Description

The invention relates to a container according to the preamble of claim 1, such as for example US 4,351,448 known.

Containers of the type mentioned are manifold known and serve the storage and storage of different objects and solid, liquid and gaseous substances. For this purpose, a vessel has in its interior a cavity which primarily serves the purpose of separating its contents from its environment. Containers are differentiated according to their function, material, dimensions and their load capacity. Thus, the form-containing enclosure of the container may be rigid or elastic, d. H. made of wood, paper, cardboard, iron, steel, light metal and plastics or combinations of these materials or of composite materials. In contrast to containers, the vessel is a device which has a rigid and rigid casing and can hold a content of different consistency. In addition to storage and storage, another area of application of containers is the protection of the contents from external influences and, conversely, the protection of the environment from the dangers of contents in storage and transport.

Integral components of containers are often handles and, in the case of closable containers provided with a lid, closure devices for closing the container. The handles are primarily designed in the form of handles that allow an in-the-hands take the container. The handles have different shapes and can be present, for example, in the form of a pawl, a pommel or a handle. Also widely used are drinking containers of different shapes with a handle. Since all these handles must allow a grab of the hand, they are designed so that they are additionally formed on the container or how it is, for example, the case with milk cans, provided with movable handles. What is common to these handles is that they are usually loop-shaped bent, laterally or above the container are arranged. However, containers often have to meet space-saving requirements, for example with regard to the storage of containers. The storage of a large number of containers often requires not a lot of storage space because of the handles integrated in the containers. For this purpose, in previously known generic containers, the handle extends in the case of a closed state of the container in the circumferential direction of the container or is arranged such that it initially extends in the circumferential direction in order to then converge towards the container. In this case, the handle may rest on the container in such a way that the part of the handle which allows taking in the hands adapts to the shape of the container. In addition, in these known containers, the closure devices of the container have complementary closure elements, wherein in the closed state, a closure element arranged at one end of the handle and a closure element arranged on the lid interact. The fact that the handle extends in the case of a closed state of the container in the circumferential direction of the container or in the case of a closed state of the container, the handle is arranged so that it initially extends in the circumferential direction, and then to converge against the container, is so far achieves a space-saving effect, as in the case of storage or non-use of the container no handle protrudes sideways. In the case of the known containers, it is also ensured that, when the handle is in contact with the container, a closure element arranged at one end of the handle and a closure element arranged on the lid interact and thus the container is locked.

However, containers of the type mentioned have the disadvantage that they do not always allow a safe in-the-hands-take.

In view of this problem, the present invention has the object to provide a container with a movable handle, which allows a safe in-the-hands-taking.

This object is achieved with the features of claim 1.

Advantageous embodiments of the invention are manifested in the dependent claims.

The invention provides that between the closure element of the handle and the part of the handle, which allows an in-the-hand-take, a hinge is arranged. The swivel fulfills two functions. Firstly, by the non-rigid connection between the closure element of the handle and the part of the handle, which allows taking in hand, the handle, which is preferably designed arcuate, are moved away from the container, so that a grab the Hand is possible to hold the container safely in the hand. At the same time the non-rigid connection allows a spatial movement of the handle in the direction of the container until the handle rests against the container.

Preferably, the closure member of the handle is rotatably mounted on the container. For this purpose, it may be provided that a circumferential pin-shaped part is mounted on the container, the end facing away from the container with the closure element of the handle is firmly connected. The circumferential pin-shaped part is rotatable about its longitudinal axis and mounted on the container, thereby ensuring that the closure element of the handle and thus the handle itself is rotatably mounted on the container.

Conveniently, the closure element of the handle has a recess. By turning the handle in the direction of the the lid arranged closure element engages the closure element of the lid, more precisely a cylindrical part, which is followed by a flattened or rounded end, in the recess of the closure element of the handle. In this way, a locking of the container is effected.

It is advantageous that the lid is connected via a hinge to the container. The hinge creates a moveable connection between the container and its lid. The hinge is located opposite the closure device of the container.

In order to provide additional support of the voltage applied to the container handle, provides a further advantageous embodiment of the invention that the side of the container is an L-shaped or an upwardly and both sides open arcuate part is arranged. The arcuate part may also have a center in the middle, whereby the spatial distance between the container and the arcuate part is further increased. In the closed state of the container, the handle which abuts the container is then fitted in the L-shaped or arcuate part.

In order to create a closure element of the lid corresponding to the closure element of the handle, it is expedient that the closure element arranged on the lid is a cylindrical part with a flattened or rounded end which is arranged offset from the lid and by means of a connecting piece with the lid connected is.

A practicable variant of the invention provides that the container is oval-shaped. Also, the container may be circular in the invention.

In order to bring about an optimal sealing of the container against leakage and odor development, a further practicable variant of the invention provides that the lid is provided at its edge with a downwardly extending rubber seal. This rubber seal sits in a closed state on the peripheral upper edge of the container. The rubber seal can have a width between 0.5 cm and 2.5 cm. In principle, the container according to the invention can be composed of different materials. Preferably, the lid is made of metal or hard PVC. In addition, the container may be provided with a metal ring which extends from the upper edge of the container downwards, preferably 2 cm to 5 cm.

In order to achieve a further space-saving effect, it is also provided in the context of the invention that the container below the metal ring has a container wall of soft deformable material, in particular made of rubber or foil. A container wall made of soft deformable material has the advantage that it upwards, d. H. in the direction of the metal ring is compressible. The container wall and the metal ring are preferably welded together.

FIG. 1 shows a container according to the invention, which is provided with the reference numeral 100.

The container 100 is, in particular the top view in FIG FIG. 2 illustrated, of oval shape and has a length of about 15 cm and a width of about 6 to 8 cm. The lid 10 is connected via a hinge 1 5 with the metal ring 12 which extends from the upper edge of the container 100 3 to 4 cm down. The hinge has a pin 15 a, which is guided by two holes, which are located on the metal ring 12. The lid 10 is in turn fixedly connected to the pin 15a and rotatable about its longitudinal axis. In the in FIG. 1 illustrated embodiment, the container 100 is in the closed state. The container 100 has a handle 13 which extends in the closed state in the circumferential direction of the container 100. FIG. 1 shows the part of the handle 13, which allows an in-the-hand-taking of the handle 13. The portion of the handle 13 that allows for taking in the hand abuts the container 100 to conform to the shape of the container 100. The metal ring 12 is also provided with an upwardly and on both sides open part 14 into which in the closed state of the container 100, the handle 13 is fitted. By pressing the handle 13 in the direction of arrow P, the handle 13 can be out of the part 14 and insert again. The container wall 11, which is disposed below the metal ring 12 and connected thereto, may be made of materials such as foil or rubber and has a height from about 15 cm up. This can be larger or smaller depending on the intended use of the container 100.

As in FIG. 2 1, the handle 13 initially extends in the circumferential direction of the container 100, and then converges towards the container 100, in such a way that the handle 13, starting from the closure device 16, initially extends at a distance from the container 100, and then centrally between the closure device 16 and the hinge 15 to be fitted in the part 14. The part of the handle 13 that allows taking in hand thus abuts the container 100 so as to conform to the shape of the container 100. In the FIG. 2 shown rubber seal 27a learns in the FIGS. 4 to 9 still a closer explanation.

FIG. 3 representing the view X of the container 100 FIG. 1 The closure device 16 has two complementary closure elements 17, 18. The closure element 17 is part of the handle 13, whereas the closure element 18 is firmly connected to the lid 10. Between the closure element 17 of the handle 13 and the part of the handle 13, the - as in the FIGS. 1 and 2 shown - allows a take in hand, a hinge 19 is arranged. The structural design of the pivot joint 19 is such that 17 small holes not shown here are in the metal plate 20 of the closure element, in which a pin also not shown here is inserted, which is firmly connected to the handle 13 and about the longitudinal axis of the handle 13 is rotatable. On the metal ring 12 side facing the metal plate 20 is a half or three-quarter-sized circular projection 21 which is formed in the metal plate 20 or fixedly connected thereto and has a half or three-quarter-sized circular recess 22. The clear width of the recess 22 is dimensioned so that the recess 22 in a cylindrical portion 23, which is followed by a flattened or rounded end 24, can intervene. The cylindrical one Part 23 with the flattened or rounded end 24 is arranged offset in front of the lid 10 and connected by means of a substantially square connector 25 with the lid. The closure member 17 of the handle 13 is rotatably mounted on the container 100. For this purpose, a circumferential pin-shaped part 26 is mounted and mounted on the container 1 00, whose end remote from the container 100 with the closure element 17 of the handle 13 is fixedly connected. The circumferential pin-shaped part 26 is rotatable about its axis of rotation 27.

If the handle 13 from the in FIG. 1 and 2 Part 14 shown out and the in FIG. 3 completed rotational movement D, sets the in FIG. 4 illustrated rotation R of the pin-shaped part 26 about its axis of rotation 27 a. The mutually corresponding closure elements 17, 18 are so decoupled and the container 100 is unlocked.

FIG. 5 that the view Y out FIG. 3 shows the cylindrical part 23 with the flattened or rounded end 24 which is fixedly connected to the connecting piece 18. In order to ensure a firm locking of the container 100, it is provided that the projection 21 is non-positively and / or positively secured against withdrawal transversely to the longitudinal axis of the cylindrical part 23. A sufficient frictional connection can be made by the cylindrical part 23 and the recess 22 of the projection 21 are matched to one another such that under elastic deformation of the projection results in a tight fit on the inner boundary surfaces of the projection 21. Possibly. one can support this seat by positive engagement by providing the cylindrical part 23 and the inner boundary surfaces of the projection 21 with a plurality of grooves and projections which engage in engagement of the cylindrical part 23 in the recess 22 into each other. It is also conceivable that the in FIG. 3 shown depression 22 in the projection 21 is such that they have mutually divergently extending boundary surfaces inside, whereby the cylindrical part 23 can be latched into the recess and finds a firm hold.

Still goes out FIG. 4 shown that the lid 10 is provided at its edge with the downwardly extending rubber seal 27a. This rubber seal 27a is seated in a closed state of the container 100 on the peripheral upper edge 28 of the container 100th Die FIGS. 6 and 7 show that the container wall 11 of the container 100 may also be parabolic. In this case, the container wall 11 consists of a compressible and elastic material, such as, for example, foil or rubber.

As well as FIG. 6 illustrated, the lid 10 is provided at its edge with a groove 29 in which the rubber seal 27a extends.

From the FIGS. 8 and 9 shows that the container wall 11, if it consists of a compressible and elastic material such as rubber, plastic or foil, is compressible to form folds 30, 31, whereby the container 100 undergoes a further space-saving structural design. The material of the container wall 11 is selected so that uniformly deep folds 31 are formed ( FIG. 9 ) or number and depth of wrinkles varies ( FIG. 8 ).

The cover 10 also has a recess 32 which is formed integrally with the remaining part of the lid 10. The recess 32 is formed centrally of the lid 10 and in the form of an open hemisphere. The recess 32 may also be round or oval-shaped and have a bottom. The lid 10 is provided with a handle member 33, which makes it possible to take the lid 10 into the hand and is connected to the recess 32. Like from the FIGS. 8 and 9 Furthermore, it can be seen, the handle member 33 is connected to the side wall 34 of the recess 32. The handle member 33 is elongated and has two connection points 35, 36 with the edge 37 of the recess 32.
