Außen am Drehring 7 ist im gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel eine Entfernungsskala 17 angeordnet, die die eingestellte Entfernung anzeigt. Im gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel ist durch eine entsprechende Länge der Längsnut 14 der maximal mögliche Drehwinkel des Drehrings 7 auf < 180° begrenzt. Der Drehwinkel kann aber auch 360° oder einen beliebigen anderen Winkel betragen. Der Anschlag ist jeweils entsprechend auszubilden. Diese kann mit dem Gehäuse 11 verschraubbar sein, um ein unabsichtliches Verstellen des Drehknopfes 6 und damit der Zielmarkenverstelleinrichtung zu verhindern. In einem bevorzugten Ausführungsbeispiel kann aber auch vorgesehen sein, dass die Kappe 18 der Kopplung der Zielmarkenverstelleinrichtung 4 mit der Fokusverstelleinrichtung 3 zur automatischen entfernungsabhängigen Ballistikkorrektur dient. In diesem Fall kann die Kappe 18 in zwei in vertikaler Richtung 24 voneinander beabstandete Endlagen auf dem Drehknopf 6 bewegt werden. In der unteren Endlage greift die außen an der Kappe 18 angebrachte Verzahnung 22 in eine entsprechende Innenverzahnung 23 am Drehring 7 ein. In dieser Stellung sind die Zielmarkenverstelleinrichtung 4 und die Fokusverstelleinrichtung 3 miteinander gekoppelt. In der oberen Endlage der Kappe 18 ist dann vorgesehen, dass die Verzahnung 22 und 23 nicht mehr ineinander greifen, womit die Zielmarkenverstelleinrichtung 4 und Fokusverstelleinrichtung 3 entkoppelt und damit unabhängig voneinander bedienbar sind. Diese Entkoppelung ist zum Beispiel auch zur Grundjustierung bzw. Anpassung des Zielfernrohres an die Waffe sinnvoll. Im gekoppelten Zustand ergibt sich über die Kappe 18 und den Ring 17 eine insgesamt relativ große Angriffsfläche zur manuellen Bedienung und die automatische entfernungsabhängige Ballistikkorrektur.As an attachment to the
