Dabei wird der Hauptausleger horizontal gestellt und der Heckausleger heruntergeklappt oder demontiert. In dieser unteren Stellung wird die Traverse 34 mit den Bolzen im Heckrahmen 31 befestigt. In weiterer Folge werden die Bolzen zwischen Heckrahmen 31 und den Verbindungselementen 38 gelöst, die Elemente 38 hochgeklappt und am Heckträger 33 mit den Bolzen befestigt. Letztlich wird der Heckauslegerzylinder 35 eingefahren und der Heckträger 33 zusammen mit dem Ausrüstungsträger 36 nach vorne geneigt, so dass nun die Transportstellung eingenommen worden und die Fahrzeughöhe reduziert ist. Zur Vermeidung eines ungewollten Aufstellens des Heckauslegers 30 während des Transportes kann dieser dadurch gesichert werden, dass die obere Bolzenverbindung zwischen den Verbindungselementen 38 und Heckträger 34 gelöst und die Elemente 38 heruntergeklappt werden, die ihrerseits in der mittleren Position mit dem Heckrahmen 31 mittels Bolzen verbunden werden. Diese Elemente 38 verhindern dann ein ungewolltes Aufstellen.
