Definitions
- the present invention relates to a device for switching on / off an electrical device or a component which is operated by means of at least one battery, and a method for switching on / off an electrical device or a component.
- EP-A-0 684 749 discloses a device for switching on / off an electrical appliance according to the preambles of claims 1 and 11.
- the battery can be arranged in or on a battery holder or kept rotated to turn on or off the device to the poles on or to turn or pivot from the contact points for startup or shutdown.
- the holder with the battery is pivotally mounted from a battery compartment, such that the battery can be removed from the compartment and preferably rotated in or on the holder, and then optionally re-arranged in the compartment, but the poles no longer or incorrectly in contact with the corresponding contact points.
- the battery in the holder in the swung-out state or by means of the holder by about 180 ° rotatable, such that when re-pivoting the holder into the battery compartment, the poles of the battery are reversed.
- At least one element is provided which allows the flow of current in one direction only, so that when interchanging the poles of the battery depending on no current flows in the device.
- This element may be, for example, a diode circuit or another adequate element resp. to act an integrated circuit.
- the holder may be formed, for example, shell-like, such that upon rotation of the battery in the holder, the battery is applied to at least two pivot points on the shell, and that protruding edge portions of the shell are provided which prevents falling out of the battery during rotation.
- the shell is preferably made of a flexible or elastic material, such as a polymeric material.
- the holder may for example be formed in two parts with a flexible or elastic shell-like game to allow rotation of the battery, as well as a largely rigid, lid-like lot on which the shell is arranged, and which is pivotally connected about an axis with the electrical device ,
- a two-part holder can be made, for example, by means of so-called two-component injection molding technology, in that both the elastic polymer and the largely rigid polymer are simultaneously applied by means of injection molding.
- the inventive method is characterized by the fact that for switching on / off of the device or the component, the battery is pivoted away from a battery compartment by means of a holder in the swung-out state of the holder, the battery is rotated preferably 180 °, and then the battery with reversed poles is again inserted into the battery compartment.
- the inventively proposed device and the method are particularly suitable for the switching on / off of micro devices, such as hearing aids, at which attaching an on / off switch, for example, for reasons of space is problematic.
- Figure 1 shows schematically in perspective an electrical component or a device 1, comprising a battery compartment 3, with the two laterally arranged contact points 2 and 4 (contact 4 not visible in Figure 1), to arrange in which battery compartment for the operation of the device, a battery is.
- the battery 11, held in a shell 9, is shown swung out.
- the holder 9 is in turn at one Holding element 7 is arranged, which is connected about an axis of rotation 5 pivotally connected to the device 1.
- the cover or the retaining element 7 is removed from the battery compartment 3 together with the battery 11 and brought into the position shown in Figure 1.
- the battery 11 is rotated in the holder 9 about its own axis by 180 °, so that the two poles 8 and 10 are reversed.
- the battery 11 is again inserted into the battery compartment 3, but now the poles of the battery are reversed, so that basically the current would flow in the wrong direction.
- the battery 11 is accordingly pivoted away from the battery compartment 3 again and again rotated about its own axis by 180 °.
- the poles 8 and 10 are again in the correct position, so that when inserting the battery 11 in the tray 3, the device is turned on.
- FIG 3 the cup-like holder 9 of Figure 2 during the rotation of a battery 11 is shown.
- the shell 9 By pushing the battery down and up on the protruding edge 13, the shell 9 is slightly pushed apart, so that the battery can be rotated easily.
- the regions 17 and 19 form a quasi-axis of rotation.
- the lower part 21 of the shell 9 extends beyond the pivot point 19 also.
- FIGS. 2 and 3 are merely exemplary in order to show, for example, how the shell-like support 9 can be formed so that the battery 11 can rotate without difficulty, without being released from the support during the turning process pops out.
- This is important, because with very small devices, such as hearing aids, the manipulation for turning the battery is not easy. So it is important that, for example, even older people who are motorized, the battery can rotate easily to turn a hearing aid on or off.
- FIG. 4 schematically shows, in perspective, a further embodiment variant of a shell-like holder provided with the reference numeral 29.
- a holding cup 29 designed as a so-called “softcase” is arranged on a holder 7 pivotable about an axis 5.
- This "softcase” is so flexible or deformable formed so that a rotation of the battery 11, for example, about the axis of rotation formed by the two pivot points 27 and 29 is rotatable by 180 ° to be pivoted after rotating about the axis of rotation 5 back into a battery compartment.
- FIG 5 shows another possible embodiment of a holding shell 39, which is provided for receiving a battery 11.
- the holding shell 39 is largely rigid, since once used, the battery in the holder 39 itself no longer needs to be rotated. Rather, the holding shell 39, which is attached to the holder 7 can be pivoted about the axis of rotation 5 from a battery compartment 41, rotated about a further axis of rotation 35, whereby a rotation of the battery 11 in the holding cup 39 is unnecessary. After turning the battery by 180 ° or "exchange" of the poles, the battery can be swung back into the battery compartment.
- the battery is removed from a battery compartment of the electrical device, rotated or pivoted, such that the poles are no longer in communication with the respective contact points, which is an operation of the Allow device.
- the battery is pivoted by 180 °, so that the poles are reversed when re-inserting.
- the battery compartment is designed in the sense of a so-called “soft case”, so that the battery can be rotated in the battery compartment to swap the poles.
- a device can be switched on or off without having to remove the battery from the device.
- the device or the electrical component is switched off, without an unwanted power consumption can occur.

Description
The present invention relates to a device for switching on / off an electrical device or a component which is operated by means of at least one battery, and a method for switching on / off an electrical device or a component.
In particular, in electrical or electronic micro devices arranging or pressing an on / off switch is often problematic. In such devices, especially in battery-powered therefore often lack of space on an on / off switch, and the device is turned off by the battery is removed from the device. This can be done, for example, by opening a battery compartment and removing the battery from the compartment and storing it outside the device.
The document "EP-A-0 684 749" discloses a device for switching on / off an electrical appliance according to the preambles of
Since usually the battery is very small in miniature devices, a storage of the same is almost impossible and handling, such as re-insertion, extremely difficult. There is also a high probability that the battery is inserted incorrectly.
It is therefore an object of the present invention to find a solution to the above-described problem.
It is proposed that the battery can be arranged in or on a battery holder or kept rotated to turn on or off the device to the poles on or to turn or pivot from the contact points for startup or shutdown.
Preferably, the holder with the battery is pivotally mounted from a battery compartment, such that the battery can be removed from the compartment and preferably rotated in or on the holder, and then optionally re-arranged in the compartment, but the poles no longer or incorrectly in contact with the corresponding contact points.
According to a further preferred embodiment variant, the battery in the holder in the swung-out state or by means of the holder by about 180 ° rotatable, such that when re-pivoting the holder into the battery compartment, the poles of the battery are reversed.
It is also proposed that in the circuit of the electrical or electronic device or the component at least one element is provided which allows the flow of current in one direction only, so that when interchanging the poles of the battery depending on no current flows in the device. This element may be, for example, a diode circuit or another adequate element resp. to act an integrated circuit.
The holder may be formed, for example, shell-like, such that upon rotation of the battery in the holder, the battery is applied to at least two pivot points on the shell, and that protruding edge portions of the shell are provided which prevents falling out of the battery during rotation. The shell is preferably made of a flexible or elastic material, such as a polymeric material.
The holder may for example be formed in two parts with a flexible or elastic shell-like game to allow rotation of the battery, as well as a largely rigid, lid-like lot on which the shell is arranged, and which is pivotally connected about an axis with the electrical device , Such a two-part holder can be made, for example, by means of so-called two-component injection molding technology, in that both the elastic polymer and the largely rigid polymer are simultaneously applied by means of injection molding.
Finally proposed is a method for switching on / off an electrical or electronic device or a component which is or which is operated by means of battery, according to the wording of
The inventively proposed device and the method are particularly suitable for the switching on / off of micro devices, such as hearing aids, at which attaching an on / off switch, for example, for reasons of space is problematic.
The invention will now be explained in more detail by way of example and with reference to the accompanying drawings.

Figure 1 shows schematically in perspective an electrical component or a device 1, comprising a
In the illustration according to FIG. 1, the
If now the device 1 are turned off, the cover or the
So that a smooth turning of the
In Figure 3, the cup-
Of course, the illustrations in FIGS. 2 and 3 are merely exemplary in order to show, for example, how the shell-
Figure 5 shows another possible embodiment of a
Essential to the present invention is the basic idea that according to the solution variants described above, the battery is removed from a battery compartment of the electrical device, rotated or pivoted, such that the poles are no longer in communication with the respective contact points, which is an operation of the Allow device. Preferably, the battery is pivoted by 180 °, so that the poles are reversed when re-inserting.
According to another solution, it is even conceivable that instead of a swing out battery holder, the battery compartment is designed in the sense of a so-called "soft case", so that the battery can be rotated in the battery compartment to swap the poles.
The advantages of these solutions are that a device can be switched on or off without having to remove the battery from the device. In addition, the device or the electrical component is switched off, without an unwanted power consumption can occur.
Furthermore, the handling of the small battery is very easy and losing the battery is no longer possible because the battery is always in the battery compartment of the device.
