Abstract

The machine has a continuous press blanket which presses the web against a ridged roller. The warps (30a-30c) of the blanket are pairs of three warps (30a-30c). The gap (b) between neighboring warp pairs is smaller than the width (a) of each warp pair. The ratio of the gap (b) between adjacent warp pairs (30a-30c) and the diameter (d) of the separate warps is 1.2d ≥ b ≥ 0.3d. The diameter (e) of the wefts (31) is larger than the diameter of the warps (30a-30c), using a rod wire for the wefts. The warps (30a-30c) are of twisted strands. The wefts (31) are of a softer material than the warps (30a-30c). The wefts (31) have surface notches to hold the warps (30a-30c) in place. The two outer warps (30a,30c) of each warp pair pass together over the wefts (31), and the center warp (30b) in each pair move in an opposite direction at the wefts. The warps in one pair have an opposing run round the wefts to the pattern of the neighboring warps, over the same weft (31).

Description

The invention relates to a machine according to the preamble of the claim 1. Such a machine is from DE 195 36 007.9 (corresponding GB 2 305 675 A) known. The basic problem of using made of metal mesh pressure tapes is that the Weft threads in operation - starting from the edges towards the middle bent at the front, i.e. in the direction of transport, thus reducing the bandwidth is reduced. The junction between the ends of the to an endless pressure band connected to metal fabric bent in the same way and thereby in the operation of a turning-bending stress subjected, making the service life of the pressure belt negative being affected.

The invention has for its object the pressure band of the generic type To design the machine so that its service life increases significantly becomes.

This object is achieved by the features in the labeling part of claim 1 solved. Through the measures according to the invention is a symmetrical clamping of the weft threads between reached the pairs of warp threads, while at the same time by the relative small distance between the adjacent pairs of warp threads of the described Deflection effect of the weft threads is prevented.

Numerous further developments arise from the subclaims.

In Drehrichtung 11 bzw. In a machine frame 1 there are a lower corrugating roller 2 and an upper one Corrugated roller 3 rotatably supported by means of shafts 4, 5. They point to each other parallel axes 6, 7. They are with them on their cylinder surfaces parallel to the axes 6, 7 extending corrugations 8, 9 provided in Comb the contact area 10 of the two corrugated rollers 2, 3 with one another. One of the corrugating rollers 2, 3, usually the upper corrugating roller 3, is driven in the direction of rotation 12, while the other corrugating roller, Usually, the lower corrugating roller 2, in the direction of rotation 11 of the other corrugating roller 3 is taken. In the direction of rotation 11 or 12, Downstream of the contact area 10 is a glue application device 13 arranged in the machine frame 1, the a glue application roller 14th has, which is adjustable against the corrugation 9 of the upper corrugating roller 3. The application roller 14 is rotatable about an axis 15.

21 in Lagern 22 bzw. A pressure device 16 is located in the upper area of the upper corrugating roller provided that a deflecting roller 17, a tension roller 18 and a pressure belt 19 has. The deflection roller 17 and the tension roller 18 are by means of shaft journals 20 and 21 in bearings 22 and 23 of the machine frame 1 are each freely rotatable about an axis 24 or 25, that is not powered. All axes 6, 7, 15, 24, 25 run parallel to one another. Designs for the tension roller 18 are generally known, for example from DE 44 20 726 A (corresponding to US Pat. No. 5,632,850). A Tensioning the pressure belt 19 is carried out by moving the tensioning roller 18 parallel to the drain tangent 27 in the direction 28.

As can be seen in FIG. 1, the pressure band 19 lies over a wrap angle g of about 90 ° against the corrugation 9 of the upper corrugating roller 3 starts and runs in the same direction as the direction of the arrow 26 um. The pressure belt 19 runs from the upper corrugating roller 3 accordingly the expiration tangent 27, which is identical to the inflow tangent of the pressure belt 19 on the tension roller 18.

The pressure belt 19 is designed as a fine-mesh, tensile sieve belt, namely as a fabric, as shown in detail in Figures 2 to 5 is. It consists of the arrow 26 corresponding to the directional arrow Longitudinal direction 29 extending warp threads 30 and transverse to this Weft threads 31. The warp threads 30 are each in pairs of three warp threads 30a, 30b, 30c provided, these pairs of warp threads 30a, 30b, 30c have a width a that is greater than the distance b between adjacent pairs of Warp threads. The two outer warp threads 30a, 30c of each pair of warp threads run in the same direction, i.e. they are each on the same side of one Weft 31 guided, while the middle warp thread 30b each opposite is guided, as can be seen in particular from FIGS. 2 to 4. Because the three warp threads 30a, 30b, 30c per pair of warp threads 30a, 30b, 30c are provided and guided in this way, a symmetrical Clamping of the respective weft thread 31 reached.

This course of the warp threads 30a to 30c changes from one to the other adjacent pair of warp threads 30a to 30c, as in particular the Fig. 2 and 3 can be removed. This means that if - in relation to the Top view in Fig. 2 - the middle warp thread 30b - in Fig. 2 - over a Weft thread 31 runs, the middle warp thread 30b of the adjacent pair of warp threads - again based on the plan view in Fig. 2 - below of the weft thread 31 is carried out. The reverse applies accordingly for the two outer identical warp threads 30a and 30c each Pair of warp threads.

Für das Verhältnis des Abstandes b der Paare von Kettfäden 30a bis 30c zum Durchmesser d der einzelnen Kettfäden 30a, 30b, 30c gilt 1,2 d ≥ a ≥ 0,3 d.5, each warp thread 30a to 30c consists of six Strands 32, which are twisted together, that is to say twisted, are what is shown in FIGS and 4 is indicated in the drawing. The diameter c of each strand 32 lies in the range of 0.2 mm. The diameter c of the strands 32 can be used to reduce wear possibly also less than 0.2 mm, namely in the area from 0.15 to 0.2 mm. It follows that the diameter d of each warp thread 30a to 30c is in the range of 0.6 mm. The strands 32 each consist of steel wire. Because of the stranding, the individual Warp threads 30a to 30c on the one hand very tensile and on the other hand very flexible. For the ratio of the distance b of the pairs of warp threads 30a to 30c applies to the diameter d of the individual warp threads 30a, 30b, 30c 1.2 d ≥ a ≥ 0.3 d.

The weft threads 31 are made of a material that is softer than that Material of the warp threads 30a to 30c, so that the warp threads 30a to 30c forming slight notches 33 in the weft threads 31 as it were bury the latter so that the warp threads 30a to 30c slip in Direction of the weft threads 31 is additionally prevented. As a material for the weft threads 31 and the warp threads 30a to 30c come high-alloyed Chromium-nickel steels are considered by their alloy composition are identical, so that stress corrosion is eliminated. The different strength is known in the manner of the type of Wire drawing and the treatments that take place here, which in the Practice are known. The free ends 34 of the weft threads 31 have the shape of a spherical cap trained, i.e. rounded to the risk of injury to exclude.

The distance f between adjacent weft threads 31 is in the range of 1.0 to 1.5 mm and preferably in the range of 1.1 to 1.2 mm.

The pressure tape 19 is made from a finite metal-fabric tape, whose ends in the region of a weft thread 31 in the usual way according to the prior art, for example by a soldered connection, be connected to each other. Alternatively, at the ends of the warp threads Welded eyelets through which a rod is inserted.

Das Anpreßband 19 preßt hierbei mit seiner Außenseite 39 die Kaschierbahn 38 gegen die gewellte Papierbahn 35.In the contact area 10 between the lower and the upper corrugating roller 2, 3 a paper web 35 runs in, which is formed by the corrugations 8, 9 a corrugation 36 is provided. The tips 37 of the respective corrugation 36 are provided with glue in the glue application device 13. The remaining Areas of the corrugated paper web 35 are not glued. Via the deflection roller 17 a liner 38 is fed, which is also made of paper exists and has the same width as the paper web 35th This liner 38 is inserted against the outside 39 of the pressure band 19 and in the pressing area 40 defined by the wrap angle g Pressure band 19 against the tips 37 of the corrugation 9 of the upper Corrugated roller 3 lying, corrugated paper web 35 pressed and with this connected. The pressure band 19 presses with its outside 39 Laminating web 38 against the corrugated paper web 35.

Since the upper corrugating roller 3 in the usual way, for example at about 170 ° C. is heated, that evaporates in the located at the tips 37 of the corrugation 36 Glue 41 contained water and escapes at least in part the liner 38 and the screen-like, woven pressure tape 19, as with the flow arrows 42 in Fig. 6 is indicated.

The fully glued corrugated cardboard, laminated on one side with a liner 38 43 runs in the direction of the drain tangent 27 together with the Pressure belt 19 from the upper corrugating roller 3 and is with the pressure belt 19 partially guided around the tension roller 18. From there they are fed to a take-up device in the pull-off direction 44.

The heating of the paper webs 35, 38 does not have to take place via the corrugating roller 3. Alternatively or optionally, it can also be carried out within the Pressure belt 19 arranged between deflection roller 17 and tension roller 18, 1 indicated by dashed lines in FIG. 1.
