- RFID labels are known manner prepared so that a so-called RFID inlay between the sheet-like, provided on the bottom with a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer covering material and a likewise web-shaped carrier material is arranged, which is removable from the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer.
- the RFID inlay contains a RFID chip mounted on a flat antenna and electrically connected thereto, the RFID antenna being arranged on an antenna foil. It is known to attach the chip modules for processing in a row in succession on strips and thus supply the RFID antennas during processing. Each microchip with its two connection contacts is then removed from the strip and glued to the RFID antenna so that its connection contacts have galvanic contact with the contacts of the RFID antenna.
