Abstract

Es wird ein Hohlleitertwist zur Verbindung von elektromagnetischen Hohlleitern mit rechteckigem Querschnitt angegeben, der aus einem Torsionselement (1) mit mindestens drei lückenlos nebeneinander liegenden, um die Achse desselben drehbaren Scheiben (2) besteht. Jede Scheibe (2) hat ein zentrales Durchgangsloch (9) mit rechteckigem Querschnitt. Die Durchgangslöcher (9) der Scheiben (2) fluchten im nicht gedrehten Zustand des Torsionselements (1) miteinander. Zur einfachen Einstellung eines gewünschten Drehwinkels ist in jeweils einer Stirnseite der Scheiben (2) ein sich in Umfangsrichtung erstreckendes Langloch angebracht, dessen Länge einem vorgegebenen Drehwinkel entspricht. Von der anderen Stirnseite der Scheiben (2) stehen in axialer Richtung verlaufende Stifte ab. In Montageposition des Torsionselements (1) greift ein von einer Scheibe (2) abstehender Stift in das an der Stirnseite der benachbarten Scheibe befindliche Langloch ein.

The invention relates to a waveguide twist for the connection of electromagnetic waveguides of rectangular cross-section, which consists of a torsion element (1) with at least three gapless juxtaposed disks (2) rotating around the axis of the same. Each disc (2) has a central through hole (9) with a rectangular cross section. The through holes (9) of the discs (2) are aligned with each other in the non-rotated state of the torsion element (1). For easy adjustment of a desired angle of rotation, a slot extending in the circumferential direction is mounted in each case in one end face of the discs (2), the length of which corresponds to a predetermined angle of rotation. From the other end face of the discs (2) are in the axial direction extending pins. In the mounting position of the torsion element (1), a pin projecting from a disk (2) engages in the oblong hole located on the end face of the adjacent disk.
