Da beim Klebstoffwechsel ohnehin eine gründliche Reinigung der Maschine erfolgen muss, ist kaum ein Übertrag von Feuchtigkeit in das PUR-Leimbad zu befürchten. Versuche haben gezeigt, dass die Beeinflussung nicht größer ist, als sie ohnehin durch die normal vorhandene Luftfeuchtigkeit auftritt. Daraus ableitend besteht die Erfindung darin, dass keine Maschinenkomponenten ausgetauscht werden müssen. Die Erfindung besteht des Weiteren aus der Ausrüstung der Dosierwalze mit einer abschaltbaren Heizung. Für die Verarbeitung von PUR Klebstoff wird das Leimbad vorteilhaft über die Dosierwalze permanent beheizt. Beim Wechsel auf die Verarbeitung von Dispersionsklebstoffen (PVAc) wird diese Heizung einfach abgeschaltet, da PVAc-Klebstoff kalt verarbeitet wird. Beim Wechsel zurück zur Verarbeitung von PUR bewirkt die Inbetriebnahme der Walzenheizung ein zusätzliches Verdampfen eventuell noch vorhandener Restfeuchtigkeit. Eine weitere Komponente der Erfindung ist die Ausstattung der Maschine mit zwei separaten Leimversorgungssystemen, eines für PUR-Klebstoffe und eines für Dispersionsklebstoffe.The structure of the applicator rubber coating prevents ingress of water constituents of the dispersion adhesive. Fig. 1 zeigt eine schematische perspektivische Teildarstellung einer erfindungsgemäßen Vorrichtung 1 zum wahlweisen umrüstfreien Auftragen von Klebstoffen. Ein zu beschichtendes Werkstück 20 ist zwischen einer Auftragswalze 4 und einer Dosierwalze 6 auf der einen Seite und einer Gegendruckwalze 8 auf der anderen Seite angeordnet. Die Auftragswalze 4 ist so nahe neben der Dosierwalze 6 angeordnet, dass sie einen sich verjüngenden Spalt 7 bilden. In diesem Spalt 7 ist Klebstoff 30 angeordnet. Der Klebstoff 30 gelangt in einer definierten Menge entsprechend der Spaltbreite durch den Spalt zwischen der Auftragswalze 4 und der Dosierwalze 6 auf den unteren Teil der Auftragswalze 4 und schließlich auf das Werkstück 20. Auf diese Weise wird das Werkstück 20 mit Klebstoff 30 beschichtet. Die Dosierwalze 6 ist bei diesem Ausführungsbeispiel beheizbar, um den Klebstoff 30 zu erwärmen. Ferner weist die Auftragswalze 4 eine äußere Beschichtung 5, hier eine Gummierung, auf, die ein hineindiffundieren von Wasserbestandteilen, bei der Verwendung von Dispersionsklebstoff 30, in die Auftragswalze 4 verhindert. Eine Klebstoffabdichtung 10 ist vorgesehen, die den Spalt 7 zwischen Auftragswalze 4 und Dosierwalze 6 stirnseitig so abdichtet, dass der Klebstoff 30 im sich verjüngenden Spalt 7 weitgehend daran gehindert ist, in axialer Richtung der Walzen 4, 6 nach außen zu verlaufen. Die Klebstoffabdichtung 10 besteht bei diesem Ausführungsbeispiel aus einzelnen gegeneinander verschiebbaren Segmenten 12, hier Kunststoffbacken, die unter Druck dicht aneinander anliegen. Die Zuführung des Klebstoffs 30 wird anhand von Figur 2 dargestellt.In operation, the workpiece 20 is conveyed in the feed direction V. Fig. 2 zeigt eine schematische perspektivische Darstellung einer erfindungsgemäßen Vorrichtung 1 zum wahlweisen umrüstfreien Auftragen von Klebstoffen. Hier ist auch das Zuführsystem 37 für Klebstoff 30 dargestellt. Ein Vorrat für Schmelzklebstoff 36 ist über eine Zuführungsleitung für Schmelzklebstoff 39 mit dem Spalt 7 verbunden. Bei der Verwendung des Schmelzklebstoffvorrats 36 wird die Dosierwalze 6 beheizt um den Klebstoff 30 zu erwärmen. Wahlweise kann auch Klebstoff 30 aus dem
Dispersionsklebstoffvorrat 35 über die Zuführungsleitung für Dispersionsklebstoff 38 zugeführt werden. Eine Rückführungsleitung mit Filtersystem 40 für
Dispersionsklebstoff, insbesondere PVAc-Klebstoff, ist mit dem Vorrat für Dispersionsklebstoff 35 verbunden und dient der Rückführung und Aufbereitung des Klebstoffs. Bei Verwendung von Dispersionsklebstoff wird die Beheizung der Dosierwalze 6 bevorzugt abgeschaltet.

Claims (10)

  1. Apparatus (1) for the optional application without conversion of hot-melt adhesives, in particular PUR adhesives, and dispersion adhesives, in particular PVAc adhesives, to two-dimensional objects (20), in particular board-like structural members, which in at least one section are made of wood, derived timber products, plastic or the like, wherein a glue supply (36) for hot-melt adhesive and a glue supply (35) for dispersion adhesive are provided, characterised by
    at least one applicator roller (4) for applying the adhesive (30) and at least one proportioning roller (6) for proportioning the adhesive (30), which are arranged adjacent to each other, forming a tapering gap (7) into which the adhesive (30) is fed, wherein the glue supply (36) for hot-melt adhesive and the glue supply (35) for dispersion adhesive are connected to the gap (7) via a feed system (37) for adhesive (30).
  2. Apparatus (1) according to claim 1, characterised in that the applicator roller (4) has an outer coating (5), in particular a rubber coating, which prevents water components of the dispersion adhesive (30) from diffusing into the applicator roller (4).
  3. Apparatus (1) according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the proportioning roller (6) and/or the applicator roller (4) is optionally heatable.
  4. Apparatus (1) according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that a counterpressure roller (8) is provided in such a way that the workpiece (20) is passed through between the applicator roller (4) and the counterpressure roller (6) during application of the adhesive (30).
  5. Apparatus (1) according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the apparatus has at least one adhesive seal (10) which seals off the gap (7) between applicator roller (4) and proportioning roller (6) at the end faces in such a way that the adhesive (30) in the tapering gap (7) is to a large extent prevented from flowing to the outside in the axial direction of the rollers (4, 6).
  6. Apparatus (1) according to claim 5, characterised in that two adhesive seals (10) are provided, which seal off the gap (7) on both sides at the ends of the rollers (4, 6) in the axial direction of the rollers (4, 6).
  7. Apparatus (1) according to claim 6, characterised in that the adhesive seal (10) has individual segments (12) which are slidable relative to each other, in particular plastic jaws, which abut against each other sealingly under pressure.
  8. Apparatus (1) according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the temperature of the proportioning roller (6) and/or the applicator roller (4) can be regulated.
  9. Apparatus (1) according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the distance between the proportioning roller (6) and the applicator roller (4) is adjustable.
  10. Apparatus (1) according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that two separate adhesive feed pipes (38, 39) are provided for the different adhesives.
