  • BoNT / A to BoNT / G The anaerobic, gram-positive bacterium C. botulinum produces seven different serotypes of clostridial neurotoxins. These are referred to as the botulinum neurotoxins (BoNT / A to BoNT / G). Of these, BoNT / A and BoNT / B in particular cause a neuroparalytic disorder in humans and animals called botulism.
