Description
- Le flux de matière fondue circule, de la manière la plus directe possible, vers la zone du moule opposée à l'alimentation.
- La solidification de cette matière est, elle aussi, dirigée.
- Le ou les canaux créés dans l'insert et/ou dans son support assurent une transmission éventuelle de la pression initiale en tout point de la cavité du moule, correspondant à la pièce à mouler.
Claims (4)
- Procédé d'alimentation en métal ou alliage fondu, pour le moulage de pièces notamment en métaux ou alliages légers, avec mise en place d'un ou plusieurs inserts dans la pièce, lors de l'opération de moulage, caractérisé en ce qu'il consiste, lors du remplissage du moule (6), à faire passer la matière fondue à mouler à travers l'insert (2) et éventuellement son support (7), grâce à ces orifices (8, 9, 10) ménagés dans l'insert (2) et, le cas échéant, dans son support (7), et créant au moins un canal (11) transversal audit insert (2) et apte à être parcouru par un flux de matière fondue à mouler.
- Procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que, dans le cas d'un insert (2) de forme évidée, les orifices (8, 9) sont ménagés dans des zones opposées de l'insert (2), de manière à créer, au travers de l'insert (2), un flux de matière entre le côté de l'alimentation (5) du moule (6) et le côté (4) opposé à cette alimentation (5).
- Procédé selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que l'insert (2), en forme de manchon ou de bague, comporte deux orifices (8, 9) ménagés dans des positions diamétralement opposées, cet insert (2) étant positionné dans le moule (6), sur son support (7), de telle sorte que l'un des orifices (8) se situe face à l'alimentation (5) du moule (6), l'autre orifice (9) étant alors placé face à la zone (4) opposée à l'alimentation (5), tandis que le support (7) de l'insert (2) comporte, entre les positions prises par les orifices précités (8, 9), un orifice diamétral (10) définissant, avec les orifices (8, 9) de l'insert (2), le canal (11) transversal à l'insert (2).
- Procédé selon la revendication 3, caractérisé en ce que l'orifice diamétral (10) du support (7) de l'insert (2) résulte de deux gorges complémentaires ménagées, respectivement, dans les parties fixe (6a) et mobile (6b) du moule (6)
