Abstract

The device has a base part (13) i.e. ring, integrated to a container during utilization of the container. A blocking unit (60) is rotatably moved between active and inactive positions in which the unit opposes and permits insertion of a hollow distribution rod e.g. pump rod, through an end fitting (20), respectively. The end fitting is coupled to the rod, and is displaced by a user to distribute a product. The unit conserves the active or inactive position brought by the user, when the user stops his action on the unit. The unit is connected to the base part by a hinge (61). An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a safety device.
