Definitions
- the invention relates to a flat refractory closure, in particular a glass door for fire protection purposes, to avoid the passage of fire and smoke in case of fire from a first room in an adjacent second room. with at least one fire protection pane, which carries a metal profile on at least one edge.
- a generic degree is from the DE 94 00 536.2 U1 known.
- the glass door described therein has a fire screen, which is held on its vertical sides by U-shaped steel profiles.
- the steel profiles include the edges of the fire protection pane.
- Such a glass door has proven itself. For one, it is simple and made up of only a few components. This creates a particularly narrow glass door, which not only has visual advantages, but also improves their handling when opening and closing because of the low weight of the glass door. On the other hand, the well-known glass door provides good fire protection. With a pane thickness of approx. 17 mm, fire protection of over 30 minutes is achieved in practice.
- a fire door according to the preamble of claim 1 which has a fire protection pane which carries at least one edge of a metal profile, wherein the metal profile is divided in the region of the end face of the fire protection pane.
- partial profiles each overlap one of the side surfaces of the fire protection pane and the end surface connecting the side surfaces partially.
- the sub-profiles further comprise in each case a first leg and a second leg as well as a web extending substantially perpendicularly from the first leg.
- the invention has for its object to provide a flat refractory closure of the type mentioned, which meets higher fire protection requirements while maintaining a narrow construction.
- a flat refractory closure in particular a glass door for fire protection purposes, to avoid the crossing of fire and smoke in case of fire from a first room in an adjacent second room, with at least one fire panel, which carries at least one edge of a metal profile, which is divided in the region of the end face of the fire protection pane, wherein the sub-profiles in each case one of the side surfaces of the fire protection pane and the side surfaces connecting end face partially overlap and are spaced from each other, wherein the sub-profiles each have a first leg and a second leg and a substantially perpendicular of the first leg outgoing web, which is associated with the end face of the fire protection pane, wherein between the second legs and the webs a continuous layer of heat-resistant and refractory material is added, proposed, which characterized gekennzeic hnet is that the web is directly connected by a fire-resistant sealing material with the fire panel.
- the invention is based on the finding that in order to increase the fire protection time, the known construction of fire protection panel with its edges comprising U-profiles can not be easily enlarged in scale. For example, a fire panel of about 43 mm thick would correspond to a fire protection period of over 90 minutes.
- U-profiles adapted to such a pane thickness have always led to a failure of the overall construction in tests. Originally, the failure was attributed to overheating of the disc. The failure, however, has as a cause that the profiles in the case of fire on the side facing the fire strongly heat, while the other side of the profiles remains relatively cold. This results in such a strong deformation of the profile that either the bond between the profile and the fire protection pane or the fire protection pane itself is destroyed by the applied mechanical load.
- the invention provides a remedy.
- the heat transfer from the fire side to the opposite side is interrupted by the division of the metal profile.
- the split metal profile has significantly longer service life than previously thought possible with a slim metal construction.
- a heat-resistant and refractory material and / or a material rising under the action of heat is arranged between the partial profiles at least in the region of the division.
- the heat-resistant and refractory material also serves to inhibit the heat transfer, including the heat transfer between the end face of the fire protection pane and one of these associated fixed frame.
- the heat rising material foams up as soon as it reaches a critical temperature. It thus seals the area between the partial profiles assigned to the fire protection pane and the fixed frame.
- the sub-profiles each comprise a first leg and a second leg and a substantially perpendicular from the first leg outgoing web, which is associated with the end face of the fire protection pane.
- Such sub-profiles have the form of a U-L profile and are easy to produce. Between the web, the corresponding portion of the first leg and the fire-protection pane itself, a fire-resistant sealing material is introduced for fastening the partial profile and sealing against the fire protection pane.
- a silicone rubber can be used which prevents the passage of fire and smoke at said location.
- the refractory and refractory material is received as a continuous layer between the second legs and the lands.
- a preferred embodiment of the invention is characterized in that at least one of the sub-profiles is associated with at least one bolt which engages in a the first space of the second space separating position of the closure in a frame associated with the conclusion.
- the at least one bolt prevents the partial or overall profile from being released from its anchorage in case of fire.
- the bolt can be attached to the second leg of at least one of the sub-profiles, preferably bolted.
- the material which rises under the action of heat can in principle be used at any point between the partial profiles. It has proved to be particularly favorable to arrange the rising material as a vertical strip between the sub-profiles. In a further development, it is proposed that the strip has substantially the thickness of the second leg and forms a substantially continuous smooth outer surface with the latter. This is also advantageous from an optical point of view, namely, for example, when the closure according to the invention is designed as a pivotable door, the rear vertical end face of which can be seen when opening.
- the rising material can in principle rest directly on the heat-resistant and refractory material.
- the termination When the strip of heat-generating material is placed between the two pins, the termination is particularly well protected against fire in both directions.
- the bolt facing away from the fire, regardless of which side of the termination the fire occurs on, is always protected by the heat-rising material and can thus fulfill its function without restriction.
- the fire protection pane on its side facing away from the articulation vertical side has a multi-limbed wood profile, which forms the free end of the door with a flat back.
- the legs of the multi-limbed wood profile point towards the hinged end of the door.
- areas of heat resistant and refractory material are disposed between the wood profile and the fire panel. Grooves are formed between the legs, in the bottom of which, according to a further feature of the invention, a material rising under the action of heat is received. As explained above, the rising material closes any openings in case of fire, in the present case, the gap between the wood profile and a wood frame associated fixed frame or another wood profile, which is associated with an opposite also hinged glass door.
- Fig. 1 shows a trained as a glass door 1 refractory finish.
- the glass door 1 is connected on its upper side via a linkage 2 with a pivot pin 3.
- the linkage 2 is fixed in the illustrated embodiment directly on a fire protection panel 4, via (only indicated) screws 5.
- a separate support structure may be provided which holds the fire protection pane 4.
- the fire protection pane 4 carries a metal profile consisting of a first partial profile 6 and a second partial profile 7, wherein the partial profiles 6, 7 are connected to the fire protection pane 4 via a silicone adhesive 8.
- the sub-profiles 6, 7 each have a first leg 9 and a second leg 10. Of the first leg 9 is substantially perpendicular to a web 11 from. The latter partially overlaps the end face of the fire protection pane, while a corresponding section of the first leg partially overlaps the respective side face of the fire protection pane.
- a layer 13 of heat-resistant and refractory material is added between the second legs 10 and the webs 11, a layer 13 of heat-resistant and refractory material is added.
- a strip 14 is arranged from under heat acting up material, the strip 14 is covered by a cover strip 15 which forms a substantially continuous smooth outer surface with the legs 10.
- the cover strip 15 can be dispensed with the cover strip 15, in which case the strip 14 preferably has substantially the thickness of the legs 10 and flush with these outwardly.
- the hinged glass door 1 is associated with a fixed frame 16, which consists essentially of wood.
- the frame is covered at its free surfaces with a metal layer 17 to make the frame less flammable in case of fire.
- a layer 13 of heat-resistant and refractory material and a layer 14 made of heat-rising material are also arranged in the wooden frame. Both layers are outwardly covered for optical reasons with the metal layer 17, so that there is a uniform and compact appearance when the glass door is open.
- each a bolt 19 is screwed, which engages in the closed glass door into corresponding openings in the frame 16.
- Bolts 19 hold the part profiles in this case in position, the arrangement ensures on both sides of the heat-rising layer 14 that in any case the side facing away from the fire is held.
- several bolts 19 can be provided along the vertical end face of the glass door for a better grip in case of fire.
- Fig. 2 shows a second embodiment of a refractory closure, which is designed as a double swing door.
- the left-hand arrangement in the figure corresponds to the embodiment according to Fig. 1 , Only the bolts 19 are omitted. In that regard, reference is made to the figure description of the first embodiment.

Such a glass door has proven itself. For one, it is simple and made up of only a few components. The invention has for its object to provide a flat refractory closure of the type mentioned, which meets higher fire protection requirements while maintaining a narrow construction.
To achieve this object, a flat refractory closure, in particular a glass door for fire protection purposes, to avoid the crossing of fire and smoke in case of fire from a first room in an adjacent second room, with at least one fire panel, which carries at least one edge of a metal profile, which is divided in the region of the end face of the fire protection pane, wherein the sub-profiles in each case one of the side surfaces of the fire protection pane and the side surfaces connecting end face partially overlap and are spaced from each other, wherein the sub-profiles each have a first leg and a second leg and a substantially perpendicular of the first leg outgoing web, which is associated with the end face of the fire protection pane, wherein between the second legs and the webs a continuous layer of heat-resistant and refractory material is added, proposed, which characterized gekennzeic hnet is that the web is directly connected by a fire-resistant sealing material with the fire panel.
The invention is based on the finding that in order to increase the fire protection time, the known construction of fire protection panel with its edges comprising U-profiles can not be easily enlarged in scale. For example, a fire panel of about 43 mm thick would correspond to a fire protection period of over 90 minutes. However, U-profiles adapted to such a pane thickness have always led to a failure of the overall construction in tests.
Here, the invention provides a remedy. According to the invention, the heat transfer from the fire side to the opposite side is interrupted by the division of the metal profile. The split metal profile has significantly longer service life than previously thought possible with a slim metal construction.
Es dichtet so den Bereich zwischen den der Brandschutzscheibe zugeordneten Teilprofilen und dem feststehenden Rahmen ab.Preferably, a heat-resistant and refractory material and / or a material rising under the action of heat is arranged between the partial profiles at least in the region of the division. The heat-resistant and refractory material also serves to inhibit the heat transfer, including the heat transfer between the end face of the fire protection pane and one of these associated fixed frame. The heat rising material foams up as soon as it reaches a critical temperature. It thus seals the area between the partial profiles assigned to the fire protection pane and the fixed frame.
According to the invention, the sub-profiles each comprise a first leg and a second leg and a substantially perpendicular from the first leg outgoing web, which is associated with the end face of the fire protection pane. Such sub-profiles have the form of a U-L profile and are easy to produce. Between the web, the corresponding portion of the first leg and the fire-protection pane itself, a fire-resistant sealing material is introduced for fastening the partial profile and sealing against the fire protection pane.
For example, a silicone rubber can be used which prevents the passage of fire and smoke at said location.
The refractory and refractory material is received as a continuous layer between the second legs and the lands.
A preferred embodiment of the invention is characterized in that at least one of the sub-profiles is associated with at least one bolt which engages in a the first space of the second space separating position of the closure in a frame associated with the conclusion. The at least one bolt prevents the partial or overall profile from being released from its anchorage in case of fire. When forming the sub-profiles with two legs and an outgoing from the one leg web, the bolt can be attached to the second leg of at least one of the sub-profiles, preferably bolted.
The material which rises under the action of heat can in principle be used at any point between the partial profiles. The rising material can in principle rest directly on the heat-resistant and refractory material.
When the strip of heat-generating material is placed between the two pins, the termination is particularly well protected against fire in both directions. The bolt facing away from the fire, regardless of which side of the termination the fire occurs on, is always protected by the heat-rising material and can thus fulfill its function without restriction.
In one embodiment of the closure according to the invention as a door, which is hinged on one side, it is proposed that the fire protection pane on its side facing away from the articulation vertical side has a multi-limbed wood profile, which forms the free end of the door with a flat back.
The legs of the multi-limbed wood profile point towards the hinged end of the door. Preferably, areas of heat resistant and refractory material are disposed between the wood profile and the fire panel.
In the context of a double door consisting of two glass doors, it is proposed that on both sides of the fire screen vertical wooden strips extend, each connected at least with the refractory and refractory material, with a wooden strip goes beyond the free end of the conclusion and the other wooden strip is reset against the free end of the door. The wooden strips can be connected via dowels with the refractory material. The wider of the two wooden strips serves as a stop on a fixed frame or on an associated opposite glass door. In the second case, the wooden strip with the multi-limbed Cooperate profile of the other door, wherein between the wooden strip and the multi-limb profile, a (rubber) seal can be provided.
In order to make the wood less flammable, at least the wooden strips are covered on their free surfaces by a metal layer. This also ensures a pleasing look.

The
Between the
The hinged glass door 1 is associated with a fixed
Between the
In the
