Durch diese Anordnung wird eine Drehbewegung des Betätigungselementes 11 um seine Rotationsachse R in eine Translationsbewegung des Eingriffselementes 8 in Bewegungsrichtung L umgewandelt, wobei die Rotationsachse R mit der Bewegungsrichtung L beim dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel einen im Wesentlichen rechten Winkel einschließt. Claims (8)

  1. A furniture item having at least a first and a second furniture portion of which the first furniture portion is mounted stationarily and the second furniture portion is mounted movably to the furniture carcass and which are movable relative to each other, and a lockable ejection device arranged on the first furniture portion for moving the movable furniture portion out of a closed end position into an open position and an engagement element which is arranged on the second furniture portion and which at least in a part of the opening/closing path of the movable furniture portion is in engagement with the ejection device, characterised in that the engagement element (8) is mounted on the second furniture portion (4) displaceably with respect to the first furniture portion (3).
  2. A furniture item as set forth in claim 1, characterised in that the engagement element (8) is mounted on the second furniture portion (4) adjustably displaceably by means of a displacement device (9).
  3. A furniture item as set forth in claim 2, characterised in that the displacement device (9) has a housing (10) which is arranged on the second furniture portion (4) and in which the engagement element (8) is mounted displaceably in the opening/closing direction (OAR, SR) of the movable furniture portion (3, 4).
  4. A furniture item as set forth in claim 2 or claim 3, characterised in that the preferably self-locking displacement device (9) is adapted to convert a rotary movement into a translatory movement, wherein a rotatably mounted actuating element (11) which has a spiral-shaped sliding guide is operatively connected to the linearly movable engagement element (8).
  5. A furniture portion as set forth in claim 4, characterised in that the axis of rotation (R) of the actuating element (1) includes a substantially right angle with the direction of movement (2) of the engagement element (8).
  6. A furniture portion as set forth in one of claims 1 through 5, characterised in that the lockable ejection device (5) is in the form of a touch-latch mechanism.
  7. A furniture portion as set forth in one of claims 1 through 6, characterised in that the lockable ejection device (5) is arranged in a housing (6) and has a receiving element (7) which is mounted movably in the housing (6) and which is adapted for engagement with the engagement element (8) arranged on the second furniture portion (4).
  8. A furniture portion as set forth in claim 7, characterised in that the direction of movement of the movable receiving element (7) in the housing (6) includes an angle of greater than zero, preferably between 2° and 15°, with the opening/closing direction (OR, SR) of the movable furniture portion (3, 4).
