Eine in Fig. 1 dargestellte Maschine 1 besteht im wesentlichen aus einem
Maschinenrahmen 2 der sowohl auf Schienenfahrwerken 3 gleisverfahrbar,
als auch durch Raupenfahrwerke 4 gleisunabhängig verfahrbar ausgebildet
ist. Aufgrund der großen Baulänge der Maschine 1 ist der Maschinenrahmen
2 zweiteilig und mit einer Gelenkstelle 5 ausgestattet. Am Maschinenrahmen
2 sind eine Schwellenaufnahmevorrichtung 6 und eine - bezüglich einer Arbeitsrichtung
7 (Pfeil) - dahinter befindliche Schwellenablagevorrichtung 8
angeordnet. Der Schwellenaufnahmevorrichtung 6 ist eine erste Fördereinrichtung
9 zum Transport von Altschwellen 10, der Schwellenablagevorrichtung
8 ist eine zweite Fördereinrichtung 11 zum Transport von Neuschwellen
12 zugeordnet. Beide untereinander angeordnete Fördereinrichtungen 9, 11
bestehen aus mehreren, in Maschinenlängsrichtung bzw. Arbeitsrichtung 7
hintereinander angeordneten Förderbändern 13. A
Zur wahlweisen Übergabe von Altschwellen 10 auf die zweite Fördereinrichtung
11 ist eine Übergabevorrichtung 14 vorgesehen. Diese setzt sich aus
zwei, gemeinsam ein Übergabeorgan 15 bildenden Übergabeförderern 16, 17
zusammen, die jeweils - in ihrer Normalposition - einen Abschnitt der ersten
bzw. zweiten Fördereinrichtung 9, 11 bilden. Jeder einen Rotationsantrieb 18
aufweisende Übergabeförderer 16, 17 ist durch einen Antrieb 19 um eine
querverlaufende Horizontalachse 20 von der Normalposition (in strichpunktierten
Linien dargestellt) in eine Übergabeposition (in vollen Linien dargestellt)

Im folgenden wird nun die Arbeitsweise der Maschine 1 kurz beschrieben.
Nach der Entfernung der Altschwellen 10 durch die Schwellenaufnahmevorrichtung
6 aus einer Gleisbettung 21 werden die Altschwellen 10 mit der
ersten Fördereinrichtung 9 entgegen der Arbeitsrichtung 7 abtransportiert.
Gleichzeitig werden Neuschwellen 12 durch die zweite Fördereinrichtung 11
in Arbeitsrichtung 7 zur Schwellenablagevorrichtung 8 transportiert, wo sie
anschließend auf die mittlerweile planierte Gleisbettung 21 abgelegt werden.
Bei diesem Vorgang befinden sich die verschwenkbaren Übergabeförderer
16, 17 in der strichpunktiert eingezeichneten Normalposition, in der sie jeweils
einen Abschnitt der ersten bzw. zweiten Fördereinrichtung 9, 11 bilden.In the following, the operation of the
