Description

Etui pour menottes
La présente invention concerne un étui pour menottes du type constitué d'un corps creux à ouverture par le dessus servant au logement des menottes et d'un rabat de fermeture du corps, ce rabat s 'appliquant en position fermée, contre la face dite antérieure dudit corps
Les menottes sont aujourd'hui stockées dans un étui. Généralement la clé des menottes est stockée à l'extérieur de l'étui. Il en résulte une perte fréquente de la clé des menottes rendant l'ensemble inutilisable.
De tels étuis peuvent affecter un grand nombre de formes, comme l'illustre en particulier le brevet américain US-A- 5.918.786. On connaît par ailleurs des boîtiers porte-clé à enrouleur comme l'illustre en particulier le brevet FR-A- 2.259.559 ou la demande internationale WO 99/21451.
Un but de la présente invention est donc de proposer un étui à menottes dont la conception permet de disposer en permanence de la clé servant à l'ouverture/fermeture des menottes sans risque de perte de cette dernière, cette clé étant directement accessible à l'ouverture de l'étui tout en étant masquée à l'état fermé de l'étui.
Un autre but de la présente invention est de proposer un étui à menottes dont la conception permet d'associer en permanence et de manière protégée la clé à l'étui sans augmenter l'encombrement en particulier l'épaisseur dudit étui.
A cet effet, l'invention a pour objet un étui pour menottes du type constitué d'un corps creux à ouverture par le dessus servant au logement des menottes et d'un rabat de fermeture du corps, ce rabat s 'appliquant en position fermée, contre la face dite antérieure dudit corps, caractérisé en ce que le rabat est muni, sur sa face intérieure, d'un boîtier porte-clé à enrouleur, ce boîtier faisant, en position fermée dudit rabat, saillie à l'intérieur du corps par l'intermédiaire d'une ouverture, de préférence une echancrure, ménagée dans la face antérieure du corps de manière à permettre notamment le positionnement du boîtier porte-clé à enrouleur dans l'espace libre délimité par les bracelets de menottes.
Le positionnement du boîtier destiné à empêcher la perte de la clé sur le rabat de fermeture et sa coopération avec la face antérieure du bord de l'étui permettent de masquer la clé en position fermée de l'étui tout en la rendant aisément accessible en position ouverte de l'étui.
Ce positionnement permet encore de ne pas augmenter l'encombrement de l'étui par une utilisation judicieuse du volume intérieur des menottes et de faciliter la sortie des menottes de l'étui du fait de la présence d'une echancrure sur la face antérieure dudit étui.
L'invention sera bien comprise à la lecture de la description suivante d'exemples de réalisation, en référence aux dessins annexés dans lesquels :
la figure 1 représente une vue en perspective d'un étui pour menottes conforme à l'invention en position ouverte du rabat de fermeture et
la figure 2 représente une vue en perspective d'un étui pour menottes conforme à 1 ' invention en position fermée du rabat de fermeture .
Comme mentionné ci-dessus, l'étui 1 pour menottes 10 est du type constitué d'un corps 2 creux à ouverture par le dessus servant au logement des menottes 10. La face postérieure de ce corps 2 creux est prolongée d'un rabat de fermeture du corps 2. Ce rabat 3 est relié à la face postérieure du corps 2 par une zone de pliage. L'ensemble de cet étui peut être réalisé en cuir ou en toute autre matière. Le rabat 3 de fermeture s'applique en position fermée, contre la face 2A dite antérieure dudit corps 2. De manière caractéristique à l'invention, ce rabat 3 est muni, sur sa face intérieure, d'un boîtier 5 porte-clé 6 à enrouleur. Ce boîtier 5 ne sera pas décrit en détail car il est bien connu à ceux versés dans cet art. Ce boîtier 5 fait, en position fermée du rabat 3, saillie à l'intérieur du corps 2 par l'intermédiaire d'une ouverture 4 ménagée dans la face 2A antérieure du corps 2 de manière à permettre notamment le positionnement du boîtier 5 porte-clé 6 enrouleur dans l'espace libre délimité par les bracelets des menottes 10. Cette ouverture 4, ménagée dans la face antérieure' du corps, affecte de préférence la forme d'une echancrure. Cette echancrure 4 prend naissance sur le bord supérieur de la face antérieure du corps 2 de l'étui 1.
Elle a pour avantage de faciliter en outre la sortie des menottes 10.
Pour empêcher toute perte de la clé, le boîtier 5 porte-clé 6 à enrouleur est fixé de manière inamovible au rabat 3 de fermeture. Ce boîtier 5 porte-clé 6 à enrouleur peut être fixé/' au rabat 3 par l'intermédiaire d'une liaison autorisant une rotation du boîtier sur lui-même sur 360° permettant ainsi de positionner le boîtier 5 selon les souhaits de l'utilisateur. Ce boîtier 5 porte-clé 6 à enrouleur loge à enroulement automatique un lien dont une extrémité fait saillie du boîtier 5. Cette extrémité saillante est solidarisable directement ou par l'intermédiaire d'au moins une pièce 11 de liaison à la ou les clé (s) 6 de menottes 10. Dans l'exemple représenté, la pièce 11 de liaison du lien à enroulement automatique est reliée à la clé par l'intermédiaire d'un lien supplémentaire. Grâce à la possibilité de rotation du boîtier 5 sur lui-même, il est donc possible de positionner la pièce de liaison 11 dans une position quelconque.
Pour réduire encore l'encombrement d'un tel étui, en particulier son encombrement en hauteur, la zone de liaison du rabat 3 au corps 1 comporte une portion 8 évidée à travers laquelle fait saillie au moins le verrou 10A des menottes 10 et éventuellement la chaîne reliant les bracelets de menotte entre eux. Ce corps 2 comporte encore, dans chaque zone de liaison entre paroi 2C de fond et paroi 2B latérale du corps, un évidement 9 facilitant le logement des menottes à l'intérieur du boîtier. Enfin, ce corps 2 comporte généralement, sur sa face postérieure, des moyens de fixation à la ceinture d'un porteur. Ces moyens de fixation peuvent être constitués par' un passant rapporté sur la face postérieure du corps 2 ou par une double paroi de la face postérieure faisant office de passant. Enfin, le rabat 3 est maintenu en position fermée par l'intermédiaire d'un bouton pression 7 ou tout autre organe de fermeture.
Ainsi, lorsque l'étui 1 pour menottes 10, objet de l'invention, est en position fermée comme l'illustre la figure 2, la clé 6 de menottes est parfaitement masquée et l'ensemble présente un encombrement réduit du fait de la possibilité "de loger le boîtier 5 à l'intérieur de l'espace laissé libre par les bracelets de menottes. Lors de l'ouverture de l'étui 1, la clé 6 devient directement accessible et peut, tout en étant maintenue par l'intermédiaire de la pièce de liaison 11 au lien rétractable du boîtier 5 à enrouleur, servir à l'ouverture des menottes 10 dont l'enlèvement du boîtier est facilité grâce à la présence de 1 ' echancrure 4. En effet, cette echancrure 4 permet à l'utilisateur d'insérer au moins un doigt dans l'espace laissé libre à l'intérieur des bracelets de menottes pour faciliter l'extraction de ces dernières hors de l'étui.

Claims

REVENDICATIONS
1. Etui (1) pour menottes (10) du type constitué d'un corps (2) creux à ouverture par le dessus servant au logement des menottes (10) et d'un rabat (3) de fermeture du corps (2) , ce rabat (3) s' appliquant en position fermée, contre la face (2A) dite antérieure dudit corps (2) , caractérisé en ce .'que le rabat (3) est muni, sur sa face intérieure, d'un boîtier (5) porte-clé (6) à enrouleur, ce boîtier (5) faisant, en position fermée dudit rabat (3), saillie à l'intérieur du corps (2) par l'intermédiaire d'une ouverture (4), de préférence une echancrure, ménagée dans la face (2A) antérieure du corps (2) de manière à permettre notamment le positionnement du boîtier (5) porte- clé (6) à enrouleur dans l'espace libre délimité par les bracelets de menottes (10) .
2. Etui (1) pour menottes (10) selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que 1 ' echancrure (4) prend naissance sur le bord supérieur de la face antérieure du corps (2) de l 'étui (1) .
3. Etui (1) pour menottes (10) selon l'une des revendications 1 et 2, caractérisé en ce que la zone de liaison du rabat (3) au corps (1) comporte une portion (8) évidée à travers laquelle fait saillie au moins le verrou (10A) des menottes (10) .
4. Etui (1) pour menottes (10) selon l'une des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce que le rabat (3) est maintenu en position fermée par l'intermédiaire d'un bouton pression (7).
5. Etui (1) pour menottes (10) selon l'une des revendications 1 à 4, caractérisé en ce que le corps (2) comporte, sur sa face postérieure, des moyens de fixation à la ceinture d'un porteur.
6. Etui (1) pour menottes (10) selon l'une des revendications 1 à 5, caractérisé en ce que le corps (2) comporte, dans chaque zone de liaison entre paroi (2C) de fond et paroi (2B) latérale du corps, un évidement (9) .
7. Etui (1) pour menottes (10) selon l'une des revendications 1 à 6, caractérisé en ce que le boîtier (5) porte-clé (6) à enrouleur est fixé de manière inamovible au rabat (3) .
8. Etui (1) pour menottes (10) selon l'une des revendications 1 à 7, caractérisé en ce que le boîtier (5) porte-clé (6) à enrouleur est fixé au rabat (3) par l'intermédiaire d'une liaison autorisant une rotation du boîtier sur lui-même.
9. Etui (1) pour menottes (10) selon l'une des revendications 1 à 8, caractérisé en ce que le boîtier (5) porte-clé (6) à enrouleur loge à enroulement automatique un lien dont une extrémité faisant saillie du boîtier (5) est solidarisable directement ou par l'intermédiaire d'au moins une pièce (11) de liaison à la ou les clé (s) (6) de menottes (10) .
