Abstract
Description

Bandenden sichernden Schloß, gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs
1. Es ist oftmals erforderlich, die Bandspannung innerhalb
vorgegebener Grenzen einzustellen, damit einerseits
eine hinreichende Spannung erreicht und andererseits der zu
bindende Gegenstand und das Band nicht zu hoch belastet werden.
Zu diesem Zweck rüstet man das Werkzeug mit einer Bandspannungsbegrenzungseinrichtung
aus. Bei einem ersten Typ von
Werkzeugen (EP-B 299 387) ist die Bandspannungsbegrenzungseinrichtung
als Lastwaage ausgebildet, in der die in der
Bandspanneinrichtung wirkende Kraft mit einer durch eine Feder
vorgegebenen Bezugskraft verglichen wird. Übersteigt die
in der Bandspanneinrichtung wirkenden Kraft die Bezugskraft,
so wird die Verbindung zwischen der Bandspanneinrichtung und
einem das Band erfassenden Greifer gelöst. Bei diesem Typ von
Werkzeugen ist die Bandspannungsmeßeinrichtung mechanisch in
die Bandspannungsbegrenzungseinrichtung integriert. Die Genauigkeit
der Bandspannungsbegrenzung ist dadurch stark eingeschränkt.

Dies setzt voraus, daß die Auslenkungsführung etwa mittig zwischen den Bandführungen sitzt. - The tool as claimed in one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the magnitude of the deflection (17) is no greater than a fifth of the distance (16) between the pair of band guides (12).
- The tool as claimed in one of claims 1 to 5, wherein the pair of band guides (12) is separate from the lock mount (2) and/or the band-tensioning device (5, 6).
- The tool as claimed in claim 6, wherein the pair of band guides (12), the deflecting guide (13) and the band-tensioning-measuring device (14) form an independent structural unit (10).
- The tool as claimed in claim 7, wherein the band-tensioning-measuring unit (10) has an electrical measuring element (14).
- The tool as claimed in one of claims 1 to 8, wherein the band-tensioning device (5, 6) comprises an adjustable band-tensioning-limiting device, and a device (18) which is influenced by the band-tensioning-measuring device (14) is provided for setting the band-tensioning-limiting device.
- The tool as claimed in one of claims 1 to 8, wherein the band-tensioning device (5, 6) comprises a device (18) which is controlled by the band-tensioning-measuring device (14) and is intended for terminating the tensioning operation.
