Definitions
- the invention relates to an electric hair trimmer according to the Oberbergriff of claim 1.
- a device is known, according to which a cutting head is pivotally mounted about an axis on the housing of the device, and wherein a cutting comb, two cutting blades are assigned, which in each case depending on the pivotal position of the cutting head with a drive element of the drive can be coupled. The respective other cutting blade is then decoupled, so that always only one cutting unit is driven ben.
- the axis about which the cutting head is pivotable runs parallel to the cutting edges of the cutting combs or cutting blades.
- the storage of the cutting head is done on both sides by a fork-shaped receptacle in the housing of the hair clipper.
- the pivot axis is central to the two cutting elements.
- the EP 1 216 799 A2 shows a hair clipper with a rotatably mounted on the upper housing front side double shear system, wherein the axis of rotation is perpendicular to the plane defined by the two shear systems plane.
- Another hair clipper which has a pivotable cutting head with two cutting systems - a narrower and a wider - has.
- the cutting head is mounted on both sides in a housing, wherein the pivot axis is perpendicular to a plane formed by the two cutting systems.
- the pivot axis is central to the two cutting elements. So that the cutting head of this hair trimmer can be rotated relative to the housing even when the motor is switched on, a coupling device is provided, through which the drive connection between the engine and the shearing system temporarily interrupts for this turning process.
- Both known hair trimmers require the user a considerable handling effort to perform the pivoting of the cutting head. In particular, a one-hand operation during the pivoting process is not possible.
- the invention is therefore based on the object clearly to improve the operation of a rotatably mounted on a housing of a hair clipper having a hair clipper further cutting system; In particular, a one-hand operation is to be made possible.
- the inventive solution can create an arrangement which allows the user, for example, to pivot with the thumb of the device comprehensive hand, the further cutting system when needed about its axis of rotation, which greatly improves the ease of use of such a hair clipper.
- a particularly advantageous hair cutting or shaving system is provided, wherein the support body is rotatably disposed on the outside of the housing of a shaving device having a short hair cutting system.
- the short-hair cutting system serves to thoroughly shave hair, while the one or more stored in the support body cutting systems can be designed as long-hair trimmer different width. These systems can then be easily pivoted in one-handed operation in their operating position.
- a drive means for actuating the at least one cutting system is arranged such that it acts on the shearing element to be moved or a component connected thereto in the immediate region of the axis of rotation, it is possible to pivot the cutting system even when the drive is switched on. This improves handling even further.
- the cutting system advantageously has a cutting comb with associated cutting blade, so that it can be used as a hair trimmer or long-hair trimmer. Both the cutting comb and the cutting blade in this case have teeth whose edges form the cutting edges.
- a preferred embodiment of the invention provides that two diametrically opposed cutting systems are mounted in the support body, wherein advantageously the axis of rotation extends eccentrically with respect to these two cutting systems.
- two different cutting systems which then each have a suitable position relative to the housing of the hair trimmer in the corresponding operating state.
- two long-hair trimmer systems can be formed, each consisting of a cutting comb and an associated cutting blade, which each have a different width extension.
- a relatively wide executed long-hair trimmer for shortening longer hair can be combined with a narrower contour cutter for cutting finer contours and bring by appropriate pivoting of the support body in working position.
- the contour cutter when pivoting in the working position in a position particularly exposed to the housing move, making the work area for this cutting tool for the user particularly visible and not is covered by the housing or related parts.
- the two cutting systems are advantageously operated by common drive means, which keeps the construction and assembly costs low.
- both the short hair cutting system and the shear elements mounted in the supporting body are driven by a common motor.
- a particular flexibility with respect to the positioning of the cutting elements relative to the housing of the hair trimmer can be realized if the support body is mounted linearly displaceable on the housing, so that in a simple way far apart-lying operating positions can be controlled.
- longitudinally displaceable long hair cutting systems known, but these are not pivotally mounted about an axis.
- FIG. 1 shows a known dry shaver 1 with a housing 2 and a Kurzhaarschneidsystem 3.
- the Kurzhaarschneidsystem consists of a trained as a shear foil upper blade 4 under which a graphically not shown lower blade is oscillated back and forth.
- the housing accommodates the drive motor required for this purpose, as well as possibly electrical storage cells and / or a mains and charging unit for supplying power to the drive motor.
- On the back of the housing 2, an on / off switch 5 is arranged.
- the power supply of the drive motor is switched, which drives the unillustrated lower blade of Kurzhaarschneidsystems 3 in the on state oscillating and the permanent drive of a protruding from the housing 2 drive element 6 is used.
- the drive element 6 is driven as the lower blade oscillating parallel to the transverse axis of the dry shaver.
- a slide switch 7 is arranged, on which the support body 8 is mounted, in which a first and a second long-hair cutting system 9 and 10 is arranged.
- the slide switch 7 is slidably mounted along the longitudinal axis of the housing 2.
- the support body 8 in turn is pivotally mounted about the axis of rotation 11 on the slide switch 7.
- the axis of rotation 11 is substantially perpendicular to the Front of the case.
- the linear displacement of the Scheibeschalters on the housing 2 is realized by known measures such as carriage-like longitudinal guides. These are not shown in the drawing.
- the structure of the preassembled unit of slide switch 7 and support body 8 is clear from the Fig. 7 to 9 out.
- the slide switch 7 consists essentially of the base plate 12 and the cover shell 13, which is provided with recessed grips 14.
- the base plate 12 serves for longitudinally displaceable mounting on the housing 2; between the base plate 12 and the cover shell 13, a U-shaped bow spring 15 is provided.
- a double lever 16 is mounted on the base plate 12, for this purpose, the base plate has a bearing 17, which serves for the rotatable mounting of the double lever 16 at its central pivot bearing 18.
- the double lever 16 At the upper end of the double lever 16 is a transversely extending in the direction of the cover 13 extending drive pin 19, while at the lower end also transversely extending coupling cheeks 20 are formed, but extend in the opposite direction, ie to the housing 2 out.
- the coupling cheeks 20 protrude through the oval recess 21 which is provided in the base plate 12.
- a circular cutout 22 is provided, which surrounds the drive pin 19 in the assembled state.
- the cutout 22 extends concentrically around the drive pin 19 when the double lever 16 in the in the FIGS. 7 to 9 is shown center position.
- the cutout 22 is bounded by a circumferential collar 23, which serves to support the mounting plate 24.
- the mounting plate 24 has a circular cutout 25 whose diameter corresponds to that of the cutout 22.
- the mounting plate 24 and the cover 13 are pivotally connected to each other by the hinge 26.
- the rotary joint 26 consists of a bearing ring 27 on which two diametrically opposed axially extending mounting domes 28 are formed. While the mounting plate 24 rests on the cover shell 13 on the front side of the collar 23, the bearing ring 27 contacts the collar 23 on the rear or inside of the cover 13.
- the mounting domes 28 protrude through both the cutout 22 and the circular cutout 25 and serve together with a circumferential shoulder of the centering of cover shell 13 and mounting plate 24th
- the mounting domes 28 each have two axially extending bores which serve to receive corresponding fastening pins which are provided on the inside of the cover 29 of the support body 8.
- the support body 8 is thus composed of the lid 29 and the mounting plate 24 together.
- the two Longhaarschneidsysteme 9 and 10 are integrated in the support body 8. These are located between the mounting plate 24, and the lid 29 and are driven by the pivot pin 26 by cross-drive pin 19.
- the first long hair cutting system 9 consists of a fixed cutting comb 30 and a linearly oscillating cutting blade 31, wherein both cutting comb and cutting blade have a straight row of teeth. The flanks of the cutting teeth thus form cutting edges, the intervening hair cut.
- the cutting comb 30 has elongated holes 32, in which guide pins 33 protrude and form a linear bearing.
- the cutting blade 31 has a coupling portion 34 which has a receptacle 35 for the drive pin 19.
- the receptacle 35 is formed as a vertically extending slot.
- the second long-hair trimmer 10 which is made less than half as wide as the first long-hair trimmer, consists of a fixed cutting comb 36 and a pivotally oscillating driven cutting blade 37.
- the rows of teeth of these two cutting elements are rounded, with their radius of curvature about the pivot point 38th of the integrally formed on the cutting blade 37 drive lever 39 is located.
- a receptacle 40 for the drive pin 19 is also formed as a vertically extending slot.
- the pivot point 38 is formed by a lid 29 on the inside formed Lagerstrft 41.
- the two cutting combs 30 and 36 are mounted on the inside of the lid 29.
- the cutting blades 31 and 37 are located between the respective associated cutting combs and the mounting plate 24. Your rows of teeth are slightly surmounted by those of the associated cutting combs, so that there is no risk of injury to the user by the driven parts.
- the two cutting blades 31 and 37 are in oscillating motion, since they are both in engagement with the drive pin.
- the two long-hair trimmer 9 and 10 can be brought into the desired working position.
- the drive must not be turned off or disengaged, but the oscillating about the pivot bearing 18 driving pin 19 can due to its centering with respect to the pivot 26 easily the two cutting blades 31 and 37 continue to drive or move in the receptacles 35 and 40.
- two radially extending projecting cam 42 are formed on the bearing ring 27 of the rotary joint 26, which engage in said working positions with the corresponding bulges 43 which are formed on each leg of the bow spring 15. Since the rotary joint 26 is rotated with the support body 8, the cams 42 can easily engage with the elastic deformation of the bow spring 15 into the bulges 43 or be unlocked when the support body 8 is rotated.
- the Figures 1 and 2 show the dry shaver 1 in its initial position.
- the motor By pressing the on / off switch 5, the motor is set in motion and the lower blade, not shown, driven under the shear foil 4 oscillating.

- the two long-hair trimmers 9 and 10 are not driven, ie the cutting blades 31 and 37 perform no movement relative to the associated cutting combs 30 and 36 respectively.
- the first long-hair trimmer 9 lies lower than the short-hair trimmer 3 and releases the view of its working area.
- the drive element 6 passes between the coupling cheeks 20 of the double lever 16. With reaching this by corresponding stops on the housing 2 and slide switch 7 existing attacks defined way X of the double lever 16 driven by the drive member 6 swings about the bearing point 17 and the pivot bearing 18.
- the cutting blade 31 performs an oscillating linear vibration relative to the cutting comb 30; the cutting blade 37 oscillates in a rotationally oscillating manner relative to the cutting comb 36 about the pivot point 38.
- the first, broad-cut long-hair trimmer 9 is directed upwards and towers above the short-hair trimmer 3.
- first trimmer 9 for example, longer hairs can be removed or be pre-cut, in order then then better to be detected and shaved by the Kurzhaarschneidsystem 3 can. Due to the exposed position of the first long-hair trimmer 9, this can be very well viewed and applied.

Both known hair trimmers require the user a considerable handling effort to perform the pivoting of the cutting head. In particular, a one-hand operation during the pivoting process is not possible.
The invention is therefore based on the object clearly to improve the operation of a rotatably mounted on a housing of a hair clipper having a hair clipper further cutting system; In particular, a one-hand operation is to be made possible.
This object is achieved by the features of claim 1. The inventive solution can create an arrangement which allows the user, for example, to pivot with the thumb of the device comprehensive hand, the further cutting system when needed about its axis of rotation, which greatly improves the ease of use of such a hair clipper.
By combining the cutting system with a short hair cutting system, a particularly advantageous hair cutting or shaving system is provided, wherein the support body is rotatably disposed on the outside of the housing of a shaving device having a short hair cutting system. The short-hair cutting system serves to thoroughly shave hair, while the one or more stored in the support body cutting systems can be designed as long-hair trimmer different width. These systems can then be easily pivoted in one-handed operation in their operating position.
If a drive means for actuating the at least one cutting system is arranged such that it acts on the shearing element to be moved or a component connected thereto in the immediate region of the axis of rotation, it is possible to pivot the cutting system even when the drive is switched on. This improves handling even further.
The cutting system advantageously has a cutting comb with associated cutting blade, so that it can be used as a hair trimmer or long-hair trimmer. Both the cutting comb and the cutting blade in this case have teeth whose edges form the cutting edges.
A preferred embodiment of the invention provides that two diametrically opposed cutting systems are mounted in the support body, wherein advantageously the axis of rotation extends eccentrically with respect to these two cutting systems. Thus, when pivoting the support body relative to the housing of the hair trimmer, both the cutting system to be used can be changed, as well as the relative position of the cutting system to the housing change.
It is of particular advantage when two different cutting systems are present, which then each have a suitable position relative to the housing of the hair trimmer in the corresponding operating state. In an advantageous manner, in particular two long-hair trimmer systems can be formed, each consisting of a cutting comb and an associated cutting blade, which each have a different width extension. Thus, a relatively wide executed long-hair trimmer for shortening longer hair can be combined with a narrower contour cutter for cutting finer contours and bring by appropriate pivoting of the support body in working position. In combination with the asymmetrical position of the two cutting systems with respect to the common axis of rotation, for example, the contour cutter when pivoting in the working position in a position particularly exposed to the housing move, making the work area for this cutting tool for the user particularly visible and not is covered by the housing or related parts.
The two cutting systems are advantageously operated by common drive means, which keeps the construction and assembly costs low.
Advantageously, both the short hair cutting system and the shear elements mounted in the supporting body are driven by a common motor.
To increase the ease of use, it is also possible to operate the linear and / or rotational movements of the support body by an electric motor.

The
Once the double lever 16 - as will be described later - is driven swinging, the two

Now, if the

In a drawing, not shown, it is provided that the pivoting movement of the
