Derartige Beschlagteilnuten werden häufig auch als hinterschnittene oder C-förmige Nuten bezeichnet. Zur Befestigung eines Beschlagteils an einer solchen Beschlagteilnut ist es bekannt, entweder ein Beschlagteil, welches entsprechende seitliche Ausnehmungen aufweist, an einem Ende der Beschlagteilnut einzufädeln und entlang der Beschlagteilnut in die richtige Position zu verschieben. Weiterhin ist es bekannt, einen Teil der Beschlagteilnut auszufräsen, um an dieser Stelle das Beschlagteil einsetzen zu können und anschließend entlang der Nut verschieben zu können. Die seitliche Ausnehmung kann dabei rillen- oder nutartig ausgebildet sein. Dadurch, dass das Beschlagteil mittels einer Drehbewegung montierbar ist, kann es in einer gegenüber der Gebrauchsstellung verdrehten Lage auf die Beschlagteilnut aufgesetzt und anschließend verdreht werden, so dass zumindest einer der Stege in eine seitliche Ausnehmung des Beschlagteils gelangt.
