  1. A door assembly (11') to be retrofitted to an open-fronted refrigerated cabinet (10) comprising a cooling chamber (15) and at least one side wall (19), wherein
    a cooling chamber (15) with refrigerated shelves is adapted to be closed by means of the door assembly (11'),
    said door assembly (11') comprising a door (12) supported by two pivot bearings (26) so as to be pivoted about a vertical axis between a closed position and an opened position, and
    said door assembly (11') comprising an upper rail (16) and a lower rail (18) arranged substantially parallel to a side wall (19) of a refrigerated shelf (10) and displaceably supporting said pivot bearings (26) of the door (12),
    such that said door (12) is displaceable in said rails (16,18) between a use position in front of a cooling chamber (15), in which the door (12) is pivotable between the opened position and the closed position, and a parking position to the side of the cooling chamber (15), in which the door (12) cannot be pivoted,
    characterized in that
    the door assembly (11') comprises a two-part cassette (17') with frame parts (22', 24') at which rails (16, 18) are provided in dual configuration so that two doors (12) are received parallel to each other in said two-part cassette structure (17') so that a cooling chamber (15) can be subdivided into two shelf segments containing respectively one partial cooling chamber.
  2. The door assembly (11') for retrofitting according to claim 1, wherein the door assembly (11') is provided with a locking mechanism by which said pivot bearings (26) of the door (12) can be locked in the use position.
  3. The door assembly (11') for retrofitting according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the door assembly (11') is provided with a locking mechanism by which said pivot bearings (26) of the door (12) can be locked in the parking position.
  4. The door assembly (11') for retrofitting according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein said rails (16,18) comprise a U-shaped groove, with the respective pivot bearings (26) being guided in said grooves.
  5. The door assembly (11') for retrofitting according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein a slider (28), which is guided in the groove of the rail (16,18), comprises said pivot bearing (26) of the door (12).
  6. The door assembly (11') for retrofitting according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein said cassette structure (17) comprises a side wall (14) on the side adapted to be directed toward a cooling chamber (15).
  7. The door assembly (11') for retrofitting according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the door width is not larger than the depth of a cooling chamber (15).
  8. The door assembly (11') for retrofitting according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the door assembly (11') comprises a self-locking mechanism which is operative to automatically move the door (12) from the use position, preferably in case of a door opening angle smaller than 30°, into the closed position.
  9. A refrigerated cabinet (10) with an open front and a cooling chamber (15) and at least one side wall (19), comprising a door assembly (11') for retrofitting as defined in one of claims 1-8.
