- Such a switching device with a terminal device is made DE 196 14 371 A1 known.
- the terminal device here has a lid in which a plurality of terminal screws are held.
- the terminal screws each consist of a screw, an L-shaped washer, which is loosely and rotatably supported, and a spring washer.
- the L-shaped washer has a shim portion and a guide plate portion projecting at right angles thereto.
- the terminal screws for closing and opening a formed with a terminal strip terminal point are performed, which is designed for conductor connection by means of ring cable lug.
- a coupling jaw is provided at the installation of each terminal screw, the tip holds the respective terminal screw in the open state of the terminal point.
- the terminal screw After loosening the clamping point, the terminal screw must be brought into the position by means of a suitable additional tool in the position in which it is held by the tip of the coupling jaw in the open state for re-connection of a conductor by means of ring cable lug.
- the assembly comprises a holder and a screw held by the latter, which together with a connection piece forms a clamping point by means of a ring cable lug.
- the holder is movable between an open and closed state by a rotational movement and acted upon by a spring element which holds it in the open state when the clamping point is released.
- the invention has for its object to improve a switching device of the type mentioned above to the effect that a simple and secure attachment of a conductor connection is achieved by means of ring cable lug.
- the object is achieved in that the holder is linearly movable between an open and closed state of the clamping point and is acted upon by a spring element, which keeps it in the opened state with dissolved clamping point.
- This makes it possible to make a new connection of a conductor by means of ring cable lug after loosening the terminal point, without an additional tool is needed. This is a significant advantage for the assembly, which significantly reduces the time required and thus the cost.
- a further advantageous embodiment of the invention is when the assembly is guided and held by guide grooves during assembly. This design not only ensures safe guidance during assembly, but also a good mounting of the assembly.
- FIG. 1 shows a holder 1 and a combination screw 2 in unassembled state.

- the holder 1 also has on opposite side surfaces guide grooves 8 to the preassembled module 5 according to FIG. 3 inserted into a correspondingly formed connection chamber of a housing with side walls 7 in the direction of arrow c.
- the side walls 7 are equipped with guide webs 14.
- the guide webs 14 also serve to hold the assembly 5 in the housing 6.
- the housing 6 of the switching device 13 according to the invention has according to FIG. 3 several such connection chambers, in each of which an assembly 5 of the above-described design for conductor connection by means of ring cable lug can be inserted.
- the entire unit of housing 6 with the inserted assemblies is referred to as a clamping device 9 ( FIG. 4 ).
- FIG. 5 shows in cross section the clamping device 9 with the assembly 5 in the mounted state, which is locked captive in the housing 6 via a latching hook 10.
- the connecting piece 11 is arranged, which forms together with the combination screw 2 a clamping point for the conductor connection by means of ring cable lug.
- FIG. 5 also shows the position of the module before the clamping device is plugged onto the device as a connection module (alternative 1).
- FIG. 6 shows the terminal point in the open state, ie the distance d for the mounting of the ring cable lug is given.
- a constriction 12 is provided in the housing 6, on which the spring element 3 is supported (alternative 2).
- the clamping point is in the closed state, ie the screw 2 is screwed into the thread of the connector 11.
- FIG. 8 shows in cross section a section of the switching device 13 with a snapped clamping device 9 after FIG. 5 in which the spring element 3 is biased by the switching device 13.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a switching device with a conductor connection by means of a ring cable lug, which has a preassembled module comprising a holder and a combination screw held by the latter, which together with a connection piece forms a clamping point for a conductor connection by means of a ring cable lug.

The invention has for its object to improve a switching device of the type mentioned above to the effect that a simple and secure attachment of a conductor connection is achieved by means of ring cable lug.
The object is achieved in that the holder is linearly movable between an open and closed state of the clamping point and is acted upon by a spring element, which keeps it in the opened state with dissolved clamping point. This makes it possible to make a new connection of a conductor by means of ring cable lug after loosening the terminal point, without an additional tool is needed. This is a significant advantage for the assembly, which significantly reduces the time required and thus the cost.
An advantageous development of the invention is when the assembly is not provided with a cover, as in this case, the nip is clearly visible and thus it is recognizable at a glance, whether the nip is in the open or closed state.
A further advantageous embodiment of the invention is when the assembly is guided and held by guide grooves during assembly. This design not only ensures safe guidance during assembly, but also a good mounting of the assembly.
