Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft ein Rohrförmiges Griffstück, dessen eines, einem Saugrohr benachbarte Ende polsterdüsenartig ausgebildet ist und eine Koppelstelle aufweist, an der ein zum Führen eines Saugmundstückes dienendes Saugrohr lösbar ankoppelbar ist und dessen andere Ende mit einer an einem Staubsauger angeschlossenen Saugleitung gekoppelt ist, wobei das polsterdüsenartig ausgebildete Ende mit einem Borstenkranz versehen ist, der gegenüber einer Mundstückkante des Endes axial verstellbar ist.
  • Aus der US-A-3 259 934 is ein solches Griffstück mit den merkmalen des Oberbegriffs des Anspruchs 1 bekannt.
  • Die DE-A-41 42 281 beschreibt ein Griffstück das mit seinem einen Ende fest mit einem Saugschlauch verbunden ist. Das andere Ende kann mit einem Verlängerungsrohr oder einem Saugmundstück zusammengesteckt werden.
  • Es ist ferner allgemein bekannt, daß zur Durchführung bestimmter Saugarbeiten speziell für diese Arbeiten ausgebildete Mundstücke zum Einsatz kommen. Derartige speziell ausgebildete Mundstücke sind beispielsweise Polster-, Möbel- oder Fugendüsen. Um die entsprechenden Saugarbeiten durchführen zu können, muß das Griffstück von einem an diesem aufgesteckten Saugrohr gelöst und an Stelle des Saugrohres das betreffende spezielle Mundstück aufgesteckt werden. Hierzu muß dieses Mundstück erst von seinem Aufbewahrungsort entnommen werden, der von dem Ort an dem die betreffenden Saugarbeiten gerade durchgeführt werden sollen abgelegen sein kann. Dies ist nachteilig.
  • Die Funktionsart des Griffstückes wird dadurch erweitert werden, daß das polsterdüsenartig ausgebildete Ende mit einem Borstenkranz versehen ist.
  • Der Funktionsarterweiterung dient ebenfalls, daß die den Borstenkranz bildenden Borstenbüschel gegenüber der Mundstückkante des polsterdüsenartig ausgebildeten Endes axial verstellbar sind. Hierdurch kann die Härte des Borstenkranzes variiert werden und so daß die Bearbeitung von in ihrer Art verschiedenen Flächen ermöglicht wird.
  • Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde ein Griffstück der eingangs beschriebenen Art so aus zubileden, daß ein Reinigen der Borstenbüschel selbst und damit eine Verbesserung der hygienischen Verhältnisse erreicht wird. Die lösung der gestellten Aufgabe gelingt nach der Erfindung dadurch, daß der Borstenkranz Borstenbüschel umfaßt die durch eine ortsfest an der Mundstückkante angeordnete Gitter- oder Lochstruktur hindurchgeführt sind.
  • Anhand eines in der Zeichnung dargestellten Ausführungsbeispieles wird die Erfindung nachfolgend noch näher erläutert.

    das als Polsterdüse ausgebildete Ende eines Griffstückes,

    das als Polsterdüse ausgebildete Ende eines Griffstückes mit unterschiedlich weit ausgefahrenen Borstenbüscheln.
  • Mit 1 ist ein rohrartiges Griffstück bezeichnet, das an seinem einen Ende 2 lösbar mit einem Saugrohr 3 gekoppelt ist. Mit seinem anderen Ende 4 ist das Griffstück 1 fest mit einem Saugschlauch 5 verbunden. Der Saugschlauch 5 ist seinerseits an einen Staubsauger anschließbar.
  • Das eine, dem Saugrohr 3 benachbarte Ende 2 des Griffstückes 1 ist als Polsterdüse 6 ausgebildet. Hierzu ist das eine Ende 2 in seinem Durchmesser entsprechend erweitert, so daß das Saugrohr 3 in dieses Ende 2 hineingeführt und mit einem im Innern dieses Endes 2 vorgesehenen Anschlußstutzen 7 gekoppelt werden kann. Über den Anschlußstutzen 7 ist das Saugrohr 3 strömungsmäßig mit dem Griffstück 1 und über dieses mit dem Saugschlauch 3 verbunden. An Stelle eines Anschlußstutzens 7 kann im Innern des Endes 2 auch eine rohrförmige Aufnahme ausgebildet sein, in die das Saugrohr 3 beim Ankoppeln an das Griffstück 1 eingesteckt wird.
  • An der Mundstückkante 8 der Polsterdüse 6 ist ein Borstenkranz 9 vorgesehen. Die einzelnen Borstenbüschel 10 sind durch an der Mundstückkante 8 ausgebildete Löchèr 11 hindurchgeführt. Der Borstenkranz 9 bzw. die Borstenbüschel 10 sind mittels eines Betätigungsgliedes 12 axial verstellbar. Die Borstenbüschel 10 können somit, wie dies in der Folge der Figuren 3 bis 5 gezeigt ist, verschieden weit gegenüber der Mundstückkante 8 vorgeschoben bzw. wieder zurückgesetzt werden. Damit ergeben sich abhängig von der gegenüber der Mundstückkante 8 vorstehenden Länge der Borstenbüschel 10 verschiedene Funktionen. Bei sehr kurzer vorstehender Länge wirken die Borstenbüschel 10 als harte Bürste, mit der festhaftende Schmutzteile oder Fasern von der zu reinigenden Fläche abgelöst werden können. Nach dem Ablösen werden die Schmutzteile bzw. Fasern abgesaugt.
  • Durch weiteres Vorschieben der Borstenbüschel 10 gegenüber der Mundstückkante 8 erhalten diese eine weichere Charakteristik, so daß auch von ihrer Beschaffenheit her empfindliche Flächen mit der Polsterdüse 6 bearbeitet werden können, ohne daß die Gefahr eines Zerkratzens dieser Flächen besteht.
  • Beim Wiederzurückstellen der Borstenbüschel 10 streichen diese an den Umfangskanten 13 der Löcher 11 entlang, wobei an den Borstenbüschel 10 anhaftender Schmutz abgestreift und abgesaugt wird, wenn das Zurückstellen der Borstenbüschel 10 bei laufendem Staubsauger erfolgt. Damit wird eine wesentliche Verbesserung der hygienischen Verhältnisse erreicht, da die Borstenbüschel 10 relativ sauber gehalten werden.
  • Infolge der erfindungsgemäßen Ausbildung des für die Ankoppelung des Saugrohres 3 an den Saugschlauch 5 und das Führen des Saugrohres 3 ohnehin notwendigen Griffstückes 1 erübrigen sich gesonderte Spezialmundstücke. Hieraus ergeben sich wesentliche Handhabungsvorteile, da kein gesondertes Anstecken derartiger Mundstücke an das Griffstück 1 mehr erforderlich ist. Außerdem stehen die Spezialmundstücke griffbereit zur Verfügung, wodurch die Durchführung der Reinigungsarbeiten erleichtert wird.

Claims (1)

  1. Rohrförmiges Griffstück, dessen eines, einem Saugrohr (1) benachbarte Ende (2) polsterdüsenartig ausgebildet ist und eine Koppelstelle aufweist, an der ein zum Führen eines Saugmundstückes dienendes Saugrohr (3) lösbar ankoppelbar ist und dessen andere Ende (4) mit einer an einem Staubsauger angeschlossenen Saugleitung (5) gekoppelt ist, wobei das polsterdüsenartig ausgebildete Ende (2) mit einem Borstenkranz (9) versehen ist, der gegenüber einer Mundstückkante (8) des Endes (2) axial verstellbar ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Borstenkranz (9) Borstenbüschel (10) umfaßt, die durch eine ortsfest an der Mundstückkante (8) angeordnete Gitter- oder Lochstruktur (11) hindurchgeführt sind.
