Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a device for Llindsumeria a package such as in particular a stack of newspapers, magazines od. Like.
  • a device for LlindsumLite a package such as in particular a stack of newspapers, magazines od.
  • a device for LlindsumLite a package such as in particular a stack of newspapers, magazines od.
  • a conveyor that promotes the package with an aligned axis to the conveying direction to a strapping, in which a closed loop frame-like trained strapping guide channel for conveying direction parallel strapping of the package and a tensioning and locking head are arranged, and with a feeding device that supplies the strap to the strap guide channel, wherein the strap guide channel is arranged laterally offset to the conveyor such curved and twisted is that a clearance for the package arises so that it can be freely driven into and out of the Umreifungsstation, and wherein the strap guide channel an L associated with the strapping device which free the strapping means released from the strapping guide channel in the strapping station
  • a cross strapping can be produced, for example, by first transversely strapping the package and then rotating it through 90 ° in the same workstation on the worktable around its vertical axis and finally again transversely strapping it.
  • a complex turning device is required in the machine, and the cycle times for two or more strapping increase.
  • a Lunksumreifung - also known as inline strapping - is problematic compared to a Querierreifung insofar as special measures must be taken to bring the strapping guide channel out of the path of movement or the gauge of the package.
  • the strapping device DE 41 00 276 C2 This is done by the fact that the strap guide channel is curved and twisted in a special way, so that the package is not hindered by him during transit through the device.
  • such a channel is relatively difficult to manufacture, since it is a curved in many directions spatial structure. For each machine size, another strapping guide channel shape is also required.
  • the strapping device according to DE 196 32 728 C2 provides a Umreifungsrahmen, which is pivoted about a horizontal axis located below the work surface, if necessary, in the strapping position when the package to be strapped has taken its position.
  • the associated mechanics requires a certain effort.
  • DE 42 30 730 A1 shows a strapping machine with a strap guide channel, in which a rectilinear movable frame member is provided which forms a twisted channel portion in cooperation with a fixed frame part.
  • a rectilinear movable frame member is provided which forms a twisted channel portion in cooperation with a fixed frame part.
  • at least parts of the strapping guide channel are wound.
  • EP 0 545 105 B1 describes a device for Lzansum adopted a package in which the strapping guide channel has two parallel to the strapping extending portions which extend on opposite sides of the strapping along the diagonally opposite corner regions of the packaged at such a distance from the Umreifungsebene that they the conveying movement of the packaged goods do not interfere, these sections being interconnected by further sections which intersect the strapping plane. Even such a band channel is designed relatively complex.
  • the disclosed device provides that the strap guide channel extends substantially in a plane which obliquely intersects the strapping plane in a section line perpendicular to the direction of conveyance, and that the binding head is pivotally mounted about an axis extending in this section line and is driven to rotate when shooting the tape occupies an angular position in which its longitudinal center plane coincides with the strapping guide channel plane, and that it pivots when tensioning the tape in the strapping.
  • Such a device is particularly expensive in terms of their control and by the pivot drive of the binding head also mechanically high and prone to failure.
  • EP 1 207 107 A1 shows a strapping device that includes a guide means for guiding the strapping, which for forming a loop of strapping in a waiting position, irrespective of the position of the body to be strapped, and in that a looping means is provided for converting the strapping loop formed by the guiding means from a waiting position provided in the table plane of the device to a stacking position to position a body to be strapped.
  • a Umreifungsschschleife is formed in a horizontal arrangement preparatory and swung up after positioning the strapping package in a position from which the loop can grip the package.
  • driven gripper segments which detect the Umreifungsstoffschleife and straighten up along curved arms.
  • US-A-4,711,071 discloses a strapping guide channel consisting of corner deflections and constructed of individual elements straight sections.
  • the present invention is therefore based essentially on the object, starting from DE 41 00 276 C2 to provide a device for longitudinal strapping of packages, which makes no special demands on drive mechanisms and in which the strap frame is relatively easy to manufacture.
  • the invention solves this problem with the features of claim 1 and is accordingly characterized in that the strap guide channel from Eckumlenkungen and further, the strap on its respective outward side only supporting leading channel sections and inserted between the Eckumlenkungen and channel sections in that the strap is composed of a strap around its longitudinal axis embossing strapping Tordiersegmenten.
  • the strapping Tordiersegmente it is advantageous if they twist the strap around each only about 40-60 °, preferably only about 45 ° about its longitudinal axis. Therefore, in relation to the Eckumlenk Institute and the other channel sections, the Umreifungsffenordiersegmente be kept short.
  • the invention is based on the recognition that it is sufficient, even if it - as is usual and necessary - to deflect the high-speed in the Umreifungsstoff-guide channel strapping through a helix angle of 90 ° through the on about 45 ° limited twisting impart only an initial twist.
  • such an initial twist or torsion pulse is sufficient to allow the strap in its further trajectory to continue to rotate about its longitudinal axis after the strapping Tordiersegment until it with its outwardly facing main thing properly to the associated at least 90 ° torsion angle Support guideway and in the further course of its propulsion whose curvature can follow without further ado.
  • the strapping Tordiersegmente form in one embodiment in each case a package towards one side longitudinally open slot channel with a Umreifungsstoff inlet slot and about 45 ° thereto twisted Umreifungsstoff-outlet slot, between which a Umreifungsstoff slide is formed with mutually facing guide or twist surfaces ,
  • the Eckumlenk Institute can each form a 90 ° deflection for the strap and further each form a package towards one side open-channel, from which the strap can be pulled out under withdrawal tension to tighten it around the package. Moreover, it is advantageous if all Eckumlenkeptept the strap guide channel identical to each other are formed.
  • the Eckumlenkeptept can be molded plastic parts.
  • the essential essence of the invention is thus essentially, unlike DE 41 00 276 C2 in which the strap guide channel itself is often bent and helically twisted, in that the strap guide channel is made of a few easy-to-make channel parts that are longitudinally stretched or bent parallel to its large surface to guide the strap and additionally
  • relatively small Tordiersegmenten the strapping Tordiersegmenten exists. This has both manufacturing technology and mounting advantages.
  • a strapping guide channel can to a certain extent be assembled according to a modular system and thus, in a relatively simple manner when using fewer standard construction segments, different strapping guide channels can be assembled and adapted to different strapping machines.
  • a device for Lucksumeria a package such as in particular a stack of newspapers, magazines od. Like. Ent with a total of 10 is designated. It comprises a machine frame 11 with a work table 12 for supporting a packaged goods 13 to be strapped, which is to be provided with a longitudinal strapping 14a.
  • a strapping is here as usual thermoplastic strip material with flachrechteckigem cross-section into consideration.
  • the designated overall with 16 strapping guide channel is, as shown in particular Figs. 1, 3 and 4, partially arranged below or in the plane of the machine table 12, but for the most part in a transport of the package 13 not impairing manner outside whose Clearance profile, in particular laterally next to its direction indicated by arrows in Fig. 1 transport direction.
  • the strapping means When strap 14 is shot into strapping guide channel 16 in the direction of one of the two arrows shown in FIG. 1, the strapping means must travel through multiple bends in different directions, and ultimately as in, for its leading end to return to closure assembly 15 closed loop so be held in the strap guide channel 16 that it can be stretched or tightened under the action of a retraction force and the intermediary of a deflector 17 in a plane lying in the transport direction of the package 13 preferably centrally on the package 13.
  • the strapping guide channel on which the invention is based has no movable elements and is designed to open towards the package 13, so that the band can be automatically pulled out of the strapping guide frame 16 under the withdrawal tension.
  • Fig. 5 illustrates the path that the strap 14 - a flat cross-section plastic strap - has to travel to form a strap loop. It is assumed that the strap 14 is shot below the plane of the table 12 by a jar, not shown in Fig. 5 in the direction of the arrow 18 in the strap guide channel. The strap 14 must first be guided deflected by about 90 °, namely around the vertical axis 19 shown schematically in Fig. 5. Then it is necessary to redirect the band again by about 90 ° about a horizontal axis 20.
  • the strap 14 undergoes a vertical portion 26a on its way up, and then on the zenith of the strap loop, a horizontal portion 26b, which adjoins a 90 ° bend of the strapping 14 another vertical section 26c connects down. Thereafter, it is again necessary to guide the strap 14 about another lying axis 21 and then again about a vertical axis 22, so that it in the same orientation in which it has left the bullet, again in the area, in particular in the closure unit, arrives.
  • a strap 14 in the form of a flat cross-section belt can be easily bent about an axis which is transverse to its longitudinal extent and parallel to the belt plane.
  • a band is limp.
  • it can not be bent by noteworthy angles in the transverse direction, in which it is extremely rigid.
  • the invention takes account of the fact that the tape is twisted at the required locations about its longitudinal axis or axis so that it can be easily bent in its preferential bending direction following the twist again. This is particularly important because the tape is shot free in the band strapping and not pulled by mechanical grippers.
  • the strap 14 is twisted clockwise by means of a first strapping segment 23 so that the strapping device 14 can take the curve around the vertical axis 19 after leaving the strapping segment 23.
  • a second strap tearing segment 24 is provided which reverses the strap 14, that is, provides torsional rotation opposite to the direction of torsion imparted to the strap 14 by the strapping twisting segment 23. This makes it possible for the strap to take the curve defined by the horizontal axis of curvature 20.
  • the strap 14 is secured by means of a third strap twisting segment 25 again twisted 90 ° so that it can follow the strap channel portion (band 26), which is composed of the two vertical sections 26 a, 26 c and the horizontal summit section 26 b.
  • each of the strap 14 convey such a twist that successively the sheets around the horizontal axis of curvature 21 and the vertical axis of curvature 22 can be taken.
  • the last strap tearing segment 29 guides the strap 14 out of the last arc about the axis 22 back to a reclined position where it can be fed to the strap closing unit.
  • Fig. 6 shows two arcuate, in particular quarter-circle-shaped guides for the strap 14, it being assumed that the strap 14 is conveyed in the direction of the arrow 18.
  • the first strapping segment 23 in FIG. 6 guides the strap 14 under torsion about its longitudinal axis into a first corner drive 30 from which the strapping device 14 rotates clockwise and enters a second strapping segment 24.
  • This strapping twisting segment 24 orbits the strap 14 against the direction of torsion provided by the strapping belt segment 23 and transfers it to a second corner guide 30 within which the strapping 14 makes an arc about the horizontal axis of curvature 20.
  • Fig. 7 shows schematically a strapping Tordiersegment 28 to which the strap is fed in the direction of arrow 18.
  • the strapping Tordiersegment 28 has an open edge as seen open slot 31, from which it can be pulled out under the action of a retraction tension when it is to be tightened around a package.
  • the strap tearing segment 28 then includes a strap entry slot 32 and a strap exit slot 33.
  • the strap slot 32 funnels to optimally guide the leading end of the strap 14 and internally forms opposing sliding surfaces 34 and 35 for the broad sides of the strap 14 off.
  • the twist or torsion angle of the strap entry slot 32 to the strap exit slot 33 is approximately 45 °, although the total angle that the strap 14 is to rotate about its longitudinal axis is typically 90 °. In that regard, therefore, a strap tordier segment imposes only an initial twist on the strap. The rest of the angle of rotation is performed automatically by the band in the area of the guide surfaces, which, following a strapping-strapping segment, are held ready by the strapping guide track of a corner drive 30 or another strapping guide channel section. It should be expressly mentioned that these guideways need not be specially prepared or designed, which understands the particular simplicity of the device according to the invention.
