Abstandhalterrahmen 60, der auf der einen Glasscheibe 62 aufgelegt
ist, gegenüberliegend angeordnet sind. Der Kanal 44 ist im Bereich
der lotrechten Dichtung 20 in zwei Abschnitte unterteilt. Jeder der
beiden Abschnitte des Kanals 44 besitzt eine Zuleitung für Schwergas,
die voneinander unabhängig mit Schwergas beaufschlagt werden

den Raum 10 zwischen den Platten 4 und 6 bewegt, wozu an der im
Maschinengestell 2 fix montierten Platte 4 Rollen und/oder Austrittsöffnungen
für das Ausbilden eines Luftkissens vorgesehen sein
können. Nun wird die verstellbare Platte 6 der ortsfesten Platte 4
so weit angenähert, daß sie knapp neben dem unteren Rand der schrägstehenden
Glastafel 64, diese liegt nur mit dem oberen horizontalen
Rand am Abstandhalterrahmen an, angeordnet ist. Des weiteren wird
die Dichtung 20 auf die Platte 6 zu vorgeschoben, bis sie an der
beweglichen Platte 6 anliegt. Darauf wird der Abschnitt des Kanals
44, über dem sich eine zu füllende Isolierglasscheibe befindet, mit
Schwergas beaufschlagt, bis die Isolierglasscheibe zur Gänze mit
Schwergas gefüllt ist. Dann wird die bewegliche Platte 6 weiter auf
die ortsfeste Platte 4 zu vorgeschoben, so daß die zunächst schrägstehende
Glasscheibe 64 zur Gänze, d.h. mit ihrem gesamten Umfang am
Abstandhalterrahmen 60 anliegt. Falls die Vorrichtung dazu eingerichtet
ist, kann die so geschlossene Isolierglasscheibe in der
Vorrichtung auch verpreßt werden und die Isolierglasscheibe ist dann
mit Schwergas gefüllt und für das Versiegeln der Randfuge in einer
