Description

The invention relates to a device for a plug insert with a plug cable, which is arranged axially displaceably within a plug housing.

Such a connector housing is required to use connectors with their own Kontaktverrastung in industrial environments.

Stand der TechnikState of the art

In many cases, plug connectors are known which, for reasons of the length of the plug-in connection or for tolerance compensation, have a catch arranged directly on the contact. These notches make sure the end position in the inserted state. When plugging in the pairs of contacts are brought together and the connectors held by compression springs against each other. The locking is thereby brought about with displaceable holding means. The connector housing makes a relative movement to the contact and thus also to the connected cable.
This shift is only possible with a semi-open design of the connector and is quite common in the office - with no burden of dust and water. However, if a higher degree of protection is necessary, with an additional protective housing with its own latching and sealing contour, a relative movement between contact and Kontaktverrastung is no longer possible.

DE 202 06 391 U offenbart eine Vorrichtung gemäß Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1. DE 202 06 391 U discloses a device according to the preamble of claim 1.

Aufgabenstellungtask

The invention is therefore based on the object to form a plug housing of the type mentioned in that the plug insert with the connected cable performs a shift in the insertion direction within the plug housing.

This object is achieved in that a sliding element is provided on the plug housing, in which the plug cable is fixed, that the sliding element has locking arms which point into the plug housing and that is held between the locking arms of the plug insert.

Advantageous embodiments of the invention are specified in claims 2-6.

The advantages achieved by the invention are in particular that within a plug housing, a plug insert is arranged, which is connected to an electrical cable within the connector housing can perform an axial relative movement for tolerance compensation with a mating connector, or can accommodate connectors with their own Kontaktverrastung.
It is provided that at the cable end of the plug housing, a lug is formed on which a circumferential seal is arranged in a groove, and that on this approach, a sliding element is pushed. The sliding element has a holding device, which is formed from a plurality of tongue-shaped locking arms or guide rails.
The locking arms engage through an opening in the connector housing and engage with provided hooks at the edges of the opening, so that the sliding element is held captive, wherein it is provided to arrange the hooks on the locking hook that a certain predetermined sliding path between the connector housing and sliding element is made possible.
At the same time, the two guide rails are guided in corresponding guide grooves in the collar of the plug housing, which advantageously prevent a rotation of the sliding element relative to the plug housing.
An electric cable fixed within the sliding element by means of a cable seal and a pressure screw can now be displaced relative to the plug housing by the predetermined sliding path, wherein due to the sealing effect of the circumferential seal on the collar of the plug housing and the sliding element, an environmentally sealed plug casing is formed and at the same time maintain the high pull-out forces for the electrical cable.
Furthermore, a plug insert is inserted between the locking arms of the sliding sleeve, which is held axially displaceable in a recess in the wall of the plug housing. Whereby advantageously the sliding path of the plug insert coincides with the sliding path of the sliding sleeve.
In addition, a spring surrounding the plug insert may be arranged between the plug insert and the plug housing, which spring continuously presses the plug insert in the plug-in direction. If the connector housing is inserted against a mating connector, the connector insert is constantly and stably pressed against the mating connector.

Fig.1

Fig. 2
Fig. 3a, b
An embodiment of the invention is illustrated in the drawing and will be explained in more detail below. Show it:
Fig.1
a connector housing shown in section in not plugged position,
Fig. 2
an illustrated in section connector housing in the inserted position, and
Fig. 3a, b

In the Fig.1 is a sectional view of a connector 1 with a connector housing 10 with a device for the axial displacement of an electric cable 5 is shown.
The plug housing 10 is provided on the plug side with integrally formed latching elements for fixing with a mating plug.
On the cable side, a sliding element 25 is pushed onto a collar 11 of the plug housing 10. On the sliding element a plurality of locking arms 26 are formed, which extend through an opening 13 in the connector housing 10. At least two of the locking arms securing hooks 27 are provided, by means of which the sliding element is held captive on the rear wall 12 of the plug housing. The hooks are arranged such that the sliding sleeve is axially displaceable by a certain distance C with respect to the connector housing.
Between the Arretierungsarmen is inserted with a Anformung 22 of the plug insert 20. At the same time, the plug insert is guided in a recess 14 in the wall of the plug housing.
In this case, the sliding path C within the recess 14 corresponds to the sliding path C, which is provided for the sliding element, while the distance B between the shoulder 11 and the sliding element plays no role here.
Between the plug insert 20 and the rear wall 12 of the plug housing 10, a pressure-designed spring 40 is arranged around the Anformung 22 of the plug insert and the Arretierungsarmen26 around, so that the plug insert 20 is constantly pressed in the insertion direction against the lower stop edge 16 of the recess 14.
Wherein the spring 40 can be used optionally.
The sliding element 25 is pushed on the cable side on the shoulder 11 of the plug housing 10, wherein the interspace of which is sealed by circumferential in a groove 18 seal 19 against environmental influences.

In the sliding element 25, the electrical cable 5 is guided with its individual electrical conductors 6 within a cable seal 42 and can be fixed by means of a pressure screw 44 which can be screwed on from the outside.

The Fig. 2 shows the connector 10 in a mated position with a mating connector 35 which is disposed in a flange 30, wherein the two connectors are connected by latching means, formed by mutually latching hooks 17, 31 with each other.
By squeezing the two laterally arranged Entriegelungsflügel 33, the hooks 31, 17 are separated from each other and the connector 1 can be removed from the flange 30.
In the plugged here state it can be seen that the two plug inserts with their contact surfaces 21, 36 are exactly adjacent to each other, the upper plug insert 20 abuts the upper abutment end 15 of the recess 14, due to the pressure of the mating connector.
But at least the plug insert 20 is pressed by the spring 40 against the lower mating connector 35.
At the same time the increased distance (A) between the approach to the cable end of the connector and the sliding sleeve is recognizable, which is clear why the electrical cable 5 must be displaced within the connector to a specific tow.

In the Fig. 3a, 3b the cable-side end of the connector housing is shown, wherein the plug-side region of the housing is hidden or cut off.
It shows the Fig. 3a the connector housing 10 and separated from the sliding element 25 from the insertion direction, while in the Fig. 3b Sliding element and connector housing from the cable side view are shown. The sliding member 25 has four protruding from the sleeve shape, strip-shaped holding devices, of which two oppositely disposed, elongated designed as locking arms 26 tongues are provided, and two shorter, formed as a guide rail 28 strips, each guided in a guide groove 13.1 within the opening 13 are, so that the sliding element 25 is held against rotation on the plug housing when the pressure screw 44 is screwed onto the external thread 29 after cable assembly.
While the guide rails are disposed within the extension formed by the collar 11 of the connector, the locking arms 26 extend through the opening 13 and prevent by means of molded securing hooks 27 falling out of the sliding element from the opening when the safety hooks at the edge of the opening 13 on the rear wall Strike 12.
Between the two locking arms 26, the Anformung 22 of the plug insert 20 is positioned in the connector mounting, so that the locking arms remain constantly spread.
