstreifen bei einer Anordnung an den Fensterrahmen, bspw. durch Verklebung zunächst in einer rückgestellten, komprimierten Lage gehalten ist, welche Komprimierung bspw. durch Aufreißen einer Umhüllungsfolie freigegeben wird. Der Dichtstreifen kann hierbei imprägniert sein derart, dass hieraus eine verzögerte Rückstellung resultiert. - Foam sealing strip (1) according to one of claims 1 or 3, characterised in that the additional foamed material (11) consists of the same material as the other foamed material strip.
- Foam sealing strip (1) according to one of claims 1, 3 or 4, characterised in that the additional foamed material (11) is present in strip form, with a narrow edge (12) which faces the narrow side (5) of the foam sealing strip (1) and runs in the plane of the narrow side (5) of the foam sealing strip (1) on the room inside, wherein the additional foamed material (11) is arranged in the corner region between a narrow side (5) on the room inside and the wide side (2) of the foam sealing strip (1) facing the window frame (6), wherein the wide cheek (13) of the additional foamed material (11) running perpendicularly to the narrow edge (12) extends in the plane of the sealing strip wide side (2).
- Foam sealing strip (1) according to any of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the region of the foamed material defining the vapour barrier effect on the room inside has a water vapour diffusion resistance value (Sd value) which corresponds to 2 to 150 times the water vapour diffusion resistance value of the region defining the vapour barrier effect on the room outside.
- Foam sealing strip (1) according to claim 6, characterised in that the water vapour diffusion resistance of the region defining the vapour barrier effect on the room outside is between 0.1 and 10 m.
- Foam sealing strip (1) according to claim 2, characterised in that the solid bar (14) is a plastic bar (14).
- Foam sealing strip (1) according to claim 2, characterised in that the solid bar (14) is profiled such that different profile heights result when viewed over the extent of the wide side (2).
- Window frame (6) inserted in a window reveal (7) of a house or prepared for installation, wherein the window frame (6) is sealed against a reveal (7) or a reveal element (16) by means of a foam sealing strip (1) according to any of claims 1 to 9 such that a higher vapour barrier effect is formed towards the room inside (I) of the window frame (6) than towards the room outside (A), and that the foam sealing strip (1) is formed in such a width that the same foam sealing strip (1) provides the seal both towards the room inside (I) and towards the room outside (A).
