Definitions
- the invention relates to a room divider construction, with which a building interior can be divided into at least two rooms, with at least one translucent, opaque or transparent wall element. Furthermore, the invention relates to a wall element for such a room divider construction, a spacer profile for such a wall element and a method for creating a inventive space divider construction and for producing a wall element according to the invention.
- Room divider structures for building interiors are known per se. Usually such constructions are made of different building materials including glass and mounted in each case on site. Depending on the building material, the installation of a room divider construction is complex and demanding. When using Gias, the poor processability in comparison with wood or plasterboard has a negative effect on the installation effort. Specifically, this means that glass is more sensitive to contamination than, for example, wood or plasterboard or that it can be badly cut. This is especially true for wall elements of a room divider construction of insulating glass, which usually consists of several glass layers. These glass layers have been joined successively on the site to form wall elements. Naturally, this elaborate process is done by hand.
- the object of the invention is to provide a the aforementioned technical field belonging room divider construction, which has a small installation cost and low installation costs.
- the wall element used in the room divider construction is a prefabricated insulating glass element.
- a wall element according to the invention has glass panes which are connected to one another via a circumferential spacer profile.
- a spacer profile according to the invention comprises an outer-side groove, a cavity and a baffle rib.
- the glass panes form at least a majority of the visible surfaces of the wall elements.
- other materials are also conceivable.
- a first mounting ledge is fixed at the level of an upper end of the wall element and a second mounting ledge is attached to a room-side structure at the level of a lower end of the wall element.
- an interaction of the first mounting strip with a first spacer profile section introduced into the wall element and an interaction of the second mounting rail with a second spacer profile section introduced in the wall element are provided.
- the distance between the mounting strips here is greater than the distance between the groove bottom of the first spacer profile section and the second spacer profile section to allow mounting of the wall element in the attachment.
- the first spacer profile section is suspended in the first mounting strip, the U-shaped groove of the spacer profile partially enclosing the mounting strip.
- the second spacer profile section is deposited on the second mounting strip.
- the wall element preferably sits on the lower mounting strip with a block on the lower spacer profile section, so that the glass panes have a professional blockage and the bond is unloaded.
- the lower and the upper mounting bar are aligned very precisely horizontal and parallel to each other, because the wall elements rest on the mounting rail and slight bumps in the mounting rail, for example, by uneven joints between wall elements clearly visible.
- a method for producing a wall element in a first step, two glass panes are held at a defined distance from one another by a spacer profile according to the invention.
- the glass panes are thus on each side of the spacer profile on the corresponding baffle rib and close circumferentially with the spacer profile.
- the outside groove of the spacer profile is closed by a cover.
- an adhesive, sealing and / or insulating agent is introduced into the two-sided joints between a respective glass sheet and the closed groove.
- the cover of the groove is removed.
- Butyl is particularly suitable as adhesive, the adhesive seam subsequently being able to be sealed by a sealant.
- the wall element made of insulating glass eliminates the particularly time-consuming and thus costly, inaccurate and pollution prone portion of the assembly, namely the insertion of individual glass panes in a frame system.
- the insulating glass element can thereby be manufactured in a glass factory by specialists under optimal manufacturing and purity conditions.
- a standardized production and a modular handling experience also offer a large cost-saving potential.
- the wall element already has a circumferential spacer profile with interconnected glass panes when it is delivered and consequently does not have to be assembled first on a construction site, it becomes a ready-to-use insulating glass, with the spacer profile having a special significance as a border.
- the groove of the spacer profile allows a structurally simple and effective handling of the wall element.
- the inventive method for creating a room divider structure makes use of the design of the wall elements and allows for a corresponding preparation in the form of attachment of mounting rails, for example, to the ceiling and floor of the part to be shared Kunststoffs, the insulating glass elements quickly and without special expertise in the field of glass processing to assemble.
- the claimed method for producing a wall element according to the invention is also particularly uncomplicated by the possible use of an adhesive and / or sealing nozzle.
- the at least one insulating glass element of the room divider construction is mounted frameless.
- frameless means that no frame protruding beyond the outer edges of the glass pane composite (eg made of metal or plastic) is used.
- An outer frame in the form of a socket along the edge of the insulating glass element, for example, for the assembly or to increase the stability of the wall element is unnecessary. It can be achieved as a filigree aesthetic impression. Accordingly, a spacer profile located within the volume defined by the outer surfaces of the glass pane composite is not to be confused with an outer frame.
- the room divider construction may also include a wall element which is not frameless but has glass panes comprised of a frame. This may be desirable for design reasons and is not contrary to the inventive realization of the room divider construction.
- a peripheral spacer profile is formed on the insulating glass element on the circumference, which additionally comprises a groove, which makes it possible to fix the wall element to the floor and ceiling and / or with an adjacent wall element with fixing devices not visible from the outside.
- a spacer profile is not to be understood as described above in contradiction to the frameless design of the wall element.
- the spacer profile makes the wall element particularly versatile and easy to handle. In particular, the attachment of the wall element to an adjacent structural element is particularly simplified.
- the insulating glass elements are manufactured without such a circumferential spacer profile, which is suitable for fixing the wall element to the floor, ceiling or an adjacent wall element with fastening devices which are invisible from the outside.
- they may comprise devices which, while capable of holding together two or more sheets of glass, are not adapted to attach the insulating glass elements to adjacent wall elements, floor or ceiling.
- the fastening devices comprise mounting strips.
- the mounting strips are cut to the spacer profile of the wall element in terms of their dimensions and shape.
- a mounting rail is a profile that is about as long as the width of a wall element.
- the mounting strip preferably engages in the groove of the respective spacer profile. Mounting strips have the advantage of being able to be very easily fixed in place to a structural element and represent a flexible attachment.
- mounting rails could represent individual mounting elements, which do not extend over the entire width of a wall element.
- mounting aids are conceivable in addition to mounting rails, which support the wall elements, for example, from the outside.
- the mounting rails on a dovetail profile Preferably, the mounting rails on a dovetail profile.
- the dovetail shape allows a substantially rectangular spacer profile to be tilted on the mounting bar with little play between the spacer profile and the mounting bar.
- the dovetail shape allows tilting of the rectangular groove about an axis which extends longitudinally in the groove, without giving up a firm support of the wall element perpendicular to the plane of its extension.
- mounting rails are possible.
- a mounting strip with a substantially rectangular profile when using an elastic material also also allow tilting of the spacer profile on the mounting strip.
- a T- or double T-shaped profile of the mounting rails is also conceivable.
- the insulating glass element is made room high.
- the room-top design unfolds its aesthetic effect best when it appears as a complete partition.
- the room height can easily be up to 4.5 m.
- the insulating glass element can also be made smaller than the ceiling height.
- the size of the wall element can be chosen so that it is adapted to the position of the fastening means with which it is attached to structural elements of the room such as floors, ceilings, walls, holding struts and the like.
- the wall element has a door made of an insulating glass element.
- a door in the room divider construction obviously increases their possible fields of application.
- the wall element also has openable windows.
- doors and windows are mandatory in the invention.
- Such doors and windows need not necessarily be made of insulating glass.
- the door has a door lock, which is housed in the interior of the insulating glass element.
- a door lock inside the insulating glass element is optically and tactile as little disturbing.
- the insulating glass element must be designed in particular with regard to its spacer profile to receive a corresponding device.
- the interior of the insulating glass element is also defined essentially by the gap between the two glass panes which form an insulating glass element.
- the door can also be designed without a door lock or the door lock can be provided outside the insulating glass element.
- a door lock on the surface of the insulating glass element is conceivable or a door in which a closing mechanism is provided in the region of the door hinge. It is also conceivable to use a magnetic snapper.
- all wall elements of the room divider structure are insulating glass elements, which are flat and rectangular.
- a system of optically coherent wall elements is assembled to a room divider construction, which meets high aesthetic standards and thereby carries the advantages of a modular production in itself.
- the joint width between adjacent wall elements is relatively low, preferably about 6 mm.
- the spacer profile of the wall element comprises a circumferential groove.
- the groove can be made different deep and different width depending on the position. How this groove is executed, for example, depends on whether they are part of a spacer profile section, which is in an upper or in a lower portion of the wall element - based on the orientation of the wall element in the room divider structure - introduced.
- An upper groove which cooperates with a mounting strip fastened, for example, to a ceiling preferably has a depth of about 15 mm to 17 mm, whereas a lower groove, which cooperates with a mounted, for example on a room floor mounting rail, a smaller depth of z. B. about 10 mm.
- a groove which is provided for a mounting strip for a door element or the like, has a depth of preferably about 17 mm and a width of preferably about 23 mm. Of course, the sizes mentioned may vary within a technically reasonable range.
- the grooves are in any case chosen so that they are dimensioned lower in an upper region of the wall element than in a lower region, so that the wall element can still be lifted on the attached to the floor mounting rail, after it has been connected to the mounting plate fixed in the ceiling ,
- the spacer profile can also be designed without a groove.
- Other attachment mechanisms may be used.
- the spacer profile can be executed with a corresponding shape of the mounting rail as a spring part of a tongue and groove connection.
- a spoiler rib is formed on the spacer profile in order to give the adhesive, sealing and / or insulating material a defined edge contour in the production of the insulating glass element.
- a preferred edge contour here is a perfectly straight edge.
- the advantage of such a spoiler is particularly clear when a wall element is assembled in such a way that a Butylschnur is applied by the respective peripheral outer side of a wall element. The butyl is displaced in a subsequent pressing to the aforementioned spoiler and is prevented by this on a further expansion beyond the spoiler. This results in an adhesive edge, which corresponds exactly to the contour of the baffle along the glass.
- the adhesive, sealant or insulation material may consist of butyl or silicone, for example.
- the glass sheets and the spacer profile can also be held together with a less precisely contoured adhesive or insulating material. If the glass sheets are provided on their surface with an opaque layer, such as a film or a screen printing layer, the exactly rectilinear course of the sealant edge is not significant. The advantage of the storage lip is largely aesthetic.
- the wall element has a built-in thickness of less than 80 mm, preferably of about 50 mm.
- a small build-in strength has visual advantages, because the corresponding wall element can make a more elegant and filigree impression than a thicker wall element.
- a thinner wall element occupies less space, so that a space that is divided by a room divider construction of thinner wall elements loses less area than with thicker wall elements. This second point is particularly relevant for corner constructions made of wall elements, as this adds up larger installation thicknesses.
- the wall element preferably comprises a foil in an inner space between the glass panes of the insulating glass element.
- a film may be printed in color, transparent, translucent or opaque and / or fulfill a sound-inhibiting or, for example, an electrically switchable function.
- the wall element comprises a functional coating in an inner space of the insulating glass element on one of the glass panes.
- a functional coating can for example represent a tint, an antireflection coating or a disposable or complete mirroring and active screens and thus fulfill various functions.
- the spacer profile comprises small openings in the inside boundary of the cavity located in the spacer profile, so that a gas and moisture exchange between the cavity and a gap between the glass sheets is made possible.
- the inside boundary of the cavity is the side at which adjoins the cavity in the spacer profile, which is mounted in the insulating glass element, the gap between the glass sheets.
- Small openings also prevent small particles from being exchanged between the cavity and the gap between the glass panes in addition to gas and moisture.
- the cavity of the spacer profile contains a desiccant.
- the desiccant is usually a powder or a plurality of small balls, such as silica gel, which is housed in the cavity.
- a gas and moisture exchange between these two space sections is enabled, which can act the desiccant in the cavity of the spacer profile also on the space between the glass panes.
- the desiccant is stored elegantly hidden, so it does not adversely affect the aesthetic impression of the wall element.
- the wall element is preferably tilted about an axis extending in the first mounting strip between the second and third steps.
- the spacer profile in the first mounting strip is a connection between the wall element and the structural element to which the mounting strip is attached, which allows tilting about a corresponding axis.
- the tilting is particularly well possible with a dovetail-shaped mounting rail.
- the wall element in the direction of the upper mounting rail enough game to position the wall element on the lower mounting rail and then settle the wall element on the lower mounting rail.
- the tilting between the second step, namely the mounting of the spacer profile in the upper mounting strip and the third step, namely the settling of the wall element on the lower mounting strip allows a separation of these two steps.
- a fitter is easily able to concentrate on each of the steps individually.
- the wall element must not be possible to tilt about an axis extending in the first mounting strip. It is also conceivable that the mounting rails or the spacer profiles are designed to be movable and after the respective wall element is fully positioned, be fixed. An L-shaped mounting strip, on the vertically standing flank, the wall element is glued or clamped, is also conceivable.
- the adhesive, sealing and / or insulating agent is applied with a nozzle to the outside cover of the groove so that it is evenly distributed in the two joints.
- the agent can of itself flow evenly over the cover of the groove in the joints between the glass sheets and the spacer profile, without polluting the groove. Due to the cover, it is not necessary that a separate nozzle is provided for each joint.
- a multi-nozzle seal can be used, with which the sealant is injected directly into the corresponding joints.
- the cover of the groove is defined as a predetermined breaking points removable component of the spacer profile.
- predetermined breaking points it is possible that the cover member after the preparation of the wall element analogous to opening a tin along the predetermined breaking points can be easily broken out without damaging the rest of the spacer profile.
- the cover can also be a separate component, which is placed, for example, on the opening of the groove in order to close it. It may also be that the cover is separated from the remainder of the spacer profile after the gluing of the glass sheets to the spacer profile by a tool from the spacer profile.
- the inventive partition construction can be used in addition to their use for the division of rooms or for separating parts of rooms in particular as part of an external facade.
- the glass properties can be adapted to many different requirements, which apply to the different applications of the inventive space divider construction.
- the wall elements may also have different degrees of isolation. Thus, it is readily possible, for example, to introduce additional insulation, for example sound insulation, into the wall elements.
- FIG. 17 shows the floor plan of a room with four inventive wall elements 7.7 ... 7.10 as a room divider. Between two of the wall elements 7.9 and 7.10 there is a door 42, which forms a passage between the two halves of space 59 and 60. The door is in FIG. 17 drawn both in an open and in a closed position.
- the room further has a passage 58 in the lower right image section and windows 57 in the upper right and left image sections.
- the windows 57 are designed in contrast to the wall elements 7.7 ... 7.10 as part of the facade of a building. For example, they may also be formed by insulating glass elements or by glass blocks or similar elements.
- the wall 20 of the room serves partly as a facade of a building and partly as a partition opposite other rooms in the interior of the building.
- the wall elements 7.7 ... 7.10 are provided only for separating the room parts 59 and 60 from each other inside a heated building and thus do not form part of the facade of a building.
- FIG. 19 shows the floor plan of the same room with four inventive wall elements 7.7 ... 7.10 as a room divider and located between the wall elements 7.9 and 7.10 door 42.1 as FIG. 17 , However, the door 42.1 is additionally equipped with a skylight, which in the corresponding elevation drawing in Fig. 20 is shown.
- FIG. 18 shows a front view of a room with four inventive wall elements 7.7 ... 7.10 and a door 41.
- a wall 20 to which the wall element 7.7 laterally abuts.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a room divider construction, with which a building interior can be divided into at least two rooms, with at least one translucent, opaque or transparent wall element. Furthermore, the invention relates to a wall element for such a room divider construction, a spacer profile for such a wall element and a method for creating a inventive space divider construction and for producing a wall element according to the invention.
Room divider structures for building interiors are known per se.
The previously customary for such room divider structures assembly on site, has the disadvantage that it is very complex and must always be done by hand. Usually, a frame system is installed on the site, which serves as a skeleton and in which the individual discs are used. In insulating glass wall elements there is always the risk of permanent contamination of the individual glass panes by the construction site environment.
The object of the invention is to provide a the aforementioned technical field belonging room divider construction, which has a small installation cost and low installation costs.
The solution of the problem is defined by the features of
In a method for creating such a room divider construction, in a first step, a first mounting ledge is fixed at the level of an upper end of the wall element and a second mounting ledge is attached to a room-side structure at the level of a lower end of the wall element. In this case, an interaction of the first mounting strip with a first spacer profile section introduced into the wall element and an interaction of the second mounting rail with a second spacer profile section introduced in the wall element are provided. The distance between the mounting strips here is greater than the distance between the groove bottom of the first spacer profile section and the second spacer profile section to allow mounting of the wall element in the attachment. In a second step, the first spacer profile section is suspended in the first mounting strip, the U-shaped groove of the spacer profile partially enclosing the mounting strip. In a third step, the second spacer profile section is deposited on the second mounting strip. In this case, the wall element preferably sits on the lower mounting strip with a block on the lower spacer profile section, so that the glass panes have a professional blockage and the bond is unloaded. For the assembly of the inventive room divider construction is possible to note that the lower and the upper mounting bar are aligned very precisely horizontal and parallel to each other, because the wall elements rest on the mounting rail and slight bumps in the mounting rail, for example, by uneven joints between wall elements clearly visible.
In a method for producing a wall element according to the invention, in a first step, two glass panes are held at a defined distance from one another by a spacer profile according to the invention. The glass panes are thus on each side of the spacer profile on the corresponding baffle rib and close circumferentially with the spacer profile. The outside groove of the spacer profile is closed by a cover. In a second step, an adhesive, sealing and / or insulating agent is introduced into the two-sided joints between a respective glass sheet and the closed groove. Subsequently, in a third step, the cover of the groove is removed. Butyl is particularly suitable as adhesive, the adhesive seam subsequently being able to be sealed by a sealant.
Due to the factory-ready delivery of the wall element made of insulating glass eliminates the particularly time-consuming and thus costly, inaccurate and pollution prone portion of the assembly, namely the insertion of individual glass panes in a frame system. The insulating glass element can thereby be manufactured in a glass factory by specialists under optimal manufacturing and purity conditions. A standardized production and a modular handling experience also offer a large cost-saving potential. Due to the fact that the wall element already has a circumferential spacer profile with interconnected glass panes when it is delivered and consequently does not have to be assembled first on a construction site, it becomes a ready-to-use insulating glass, with the spacer profile having a special significance as a border. The groove of the spacer profile allows a structurally simple and effective handling of the wall element. The inventive method for creating a room divider structure makes use of the design of the wall elements and allows for a corresponding preparation in the form of attachment of mounting rails, for example, to the ceiling and floor of the part to be shared Raums, the insulating glass elements quickly and without special expertise in the field of glass processing to assemble. The claimed method for producing a wall element according to the invention is also particularly uncomplicated by the possible use of an adhesive and / or sealing nozzle. By covering the groove and the baffle lip, it is easily possible to use a single-nozzle bonding system or single-nozzle sealing system and reliably achieve a perfect edge of the adhesive or sealant without adhesive or sealant penetrating into the groove , The substance discharged from the nozzle is prevented by the cover of the groove from penetrating into the groove.
Advantageously, the at least one insulating glass element of the room divider construction is mounted frameless. In this context, frameless means that no frame protruding beyond the outer edges of the glass pane composite (eg made of metal or plastic) is used. An outer frame in the form of a socket along the edge of the insulating glass element, for example, for the assembly or to increase the stability of the wall element is unnecessary. It can be achieved as a filigree aesthetic impression. Accordingly, a spacer profile located within the volume defined by the outer surfaces of the glass pane composite is not to be confused with an outer frame.
Alternatively, the room divider construction may also include a wall element which is not frameless but has glass panes comprised of a frame. This may be desirable for design reasons and is not contrary to the inventive realization of the room divider construction.
Preferably, a peripheral spacer profile is formed on the insulating glass element on the circumference, which additionally comprises a groove, which makes it possible to fix the wall element to the floor and ceiling and / or with an adjacent wall element with fixing devices not visible from the outside. Such a spacer profile is not to be understood as described above in contradiction to the frameless design of the wall element. The spacer profile makes the wall element particularly versatile and easy to handle. In particular, the attachment of the wall element to an adjacent structural element is particularly simplified.
The fact that the fastening devices are not visible from the outside, in turn serves aesthetic purposes.
It is also possible that the insulating glass elements are manufactured without such a circumferential spacer profile, which is suitable for fixing the wall element to the floor, ceiling or an adjacent wall element with fastening devices which are invisible from the outside. For example, they may comprise devices which, while capable of holding together two or more sheets of glass, are not adapted to attach the insulating glass elements to adjacent wall elements, floor or ceiling.
Preferably, the fastening devices comprise mounting strips. Particularly preferably, the mounting strips are cut to the spacer profile of the wall element in terms of their dimensions and shape. A mounting rail is a profile that is about as long as the width of a wall element. The mounting strip preferably engages in the groove of the respective spacer profile. Mounting strips have the advantage of being able to be very easily fixed in place to a structural element and represent a flexible attachment.
Alternatively, and in addition to mounting strips, it is also conceivable that other, equal or similar acting fastener find in the mounting device use. Possible alternatives to mounting rails could represent individual mounting elements, which do not extend over the entire width of a wall element. In addition, mounting aids are conceivable in addition to mounting rails, which support the wall elements, for example, from the outside.
Preferably, the mounting rails on a dovetail profile. The dovetail shape allows a substantially rectangular spacer profile to be tilted on the mounting bar with little play between the spacer profile and the mounting bar. By this is meant that the dovetail shape allows tilting of the rectangular groove about an axis which extends longitudinally in the groove, without giving up a firm support of the wall element perpendicular to the plane of its extension.
Alternatively, another realization of the mounting rails is possible. For example, a mounting strip with a substantially rectangular profile when using an elastic material also also allow tilting of the spacer profile on the mounting strip. A T- or double T-shaped profile of the mounting rails is also conceivable.
Preferably, the insulating glass element is made room high. The room-top design unfolds its aesthetic effect best when it appears as a complete partition. The room height can easily be up to 4.5 m.
Alternatively, the insulating glass element can also be made smaller than the ceiling height. The size of the wall element can be chosen so that it is adapted to the position of the fastening means with which it is attached to structural elements of the room such as floors, ceilings, walls, holding struts and the like.
Advantageously, the wall element has a door made of an insulating glass element. A door in the room divider construction obviously increases their possible fields of application. For aesthetic reasons, it may also be desired that the door fits visually in the overall picture of the glass wall elements and, for example, is also made of insulating glass.
It is also possible that the wall element also has openable windows. Of course, neither doors nor windows are mandatory in the invention. Such doors and windows need not necessarily be made of insulating glass.
Preferably, the door has a door lock, which is housed in the interior of the insulating glass element. A door lock inside the insulating glass element is optically and tactile as little disturbing. The insulating glass element must be designed in particular with regard to its spacer profile to receive a corresponding device. The interior of the insulating glass element is also defined essentially by the gap between the two glass panes which form an insulating glass element.
Alternatively, the door can also be designed without a door lock or the door lock can be provided outside the insulating glass element. For example, a door lock on the surface of the insulating glass element is conceivable or a door in which a closing mechanism is provided in the region of the door hinge. It is also conceivable to use a magnetic snapper.
Preferably, all wall elements of the room divider structure are insulating glass elements, which are flat and rectangular. In this way, a system of optically coherent wall elements is assembled to a room divider construction, which meets high aesthetic standards and thereby carries the advantages of a modular production in itself. The joint width between adjacent wall elements is relatively low, preferably about 6 mm.
Alternatively, it is also possible to perform only certain, for example, standardized parts of the room divider construction as insulating glass elements. Particularly complicated shapes, which include, for example, many curves or angles, can be mounted sensibly in a previously known manner from glass or from another material.
Advantageously, the spacer profile of the wall element comprises a circumferential groove. The groove can be made different deep and different width depending on the position. How this groove is executed, for example, depends on whether they are part of a spacer profile section, which is in an upper or in a lower portion of the wall element - based on the orientation of the wall element in the room divider structure - introduced. An upper groove which cooperates with a mounting strip fastened, for example, to a ceiling, preferably has a depth of about 15 mm to 17 mm, whereas a lower groove, which cooperates with a mounted, for example on a room floor mounting rail, a smaller depth of z. B. about 10 mm. The dimensions of the groove are also oriented to the mounting rail or another counterpart with which it interacts. In the case of different counterparts of the groove, this can therefore vary over the circumference of an insulating glass element. A groove, which is provided for a mounting strip for a door element or the like, has a depth of preferably about 17 mm and a width of preferably about 23 mm. Of course, the sizes mentioned may vary within a technically reasonable range. The grooves are in any case chosen so that they are dimensioned lower in an upper region of the wall element than in a lower region, so that the wall element can still be lifted on the attached to the floor mounting rail, after it has been connected to the mounting plate fixed in the ceiling ,
Alternatively, the spacer profile can also be designed without a groove. Other attachment mechanisms may be used. For example, the spacer profile can be executed with a corresponding shape of the mounting rail as a spring part of a tongue and groove connection.
Preferably, a spoiler rib is formed on the spacer profile in order to give the adhesive, sealing and / or insulating material a defined edge contour in the production of the insulating glass element. A preferred edge contour here is a perfectly straight edge. The advantage of such a spoiler is particularly clear when a wall element is assembled in such a way that a Butylschnur is applied by the respective peripheral outer side of a wall element. The butyl is displaced in a subsequent pressing to the aforementioned spoiler and is prevented by this on a further expansion beyond the spoiler. This results in an adhesive edge, which corresponds exactly to the contour of the baffle along the glass. The adhesive, sealant or insulation material may consist of butyl or silicone, for example.
Alternatively, it is also possible to dispense with a spoiler. The glass sheets and the spacer profile can also be held together with a less precisely contoured adhesive or insulating material. If the glass sheets are provided on their surface with an opaque layer, such as a film or a screen printing layer, the exactly rectilinear course of the sealant edge is not significant. The advantage of the storage lip is largely aesthetic.
Advantageously, the wall element has a built-in thickness of less than 80 mm, preferably of about 50 mm. On the one hand, a small build-in strength has visual advantages, because the corresponding wall element can make a more elegant and filigree impression than a thicker wall element. On the other hand, a thinner wall element occupies less space, so that a space that is divided by a room divider construction of thinner wall elements loses less area than with thicker wall elements. This second point is particularly relevant for corner constructions made of wall elements, as this adds up larger installation thicknesses.
It is also possible to use wall elements with larger installation thicknesses. Such larger installation thicknesses of more than 80 mm can give a wall element a more solid appearance.
The wall element preferably comprises a foil in an inner space between the glass panes of the insulating glass element. Such a film may be printed in color, transparent, translucent or opaque and / or fulfill a sound-inhibiting or, for example, an electrically switchable function. Thus, it is possible to control the transparency properties of the wall element or to produce by certain films, for example, a color design of the room divider construction. It is also possible that a plurality of films are introduced between the glass panes in the interior of the insulating glass element.
Alternatively, it can be dispensed with the introduction of a film in the interior between the glass panes of the insulating glass element. In many cases, the transparency of normal glass sheets for the room divider construction is just desired.
In a further preferred embodiment, the wall element comprises a functional coating in an inner space of the insulating glass element on one of the glass panes. Such a functional coating can for example represent a tint, an antireflection coating or a disposable or complete mirroring and active screens and thus fulfill various functions.
Alternatively, it is possible to dispense with a functional coating of one of the glass panes of the insulating glass element. In addition, it is also possible to apply a functional coating from the outside to one of the glass panes, to introduce a film with a functional coating between the glass elements or to use a combination of these various possibilities.
Advantageously, the spacer profile comprises small openings in the inside boundary of the cavity located in the spacer profile, so that a gas and moisture exchange between the cavity and a gap between the glass sheets is made possible. The inside boundary of the cavity is the side at which adjoins the cavity in the spacer profile, which is mounted in the insulating glass element, the gap between the glass sheets. Thus, a gas and moisture connection between the cavity and the space between the glass sheets of the insulating glass element is made. Small openings also prevent small particles from being exchanged between the cavity and the gap between the glass panes in addition to gas and moisture.
Alternatively, it is also possible to dispense with such openings. You can also be executed differently sized.
Preferably, the cavity of the spacer profile contains a desiccant. The desiccant is usually a powder or a plurality of small balls, such as silica gel, which is housed in the cavity. Through the small openings between the cavity and the space between the glass panes of the insulating glass element, a gas and moisture exchange between these two space sections is enabled, which can act the desiccant in the cavity of the spacer profile also on the space between the glass panes. As a result, on the one hand prevents moisture between the glass panes resides, which precipitates at certain temperature conditions as condensation on one of the glass panes or both glass panes. On the other hand, the desiccant is stored elegantly hidden, so it does not adversely affect the aesthetic impression of the wall element.
In the method for producing a room divider construction according to the invention, after the first spacer profile has been hung into the first mounting strip, the wall element is preferably tilted about an axis extending in the first mounting strip between the second and third steps. By attaching the spacer profile in the first mounting strip is a connection between the wall element and the structural element to which the mounting strip is attached, which allows tilting about a corresponding axis. The tilting is particularly well possible with a dovetail-shaped mounting rail. To install a wall element in the room divider construction, it is first hung in the upper mounting rail. The groove in the spacer profile into which the upper mounting rail engages is deeper than the groove into which the lower mounting rail will engage. Thus, the wall element in the direction of the upper mounting rail enough game to position the wall element on the lower mounting rail and then settle the wall element on the lower mounting rail. The tilting between the second step, namely the mounting of the spacer profile in the upper mounting strip and the third step, namely the settling of the wall element on the lower mounting strip allows a separation of these two steps. Thus, a fitter is easily able to concentrate on each of the steps individually.
Alternatively, the wall element must not be possible to tilt about an axis extending in the first mounting strip. It is also conceivable that the mounting rails or the spacer profiles are designed to be movable and after the respective wall element is fully positioned, be fixed. An L-shaped mounting strip, on the vertically standing flank, the wall element is glued or clamped, is also conceivable.
Advantageously, in the manufacturing process of the wall element, the adhesive, sealing and / or insulating agent is applied with a nozzle to the outside cover of the groove so that it is evenly distributed in the two joints. The agent can of itself flow evenly over the cover of the groove in the joints between the glass sheets and the spacer profile, without polluting the groove. Due to the cover, it is not necessary that a separate nozzle is provided for each joint.
Alternatively, a multi-nozzle seal can be used, with which the sealant is injected directly into the corresponding joints. This is also possible with a single nozzle sealing system, for example by filling the joints one after the other.
Advantageously, the cover of the groove is defined as a predetermined breaking points removable component of the spacer profile. By such predetermined breaking points, it is possible that the cover member after the preparation of the wall element analogous to opening a tin along the predetermined breaking points can be easily broken out without damaging the rest of the spacer profile.
Alternatively, the cover can also be a separate component, which is placed, for example, on the opening of the groove in order to close it. It may also be that the cover is separated from the remainder of the spacer profile after the gluing of the glass sheets to the spacer profile by a tool from the spacer profile.
The inventive partition construction can be used in addition to their use for the division of rooms or for separating parts of rooms in particular as part of an external facade. The glass properties can be adapted to many different requirements, which apply to the different applications of the inventive space divider construction. For different glass properties, the wall elements may also have different degrees of isolation. Thus, it is readily possible, for example, to introduce additional insulation, for example sound insulation, into the wall elements.

The
Of course, the wall elements do not have to stand on a straight line. It can also be created angled partitions, for example by the wall elements are arranged at a certain angle (of eg 90 ° or 60 °) abutting each other.

Basically, the modular design of the room divider construction allows almost any composition of the individual components to a room divider system. Thus,
In summary, it should be noted that a space divider structure was created by the invention, which offers high flexibility in their application with low installation costs and associated low installation costs. In addition to the primarily due to the modular design of the room divider construction flexibility, this is also very high quality, because the individual wall elements of the room divider structure can be done by machine or in dedicated factories and thus find the high manufacturing standards from the glass industry in accordance with manufactured wall elements application.
